  1. Mine is still "In Warehouse"
  2. I don't have plans to re-create the villains right now. Maybe some day in the distant future.
  3. PLEASE, PLEASE, avoid spoilers for this week's Mando episode. If you must talk about it (and I must!) then use spoiler tags. If you're on a desktop the eye symbol will auto add the spoiler tags for you. If you're on mobile use < spoiler > < /spoiler > tags (without spaces).
  4. It was a joke. The Yoda Chronicles hasn't been a thing for awhile now.
  5. I don't know where else to point the "best year/worst year" discussion. But it's a good way to derail this topic. Try to keep those discussions short and sweet so the rest of us don't have to scroll for pages to find where the discussion got back on track.
  6. Oh man, my kids are going to love that show. If Lego releases sets attached to it my wallet is doomed!
  7. Added a picture of the race course!
  8. Decades after his last adventure Johnny Thunder set out to find the last artifact of Gyatso. He was joined by his trustworthy gang of friends. And together they braved traps, curses, and evil Lord Sam Sinister! From left to right: Babloo first met Johnny in the jungle. Now he acts as cultural interpreter. Teddy is a new addition to Johnny's team. He's a wealthy business man who helps fund their expeditions. His only requirement is that he be allowed to come along! Max Villano, after many years of losing to Johnny finally decided to join him and helps clear routes for the expedition. Mike has grown a lot since he first crossed paths with Johnny. Now he's a dependable member of the team and the best at hunting for their dinner. Harry Cane is a little older, but he'd just tell you he's a little wiser. Their faithful aviator he's the go-to pilot for the group. Johnny Thunder is the leader of this gang of adventurers. He never goes anywhere without his trusty pick-axe and always hopes there are no scorpions around. Elisa Cane is Harry's daughter and his protege. She's been learning how to fly from her old man. The rest of the team is more comfortable when Harry is at the helm, but Elisa's begun to prove herself to them. Gail Storm definitely, most certainly, does not have a thing for Johnny. But she's never left his side and is always pointing the camera at him as she records their adventures. Dr. Charles Lightning has never had his fill of exciting and continues to travel with Johnny. He's go to catch phrase when asked if he's ready to retire is "There's never Thunder without Lightning!"
  9. Wow. Every Saturday for the past month, like clockwork, this thread goes off the rails. The OT/PT/ST debate has merit and some value for this specific topic. But you all killed it dead for now so let's please drop it... at least till next Sat. But seriously, we need to stop this trend of getting so far off track every time the weekend starts. Otherwise I'm just going to lock it when I wake up on Sat and unlock it Sun afternoon. Thank you for getting the point I was trying to make. Both of you, stop mini-moderating. Stop bad-mouthing your fellow forum users.
  10. I respect all you who like the Prequel sets better. But I'm an OT guy myself and would buy OT over Prequel any day. I think you all are spot on when pointing out that the designers are problem more like me and so their love for the OT shows more. But that will change over the next few years I'm sure. And who knows, maybe 20 years from now we'll have people saying they're bigger fans of the Sequels than the Prequels!
  11. Wow! This is so stunning! I love how you have the layered levels. Gives the MOC such a sense of depth. The way you built the rock sections at the top really sells the cave vibe. Would love to drool over this in person!
  12. We're paying for a service. Right now they say it could take 40 business days. It's been 50. It's not entitled to ask them to either keep their word or make it right.
  13. Thank you all! I had so much fun building this and I'm glad others can enjoy it too.
  14. I've really tried to be patient with PAB as it's an amazing service for AFOLs and I don't want to see it go away. But I'm really tired of the crazy delays. You tell me 2 weeks, no problem. You tell me 4 weeks, no problem. You tell me 2 months... well at least it's better than LUGBulk but that's starting to push it. It's now been 2 months and 1 week since I placed my Jan 18th order and it's still marked as In Process. They gave me 500 points for the delay and keep telling me to wait just a little more. I appreciate the CS reps efforts, but at some point you just have to admit the system broke down. The reality is there isn't a better option outside of PAB. Bricklink sellers don't have new parts in large quantities and even if they do the mark-up is crazy. So we're all going to keep coming back to PAB. Just seems like Lego needs to put more man-power behind it to make it work better.
  15. Your skill with modelling clay is impressive! I too thought you removed the duplo face. I grew up with both Tootle and Thomas so this hits me with a double wave of nostalgia. Thomas is very well built, and your figs capture the Thomas vibe perfectly. Love your tree and plants. The brick-built background is just icing on the cake! Fantastic work!
  16. I've had to add a number of spoiler tags. Please be mindful to use spoilers if you're talking about the current episode.
  17. Not really a spoiler since he only referenced what was in the trailer. And that's been out for more than a week
  18. Picture is out there on Jay's Brick Blog. They're real! The unicorn knight is amazing.
  19. The splitting of hairs and the back-and-forth needs to stop. Sometimes it's entertaining or informative, right now it's petty.
  20. It's not so much that this thread is off topic as it's too heated. Valid points from different forum members. But the rapid back-and-forth isn't beneficial to this thread. Please take extra time before responding. And remember to breathe
  21. Sharing your speculations is fine, just trying to keep this thread on topic. We have the wishlist thread for speculations.
  22. We've got a lot of newer members to this thread so let me remind everyone that this topic is for discussing set news and substantiated rumors. That's a broad range of subjects, but wishlisting is not one of them. This is a good example of a comment that crosses the line from talking about substantiated rumors to wishlisting. Actual set numbers are used, but the rest is all a guess. @Matichado just using your comment as an illustration. This kind of list is better posted in the Wishlist topic which can be found in my signature.
