Ha! I love the new set. I don't keep sets together myself. So what I see is a fantastic parts pack. Plus the figs are great. So it's a win-win for me.

We are almost one week past the air-date of the Mando episode everyone has been mentioning for the past 2 pages. Rules are to wait 1 week, but with the impending set reveal and since we are almost at that point anyway I'm going to call it and say it's fine to talk about the crab mech and Mythosaur. If I just spoiled it for you send me a PM and remember the internet is a dangerous place for those wanting to avoid all spoilers. For the record, I have no inside info so I don't know what would be in a set with Bo Katan.

So then only 40:22 and 51:52 are confirmed Shinies? I guess I didn't realize that the gray shoulder pads were actually colored and not just shadowed. But that does beg the question why the 41st is both defending Coruscant and loading up to help Kashyyyk.

I for one would love to see more P2 Shinies. I'd like those far more than TK Troopers. In RotS P2s can be seen at 15:38 At 40:22 At 41:07 At 41:16 At 51:52 Possibly at 1:21:45 So I think they have a lot more presence in the film than people credit And while I was searching I noticed this "mech" at 51:12 So I guess mechs/binary load lifters do already exist in SW.

That's the same with mine. When I called they said it was because of 2 pieces which were backordered. Seems like every now and then someone would double check the order which moved it out of warehouse and into processing. And eventually it would go back to in warehouse. Very frustrating. It's a Standard parts order. It's currently been 37 business days since I placed the order. No way is it getting shipped to my door within 3 business days. It's still "in warehouse" right now. But I guess they get till Wednesday before I call again.

Episode 2 is out! All entries are scored to date. A sheet with public data can be found here. Please note, as I put this together I found some entries that may have been entered under the wrong coordinates. So there may be some changes to the sheet as I talk with the team leaders.

When word hits the holonet that the grand prize of Coachelle Prime's Riot Race is a Hyperspace Star Chart the various factions throughout the galaxy put together their best racers to compete. Contest Specifics: There are 3 categories for this contest. Cat A: Build a Riot Racer and pilot. Assign a total of 12 points across the three categories of Attack, Defense, and Speed. No category can have more than 5 points assigned to it. Try to have your Riot Racer match the stats you give it. For example, if you put 5 in Attack, 4 in Speed, and 3 in Defense your Riot Racer should be sleek with lots of blaster canons. All racers will compete against each other. Various obstacles will be faced by all racers requiring Attack, Defense, or Speed stats to "beat." So chose your stats wisely. The race will consist of 24 "spaces" split into 3 laps of 8 spaces each. Each round your Racer will move the number of spaces corresponding to its speed stat. So if you have a Speed of 4, you'll move 4 spaces. During each round your racer will face an obstacle requiring Attack or Defense to overcome. If a whomp rat with defense of 3 gets in your way you'll have to shoot it. If your attack is 3 or higher you get to proceed as normal. But if your attack is 2 then you'll be penalized the difference between the 2 stats and the number of spaces you get to move will be decreased accordingly. If a Tusken with attack of 5 starts shooting and your defense is only 3 you'd be penalized 2 movement spaces. Before you face each obstacle a luck dice will be rolled. All players will have a 1/6th chance of avoiding the obstacle completely. The player that gets the 2nd highest score from the judges on their Riot Racer will get a 1/3rd chance of avoiding obstacles each roll. And the player with the highest scoring Racer will get a 50/50 chance of avoiding obstacles. Winner of the race gets the Star Chart which will grant you 50 XP in any one territory you currently have access to. Cat B: Build a repair pit where you can work on your Riot Racer. You can include the Racer in pictures, but the score will be based off everything but the Racer. Winner gets a Star Chart which grants 25 XP in any one territory you currently have access to. Regardless of where you set your repair pit in the galaxy please title and submit your MOC under the following: Dark Side - M10 Light Side - P7 Mercenaries - S10 Cat C: Show a scene where fans are enjoying the race. They can be in the stands or at a cantina. Winner gets a Star Chart which grants 25 XP in any one territory you currently have access to. Regardless of where you set your scene in the galaxy please title and submit your MOC under the following: Dark Side - M10 Light Side - P7 Mercenaries - S10 The Rules: All entries must be entered using this form: Link to Submission Form All rules in the Core Rules topic apply unless otherwise stated in this explanation or the rules above. There are no restrictions on the size/form/content of the builds, as long as they follow the above described goals. Each person may only enter each category once. All entries will earn XP for their team based on their score. The Episode will run from Mar 1 to Apr 30th June 19th. As long as it is still Apr 30th June 19th somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified from the episode and will not be eligible to receive points. The criteria by which your MOCs will be scored is 1) Storytelling, 2) Aesthetics, and 3) Technical Ability. You can earn up to 10 points in each category for a max total of 30 points per entry. The player with the highest scored build using a particular seed part will win control of that seed part. The faction that controls the most seed parts will be the Winning Faction. This episode/contest is open to all players of Mysteries, even if they joined EB or signed up for the game after the episode has begun. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to the start date of this episode. You can use creations for this contest in other forums or contests, but it should not have been displayed before the start date for this contest. All entries must be built from real LEGO or with Lego Digital Designer. 3rd party parts may be allowed if used to customize characters and in small quantities. I.E. guns or decals. 3rd party bricks are not allowed to be intentionally used (if you have a Megablock 2x2 brick in a wall of Lego bricks you won't be penalized). You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited,. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC. The Prizes: In Cat A the winner of the race gets the Star Chart which will grant you 50 XP in any one territory you currently have access to. Highest scoring MOC in Cat B will be the winner and gets a Star Chart which grants 25 XP in any one territory you currently have access to. Highest scoring MOC in Cat C will be the winner and gets a Star Chart which grants 25 XP in any one territory you currently have access to. All points won must be assigned within 3 weeks of the contest's end by announcing in your team's public thread.

We have a lot of newer members to this forum so I'm going to use this comment as an example of something that borders too closely on wishlisting. We try to keep this thread for set discussion. Theories and informed speculation have their part in this thread. But just wishing/thinking up some minifigures without any other proof crosses the line into wishlisting. I get that it's a fine line and people are going to cross it every now and then. But let's try to keep the discussion to actual sets and substantiated rumors please.

Thank you for slowly bringing this thread back on track. I'll add one comment since I think it's relevant considering all the hypothesizing that's happened over the last 6 pages. Whether you like it or not, we live in a meme culture. I think an "I hate sand" set would totally sell. You are all welcome to your own opinion. I disagree that Lego would never make it and I too am entitled to that opinion . With all the talk (appropriately so) about how beautiful the Rivendell set is I could see Lego making a stunning Naboo scene for the architecture fans with a "I hate sand" quote tile for the meme fans. But, we have no proof Lego is making anything of that kind this year so please keep speculations like that to a minimum in this thread.

I get that people can rub each other the wrong way sometimes. That seems to be happening between a couple of you right now. I'll call you out if needed, but for now please take this as a friendly nudge to give each other the benefit of the doubt and know that online communication can be tricky to navigate sometimes.

My largest order from Jan 18th still hasn't shipped so I just chatted with Lego Customer Service. They said 2 parts were holding up my order: Part 6408195 is showing 28.02 (white headdress from 10305 castle) Part 6317230 is showing 20.03 (pearl dark gray Viking helmet) So those parts are on "Backorder" and are holding up the rest of the pieces. Sharing in case others are experiencing the same issue. The service rep told me I should get the order next week. But if the Viking helmet really isn't in stock till March 20th they may just remove it from the order. Which I hope doesn't happen!

Well I don't know if I was the good cop or the bad cop. But we've had a few different Mods move on due to life changes. Right now Cloney and I try to keep things running smoothly on the SW side. This is a good reminder that if you're really bugged by something you are all always welcome to send me or Clone OPatra a PM. We keep on eye on reports as well. For example, I got 5 different reports that user "Leaks and News" was trolling. We see those reports and it helps us find trouble makers quickly. So if that was the good cop routine I guess I need a little of the bad cop. How about, stay on target or I'll send Darth Vader to your mom's house!
