Yes, that was a reeeeally looong way home... But a good thing was to meet the french guys for some lunch after the traffic jam... I was home around 21h so I had about 12 hours all in all, but started work like always and try to get rid of being tired veeeery soon the next days :D -Aredhel

LATEST NEWS... I will come with Holo and Boney tomorrow :D People from Lufthansa said that they cannot be sure if there are flights on thursday morning to this direction but they usually think yes, but I though have the chance to get back my money... And so I decided to drive with them to be sure to really get there :D -Greetings, Dana

Yes... as sad as it is... And the other thing is that when the flight really goes on thursday morning, if there is a chance to get the money back when I did not use it... Have to check out tomorrow... The problem at work is that there aren't enough people there on this day... we have opened from 9-20h and we need 5-6 people for the cash at one day... and really more than 6 or 7 we arent and many are part-time :S

I still have hope too... Lufthansa has started some flights again this evening and I will see and just hope they go north, too, because til now its only USA, Spain, Portugal and inside of Germany :S

Yes, I can only start on Thursday... Well, that you have the place for the boxes :P I cannot manage to come earlier... Then I need to hope that the flight will go on thursday again :/

Uff, that sounds baaaad :S But Düsseldorf is a place for me to get very good to... But like I said...first I have to figure out if the flight maybe goes on thursday again...

Wow thats a long travel then :S If I would have a good car which would solve the distance I would do that too but I would drive about 10 hours or so...

Well, thats all not that easy... The flights from Germany are still stopped til this evening 20h (so til about in 30 min.) but I think they will elongate this til I do not know when. The only flights going out of Germany right now go to Russia and Poland and the eastern countries... There were several people who wanted to get home there so they decided to let some fly. I hope that the situation will calm down a bit and getting there will be possible for me... There would be a possibility to go there with the train but that will cost muuuuch more extra money and I think I won't get the money back for the train to Frankfurt (from where my flight should start on thursday morning). See you (maybe) then... Dana NEW: What I saw just now is that the Lufthansa flight are until further notice cancelled til Monday 14h! We will see what will happen afterwards...

I think there are some who come with the plane... I just hope that the flights are going again on thursday morning :S

I did not say ANYTHING bad against you... So please do not think that was meant like you have fault for that... I know that you DON'T!!! I just throw this sentence about the planning into this thread... And I know that you are not the only person who planned the day-to-day-activities... It was just a general post for the question of being there or having to say sorry... Nothing less or more. AND as I told you there will always be a way to get there and as you said to me it could be that it is clear a day before and that was pretty fine for me.
