  1. The color scheme (white/grey with green accents) of this set is great. You made me wonder what an true Imperial Armada fortress would look like...
  2. I'm not into the TS figs, but the part selection in this set looks really good! Lot's of usable bricks in nice colors and those light-blue window frames are really neat. Thanks for the early review.
  3. Some nice facade ideas. And way to show off your cycle collection
  4. Take your time, as long as I'll win something by the end of the raffle Good luck moving!
  5. Nice interior! I'll be waiting for the rest of the hotel
  6. I really like the simplicity of it... the break light is a nice touch, but I would have preferred some tail lights as well. Nice little eco-friendly design. And the double-sided torso is a must-have. Thanks for the early review!
  7. TLG apparently asked not to make this information public (it was from an invitation-only questionnaire). A previous topic on this issue was removed.
  8. As a dozen have said before: ambitious. This will be a thread to watch. You'll surely have a mighty fleet when you're done. Keep posting your progress!
  9. My favorites so far are the Mission and Cantina. And don't get me wrong: I like the relative simplicity of the tower and stables. I think loosing the lion's heads and adding a few simple 1-wide torches next to the entrance would look just fine. Maybe it's an idea to do a 1980's/1990's style catalog page as a finale to the series: a scene displaying some 'action' scenes using all the sets and the individual sets framed and superimposed on the picture.
  10. Swedish conspiracy! I hope within the rest of the EU isn't that expensive either
  11. That roof technique is really inventive, but I also like your sign and the ground floor interior. Nice work.
  12. This is my least favorite so far. As was said before: the red is really... red, but it could be the picture. Although I like the concept of the set (especially the stables is a nice idea), I don't really like the jail (?) there where I'd expect an entry to the tower. Moreover those lion's heads seem out of proportion at their current location. But I like how your newest theme is progressing. Keep up the good work!
  13. There sure is a fair amount of main prizes going to Sweden this year... Anyway: congrats!
  14. That sure sounds suspicious, assuming those figs and their headgear are usually distributed across the individual bags. Too bad you already opened the bags before you noticed the figs were missing. Didn't you notice anything strange about the box or the bags (like they were opened)? Most likely explanation is that someone bought it, took the figs out, resealed everything (semi-)professionally and returned the set. I'd call TLG for advice, but it's really the store's problem.

    City 2010

That seems to be the idea behind them...
  16. The 'old' cutlasses were produced again for Pirates II as well, I like that about Lego...
  17. January 1 was the date mentioned around the presentation of the set... I guess there's hope Probably because that will be a pretty expensive part to make
  18. http://www.nonusafolcommunity.com Thanks for reviving that, makes me realize again that so many of the early members are - sadly - no longer active...

    City 2010

My thoughts exactly... but highly original concept for a Lego set
  20. ... and changed to January 29th edit: millisecond too late...
  21. Even though it's a computer-rendered image (I would have preferred real bricks), it's a really nice classic town scene.
  22. Seconded... and agreed!
  23. whoooaaahhh a ghost! But seriously, the ships look really nice in their display cabinets.
  24. Really nice MOC. I like like the design and the little market inside the walls. The plates used to create the arrow slits is really ingenious. It would have been even better if you could hide the part of the plate next to the slit, so that you could add more detail to the wall (instead of being absolutely straight and in one color) and hide the 'sports' logo.
  25. If this is the case, I'm wondering more what other mid-year releases were in there...
