soccerkid6 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I'm late but I finally took the time to comment on all the great 'Inside Kaliphlin' MOCs you guys have been turning out. I've really been enjoying them and kudos for putting together such a cohesive and fun community project. I love Mitgardia and the members in it but the amount of life inside your guild is enviable. Well Kaliphlin was inspired by the Blizzard of builds Mitgardia put out in April I know Ecc has been a bit busy sorting all his builds from that
Gideon Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Well Kaliphlin was inspired by the Blizzard of builds Mitgardia put out in April I know Ecc has been a bit busy sorting all his builds from that I'm grateful to Mitgardia for awakening some competitive spirit, at least for me it made me do two MOCs I'd never done without that, and I'm happy I made those
SkaForHire Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Right, the last time I build 5 MOCs in 21 days was probably never, unless we are counting Queenscross as separate MOCs... So the competition was a good thing.
SkaForHire Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Alright, have pictures of the last two builds for inside Kaliphlin -- just need to edit and get them up tonight.
gedren_y Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 After a long wait Visiting Herbologists is finally up. Now I need to go to sleep.
Maxim I Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 We all must thank Kai, she is the mastermind! There is life in Mitgardia, I just think summer is eating people up right now. We Texans spend a lot of it indoors because of the heat, so its pretty evident we will still be active! haha. On another note... Is DM sleeping a lot lately? I think I am catching up to him in posts. In a couple of days I will have a present for him. I went to a festival in Brussels for a few days, so I had no acces to internet Wednesday, I will be gone again for a couple days to another festival But now I will have to work there (I will got money )

Although, I will have a present for you once I find your sigfig's head. I also put a shout out to Ximus in my Rakath Mountain tour build.
soccerkid6 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 The Master Architect Challenge has reached the half way point, there is only one month left so get to work and show Kaliphlin's construction skills Challenge Topic: Master Architect Challenge
Rogue Angel Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Great job on all the Kaliphlin builds guys! First Mitgardia, then Kaliphlin... I'm a little worried Avalonia might lose the lead.
Gideon Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) Thanks for a fantastic half-year with Kaliphlin, I've really enjoyed building with you and spending too much time reading and commenting here! I'm taking a break from GoH now since I'm going to have limited access to my bricks for a while and besides that focus my building time towards another project (which I should have started already, but the Tour project made me squeeze out a couple of unplanned MOCs ) During the summer I will try to keep up with what's posted here but probably not commenting as much as I'm used to as it takes forever to write on my phone... I count on being back building for GoH in mid-late October and hope I don't miss the start of Book 2. Enjoy the summer (for you on the northern hemisphere at least ) and once again thank you very much Kaliphlin and all of you who make GoH what it is!! Edited July 2, 2013 by Gideon

Congratz to my Guild-mates for this fantastic tour they gave us through our beautifull guild!! I for myself have passed all my exams, meaning I can work the whole month of August instead of studying!! As I will have the morning shift the whole month, I will have building time in the afternoon, so that is perfect for me Too bad, this month, I will be travelling a lot

Mike S Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) Ladies and gentlemen of Kaliphlin, Do not worry about my absence for I be building what I think will become a popular destination in Kaliphlin. The building is quite slow so it will probably be towards the end of the year by the time I'm finished. I have a few smaller builds planned however for Ska's and my Kaliphlin collaborative. Wedge09 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 That's impressive Masa, I can't wait to see it finished
Gideon Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Looks very promising Masa! Interesting parts usage and an impressive scale!
Kai NRG Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Looks awesome Masa, can't wait to see it finished! The water in particular is looking very nice and that roof is excellent!

That's awesome Masa! I love the roof. Thanks guys! I'm going to try to find some time for an intro Ska's and my Kaliphlin collaborative story, so that we can get some activity back here int the Kaliphlin thread.
robuko Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Sweet build Masa! So, I forgot to vote in the Ch VI thing (It would have been for Kayne) and ZC won. His plot thing for us at the end is: Kalphlings- Dextrus Flagg has said even if the final accounting reveals Kalphlin to hold the most gold, he will lay no claim to the throne. Some believe he is no longer fit to rule. What’s more, a new power has sprung up in the desert, taking corporal form. While still weak from his awaking, the new King of the Desert (who many believe is a reincarnation of the High King) calls all Kalphlings feed up with Flagg’s leadership to drink the blood of the Desert Kings and claim their rightful place as Lords of Badlands. Will you remain loyal to Kalphlin’s government, or will you find new religion in the desert? Choose your side, Kalphlin, or the Desert Kings! So is this meant to be Pro-Flagg vs anti-Flagg conflict? We of the PGTC of course pay our fair share in taxes to the Flagg regime and receive first class physical and legal infrastructure in return. And if the Desert Kings become tired of drinking blood and need some old-fashioned water we will be very happy to supply their needs. Somehow I find it difficult to imagine our relaxed collaborative vibe descending into the shrill chaos and anarchy of our green-tighted chums, who let brother turn on brother. But let's see

But let's see Same here. We Kaliphlins seem to thrive on trade, not war. And I really can't imagine any of us taking the side of the Desert King...
Kai NRG Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Yes, I don't think Flagg will have much trouble keeping the crown... We can let the tight wearers duke it out, I think most Kaliphlins are for sitting it out on the sidelines!
Captain Settle Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 So none of you are fighting? And we're the tight wearing fairy's.
Nightstalker Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I haven't really even done much to be quite honest, but I'll still back Flagg. -Djun
