Players only please.

Day Seven has begun and will last 72 hours. You must wait 24 hours before voting.

--------------------------------------------

Objectives

To win the game, the Criminals must kill off all the Undercover Agents, while the Undercover Agents need to outnumber the Criminals.

--------------------------------------------

Rules

1. Each player has been given a character to play who is aligned with either the Criminals or the Undercover Agents. Third-Party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles.

2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted and proxy voting is not allowed, except in the case of a pre-notified absence. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. In the case of a tie, one of the tied individuals will be lynched at random. Voting is mandatory.

3. A game Day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The Day will end when all players have voted and a majority vote has been reached. After the Day has concluded, a Night stage will commence, which will last 24 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the 18 hours of the night stage.

4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night will, in most cases, be revealed at the beginning of the next day.

5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the game host via PM. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of Night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage.

6. Do not play the game outside the Day threads. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the Day threads. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game threads or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game.

7. If you are dead, you may not post in Day threads or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on.

8. You may not edit your posts.

9. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via the role PM.

10. Every player will get an Action and a Skill at their disposal. These can only be used during the Night. These are all active; none are passive.

11. Each Night, the players must use one of their Actions OR Skills by sending the host a PM about it, stating which you want to use and also your target where applicable.

12. The Night abilities have a pre-specified order of effect. If you don’t send your night ability by the time limit I’ve started the next Day, you will miss your chance to use it.

13. By using existing characters, it is expected that players will live up to their roles and follow their characters closely. Also, any referring to players by their username rather than their character’s name will not be tolerated.

14. Violation of the above rules will result in a 5 vote penalty against you on your first offence, and the death of your character on your second offence.

Well, it's certainly no surprise that Ra's wasn't a criminal, but it's strange that it only says 'scum', and it says nothing about 'undercover agent'. Joker, is this a typo on your part?

Also, wasn't Creeper's vigilante supposed to kill Black Mask last night?

Posted

Ra's was a scumbag! If it was not a typo on Jokers part, that is Undercover agent 6. If it was, we may be facing multiple teams of scumbags.

I think Black Mask is target for lynch. Even though he did not die in the night, he still is univestigatible!

I didn't expect him to. Baby Doll knew I was unkillable last Night. Instead, I was apparently blocked and made unable to vote in Today's lynch.

How would Baby Doll know you were 'unkillable'? And Why is this?

The way it was presented looks like a typo to me, and frankly, I doubt that it would have taken us this long to discover that second team. Still, one has to wonder: could we really be dealing with another faction here? :look:

Oh? And why were you 'unkill-able' last night?

Well, kill-able or not, we can still lynch you!

It is not a typo, hence the reason it appears in the opening comic and the deceased players list.

I see. In that case, it appears that we are dealing with a second scum faction here. :look:

Ra's being scum is no surprise, but the revelation of a new faction is. It makes sense for Ra's to be a separate faction as he has always had his own agenda, but the question is how many others like him there are. Probably they are the ones who didn't get cleared yesterday.

I know I have failed you miserably, Penguin, but if there is anything I can do to help our mission, just let me know. :classic:

Well, there's good news and bad news...

The good news is this: I'm still alive  Some scum bums tried to do something last night, be it use a fear canister or simply redirect me... Who knows. Anyway, I'm still here. (You know who could have done that? Hush :sceptic: )

And Ra's was scum. Besides being a lousy liar, and overall lazy, he was working against us. Good riddance.

The bad news:

1. Babydoll forgot to mention that Black mask would be 100% safe last night, thereby wasting some of town's precious resources :hmpf: A real waste. We could have used them elsewhere.

2. Again, some of town are still sending in night actions without any consultation at all, again, wasting some of town's resources. Every night, one or two "Town" players send in actions without discussing it, thereby covering ground we already know, or wasting an action on somebody cleared. If you guys come up with something new, great! If not, :hmpf:

3. "Scum" :hmpf: Frankly, that's just annoying. If Ra's is 100% on his own, then, so be it, but then he should be Independent. After killing, literally, a scum player everyday, town should be doing very well. But with five of the Agents gone, to learn there is a second scum faction is just too late, and too much. It doesn't make this surprising, it makes it a slog to finish. Compared to other movies, like Werewolf or Baritones, where there were two Scum teams, those were teams of three, and increased to four. But we've already caught five Agents. Add to that almost no night kills, and well, :hmpf: I don't want to be here at New Years.

But enough about that. I'm voting out Black Mask today. Since he's claiming town, he may as well tell us the marvelous results of his pro-town, unblockable investigation last night, and give some reason why we shouldn't lynch him. (And even when being voted out, town is still town, and won't have hard feelings. Only the scum pull tantrums  )

No, it wasn't me, I can assure you that. Well, I can't really assure you, but I can at least tell you.

So about this Scum thing... I wonder if, after resurrection, Ra's was transferred to this "Scum" side, perhaps by himself. I wonder if his requirements were to team up with the Agents, but didn't know who they were. I forgot the term, but we've definitely seen it in these games... of life before.

Otherwise, there really is a third faction, and they're the ones who we haven't been catching. :sceptic:

Grat to ear that Ra's was scum, but not so good to hear that there's another faction among us. :hmpf_bad: We know that Ra's wasn't on his own because A: He would have been marked independent (though there was that Eurodina movie where the godfather couldn't convert anyone to his side) And B: I'm pretty sure the Agents are most, if not all, gone, and we'd be stealing the missile today. :sceptic: My vote is going to Mask today, but I'll give him some more time to defend himself first.

Like I said,

I was unkillable. If the action wasn't lethal, evidently it would succeed.

I don't see why everyone is convinced that I'm a good choice to lynch. Baby Doll promised me a list of reasons why I should be lynched, but that hasn't been delivered, so I can't respond to them. I claimed my role to Baby Doll on Day 2. I reported all my results to her and allowed her to dictate my actions. That's an important role to the Town, and I claimed it early and allowed one of the leading Townies to make the best use of it.

I've said it before in previous situations: I understand if you think I'm the best lynch to further the Townie cause. But I've got an important action, I've told it to a leading Townie and allowed her to use it, and I'm not being told what anyone has against me.

You defended yourself nicely, Mask. I'll wait until Doll can confirm anything you say before I believe it, but for now I still think you're our prime suspect for now. If you are scum, you're doing a hell of a lot better job of defending yourself than they did.

Creeps, are you in some hallucinating drug yesterday? I told you privately TWICE that Black Mask is unkillable since we successfully completed a task on Night 5. :hmpf: I specifically warned you not to waste the vig's killing action, but you still ordered our vig to kill Black Mask. Why are you putting the blame on me?? Is this one of your tease on me? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt to explain yourself. Or you want to tell me the other Criminals about your not-so-dirty little secret? Maybe you should clean your ears, clogged with too much earwax or something?!:tongue:

With regards to Brickdoctor, we completed a task last night, and our reward was immunity to night kills, so he is unkillable tonight, so don't let the vig target him tonight, probably on the next night.

I read you said in the game thread that the vig will target Black Mask tonight, even if he has immunity to night kill? Or will you do a block+kill combo?

And just to clarify to everybody, The Penguin gave me a task on Night 5, which I think the Creeps passed on to me after successfully completing his own task on Night 4.

Did you get contacted by ADHO about the task? I solved it, and need to choose another to send results to. I chose you :sweet:

The Penguin told me that I should choose someone who has a learning/investigative ability to help me with the task, and I chose Black Mask on Night 5 because at that time I still trust him. But after the Creeps reported on Day 6that they had extreme difficulty investigating him (for two nights!), I became suspicious of Black Mask and "cut my ties" with him (stopped my PMs with him) since yesterday.

Another lot of scumbags, just a theory here. This lot can not be killed at night and black mask is one of them (unlikely). But Black mask seems like a good lynch anyway.

Interesting theory, but I don't think it's correct. It's already been stated that Black Mask (and Doll) had immunity last night because of the task they completed, and you have to remember, the vigilante killed Ra's on Night 1, but he was able to bring himself back to life.

The good news is this: I'm still alive  Some scum bums tried to do something last night, be it use a fear canister or simply redirect me... Who knows. Anyway, I'm still here. (You know who could have done that? Hush :sceptic: )

A fear canister? Like the ones Crane gave out? The answer's simple then; tell us who all Crane gave his canisters to. He was a Criminal, so if he gave you a list of the people he gave them to, he was likely to have been telling the truth. (Although that's probably what you mean by saying that Hush could have done it.)

So about this Scum thing... I wonder if, after resurrection, Ra's was transferred to this "Scum" side, perhaps by himself. I wonder if his requirements were to team up with the Agents, but didn't know who they were. I forgot the term, but we've definitely seen it in these games... of life before.

That's definitely possible. A sort of 'vampire' role' perhaps?

I don't see why everyone is convinced that I'm a good choice to lynch. Baby Doll promised me a list of reasons why I should be lynched, but that hasn't been delivered, so I can't respond to them. Well, you certainly make a good defense, and if Doll can confirm some of your claims, then you might actually be innocent after all. Still, Creeps said yesterday that the investigators could not investigate you. Why is this? Could this be a framer action at work? Doubtful, since framers only work for one night, while you were uninvestigatable on more than one occasion. Could there be a framer role that doesn't directly incriminate the target, but generates lasting results? It's something to think about.

Like I said Yesterday, I'm honestly as confused as you are. Really, I'd love to give you an answer, but I have no clue why I can't be investigated. I know that hurts my chances of surviving Today's lynch, but I can't give you an answer other than 'I don't know'.

In all fairness to Black Mask, all he told me was true. He did role-claimed to me on Day 2, and from then on we shared/coordinated night actions. Like what I've said, what raised my suspicion over him is the Creep's investigator's extreme difficulty in investigating Black Mask (for 2 night s if I remember correctly). I admit the case against Black Mask isn't very strong, and I'm just taking the Creeps word for it, which has led us successfully to consecutive undercover lynching so I have no reason to distrust him. But at this point where there is a "Scum" that surfaced, I'm not even sure if this is a Scum vs. Town set-up. All I know is this is a multi-scum faction ordeal, then this mission is completely f*cked up for the TRUE CRIMINALS like me, who'd only like to get all of this over with so we could claim our reward money. :cry_sad:

Thanks for that, Baby Doll. I appreciate it. :classic:

I agree. I think I agree with Hush here in that I think it's most likely that Ra's was somehow resurrected as non-Town, but not as a true Scum/Agent, however, with every person involved having an Action and a Skill, it's possible that what we're locked in here is effectively a three-way scum (I use the non-capitalized scum term here to distinguish from the possible Scum faction) gang battle, with one of the three factions simply being named 'Criminals'.

I admit I was the first one who received Crane's Fear Gas on Night 2 (even the Creeps knows this), and I even still have it in my possession right now, as I have not used it since its effect is so unpredictable that it might end up harming the criminals more than helping us.

And just what 'not-so-dirty little secret' is this? Is Creeper really an independent or something?

Well, it's up to the Creeps, but he has been THE SOLE REASON FOR THE CRIMINALS' SUCCESS, so I don't think that "not-so-dirty-little-secret" will matter to us right now.
