  1. It's not everyday that one of our admin crew is getting married ! All the team (and I'm pretty sure all the board :-P ) wishes you and Karin a wanderfull day ! *sweet*
  2. use your brain ! No, no ! Harder ! Harrrddeerr ! Now, got it ? :-D
  3. those must have a serious lack when it comes to economy...
  4. black belt ? X-O
  5. Of course, still that's a tad different, and remember that we almost only torture kids, so it's not THAT bad :-D
  6. I found your prices rather expensive aswell, but I changed my mind when I started to work. Free time is the most expensive thing on earth, especially when you spend it building five time the same set and searching for bricks on BL. So in fact, they seem rather cheap now. I also think that they might seem expensive because they do look a lot like what TLC would have come up with (the sailbarje is a good exemple, they were really close in term of design), so people tend to think a 200 piece set should cost the same price as a real Lego 200 pieces set.
  7. Just wanted to have the advice from american citizens on the latest little text voted that allows tortures when it comes to "enemies of the nation". From a European perspective this seems rather weird *wacko* After the great weapons thread, it's time for another nice debate ! *sweet*
  8. hilarious !
  9. I wander when we'll stop reading this kind of comment X-O amazing job on the MOCs, too bad the pictures are so sucky :-(

    I

shouldn't it be greeting from vienna ? *sweet* Congrats anyway !
  11. Jipay

    hi

hi ! welcome here ! Nice job you've done with the mfs !
  12. My brother in law is from Chaumont aswell. I'm living in Nancy, not so far away ! *sweet* And yes, money related, 2007 will break us all !
  13. This set was my first lego system set :'-) I think you managed to capture the design in a really nice way : simple but definitly effective and nice looking ! :-) Does this one connects to other walls like the set that inspires you ?
  14. Encore un ! *sad* :-P I hope that you'll like this place. There are numerous french frogs around. May I ask in what town you are livin in ?
  15. I think most of us were sleeping, this is why we didn't notice :-$
  16. I didn't need to read the topic to know who started it lol. Seems like we will lose a root admin soon ! Still I wonder how thye will manage to make a nice good mmorpg. For instance city of vilains was rather disappointing so I wouldn't count this as an insurance for a nice game |-/
  17. Would be nice if he/she could give advice on this topic... Those mech really do look nice :-)
  18. Not sure about that as some examples use new pieces from after 2000 I also think that the more ingeeners you have thiking on one set the less creative it will be. Just look at the comments and the explaination for all the sucky sets from the late 90s is there.
  19. The software provided with the first version was so sucky that the fan community released better versions of it, correcting themselves the bugs and everything. So it's not really something that could have been called "plug and play". This is a risk they can't take with trains obviously aimed at kids.
  20. I don't think so, this discussion is somehow interesting as it brings different perceptions of what the board is/should be.
  21. I think the proponents of the "no" depicted very well the situation. And they are also the oldest members, which means they have a better understanding of how things work around (and why it works). And even with a 100 yes for 1 no I wouldn't do it anyway, so... I agree, but we had to separate it due to the volume of posts : the other themes were suffocating. Pirates are also special in the way that there is no dedicated website to that theme and that we have the biggets forum related to this theme.
  22. Just to make it clear : both track systems are compatible, unlike your old ones. So it's just a question of look in the end. As for bluetooth, maybe they wanted to avoid the mindstorm issue that happened some years ago.
  23. Tiny but still has some usefull pieces, especially if you need bricks to build houses. It has everything from windows to doors.
  24. the allowed size for uploads only grows with the rank, sorry ;-) Anyway, welcome here. We already have an aussie and I'm pretty sure you'll hear about him soon :-D What are your favoryte themes BTW ?
  25. What's the metroliner doing in a cave? It runs between DC and NYC, there's no caves ;-) I hate when you do that X-D
