I think the quality of the plastic evolved since I used a beached based solution to clean up some mid 90's bricks I received from ebay. Those came out cleaned and the colors were intact. I think you could try other cleanign products like oxi action, which reputations grows a lot in France. It seems like it the miracle product for any type of plastic, but I wasn't able to put my hands on one of those bottles yet

I have had many injuries. The biggest one happened when I was a child, I was playing on the top of a small hill and then I felt and crashed my head on a rock. Lucky I was ok and out of the hospital 3 days after. The second major one happened when I was about 14 : I sticked a knife accidently into my right arm. As I was alone at home and was afraid my parents to discover this, I did what ricky would have done : I spilled alcohol on it and it burned the tissues. The next day I showed it to my sister who was studying medicine and was sent right to the hospital but there was nothing to do after the alcohol. They only told me I was insane and sent me back home 8-| And then there were the classics : broken arm, broken legs, brocken hand and broken everything, I was kind of a turbulent kid. If you are lucky, I will also tell you how I managed to burn my entire back *sweet*

Nah that's funny. My local lego dealer told me they don't even know what Lego is bringing to them. hey oreder stuff but never get them delivered. hence the reduced space for TLC products here. They disappeared from most of the shops >:-(

For me that's Egypt, hands down. I've always been really enthousiastic about TLC making historical theme. Even if the adventurers aren't really aimed at bringing knowledge about ancient cultures to the kids (sadly...), they contain all the good accessories and bricks requiered. Not to mention those cool sarcophagus and pharao minifigs *skull*

I once tried to create a T shirt by using a transfer sheet. It came up really fine, but I never had the idea of creating sails with it. I should try it, I am pretty sure it would come really good :-)

Speaking of what, have you ever thought of using larger baseplates ?

The last justification from TLC is that girls are less interested in their products and that boys don't care about girls at a young age :-|

See, that's the problem : you don't even think it's over priced. I spent 6 months in Canada and I bought so many sets there, including an ISD, something I would never have done if I have been in Europe. And that's a shame : for the same budget, we have 2/3 of the sets |-/

Go figure X-D In 3 years we were unable to get a decent answer by the lego company concerning the special exchange they use

I must have missed the first version, but this ship looks really great, and I especially like the fact that you used a grey/yellow theme. Those are my favoryte colors when it come to space :'-)

He have it because some MOCs can't fit into any particular forum. First of all, it is ok to post your moc in the MOC section : that's the right choice if you don't know exactly where to post your MOC. Actually, posting MOCs in themes sections is mainly ok for pirates MOCs and Castle MOCs because they can receive more replies there.

That's not about easy programing, that's about asking members to use their brains... We could do those change instantly, but changing a topic is not an action members should be allowed to perform on their own. As a topic starter, you must take your time to think about the ideas or debate you want to launch. If you keep changing the title, people will be lost. As for the post deletion, think before posting, that is all I can say. And if you still regret what you wrote, just edit your post.

Just one thing (and sorry for you :biggrin: ) but the metro liner is the exact replica of the french train called "RER" which is the most used train in the parisian region. So I doubt we could consider the design as american :biggrin: Other than that, I prefer the european trains because I find their design more classy. And we also have various different high speed trains (ICE, TGV,...) which are really cool in term of look. I also think that we maybe have a more developped train culture in Europe. Because all the country are closed to each other, we use the trains a lot as a way to go from country to country whereas it seemed to me that US people tended to use more then air way

I bought this set two weeks ago over ebay, and believe me, it is an incredible part pack. I also red the reviews. It is true that it sucks as a set. But if you only consider what it contains, and if you can get it at a reasonnable price, it becomes a really good deal :happy:

Actually you cannot realy compare both companies : Playmobil is in fact releasing the same themes years after years, with a little bit of relooking from time to time. Now, Playmobil is in a much better financial health than TLC with its strategy. The CEO of Playmobil once said it was volontary to stick to their sucessfull themes. If Lego could copy them... that would mean houses, a zoo and pirates :(
