Well that wouldn't be the first mistake for TLC in France unfortunatly. It seems to me that they decided to kill the Lego market in here. Megablocks is taking the advantage on the sheleves everywhere I go and there is no decent Lego products presented...

Yes it was easier, but it had less possibilities. Polls are gone for now, but they will be back for some members soon.

Ahhh, now that's different... I think that's interesting, even if I'm more interested into straight tracks, as most of the builders I guess. But maybe this will help us creating wondefull curved tracks in the future :biggrin:

Considering the extreme seasonality on the toy market, I wouldn't be at the seat of the production planner of TLC right now. Headaches must be consequent...

If they keep the same price with plastic only, that won't be ok at all for me because the tracks that combined plastic and metal were obviously much more expensive to create, no need to be an expert to say that. If lego i selling their new tracks for the same price, then I can imagine a big rush on the actual models since the tracks are more realistic and can be used for both system (new/old)

Well people never had so many family problems than when ebay and bricklink started :biggrin: I heard that sooo many times. The only character I wish lego included in this set was salacious crumb. he was definitly the funniest character of this scene :(

I think you guys are missleading, the original concept was to reduce the price when it came to expand your train track. I am now waiting to see the expansion packs for tracks. If they don't reduce the cost of those, now we're screwed another time, and I am pretty sure this would be bad for TLC reputation...

Town Everyday buildings on mini fig scale, e.g railway stations, businesses to fit train displays Yes, this is definitly what is missing, but another train station would be a letdown. What about houses ? Think, houses... mhm, those stuff people are living in... Bridges Yes World Buildings Taj Mahal No Sydney opera house No Empire state building No To me, it is almost impossible to do those buildings with a good level of details at an affordable price. I can't see die hard Sydney opera house fans anywhere that would be ready to spend 369 euros on a set (unlike SW fans) Vehicules Muscle cars, hot rods No, too many of them already Ferrari e.g F40, F50, specific historical race represented No, too specific Classic cars No Aircraft Civil transport planes Yes, if they are different from those we already have (the two available world city sets containing airplanes. Smaller or bigger planes with different kind of engines would be cool Classic planes from the early days of aviation Yes ! Other Structures Oil rig with functions Depending on the functions, and more importantly, it has to be MF scale Amusement park with functioning mechanical rides definitly a great idea !

I think it was mainly designed to be cheaper and more affordable to kids wanting to enter the wandefull world of lego trains. So I am basically waiting for for the prices before judging
