Q's & A's on instructions, tutorials, scans, book reviews
KimT replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
20007 Brickmaster Venator Instructions Added Starstreak's photo build instructions: Starstreak's photo build of the 20007 Brickmaster Venator can be found here -
Our member Hopeso009 has shared more of his fantastic figs with us. Click the individual pics to discuss each model IG-88 Assassin Droid Buzz Droid

Perhaps you could deeplink some of those comparions for us? Or even start a topic on each comparison. I'm sure that several members would love to have a dedicated topic for disussing the different Slave1's or the Millenium Falcons.

"Arrrgh!" "My eyes - they burn." Please resize and redo the pics - way too blurry and way to big.

Which Jedi, Sith or other do you want the most?
KimT replied to darkrebellion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I've merged the two topics: Which unreleased Jedi/Sith do you want the most? Which unreleased character do you want the most? Since they're the same. I am aware that not all characters of the Star Wars universe are jedi or Sith and therefore I changed the title a bit. -
The pics, I have seen so far, are all in the first post of this topic. I can only add the pics of the upcoming sets, if they're taken at the Toy Fair (official). So if anyone has more pics from the Toy Fair, then please post them here and I'll add them to the first post. I know it might sound a bit backwards, but no prelims from the Retailer Catalog, even if the sets have been officially shown. Ahsoka isn't sticking out of the Y-Wing. She's inside the trans-clear bubble handling the gun.

It's not the Hell-stance. It's merely an initial stand where the sword/sabre is pointed backwards and utilized as a knife/saks/dagger rather than a sword. The initial strike will be a circular movement fending off the attacker rather than a parry or piercing strike. The whole hell versus heaven thingy isn't part of this. It may be that the Sith use this as their initial stance, but I don't see anything odd in some Jedi using the same stance. Which is a kick-megablocks stance in my opinion.

Agreed. A nice vignette. But perhaps adding a little "action", making him jump from the platform to Obi Wan using clear tubes could have "upped" it all a little bit? Will be indexed shortly.
-
Will do. Tomorrow, now I have to sleep. I've just gotten back from a week of skiing with my pupils and I'm kinda beat. I just need to confirm which "prelims" I am allowed to use, before I can shove them into the first post.
-
Hmmm... That sounds odd, but perhaps they got the wrong person placing them randomly. Perhaps he doesn't know about the non-8014 & 8015 rule... That would be one neat surprise getting one of these in a battle pack.
-
No no, not negative at all. I just forgot this The part about the info missing, was just an information. Hopefully I'll get around to it this weekend.
-
Not in the first prelim pictures which you obviously didn't see. And no, I haven't gotten around to fixing/updating the info beneath the pics.
-
That wont happen. The 8014 & 8015 wont have the Darth Vader promotional, TLG stated that waaaaay back. I know it might be hard, but if you want to know all about this, then please read the entire topic and follow the links by LEGOscum. - there's plenty of info to be found in this topic. So people, don't rush the stores for battle packs, hoping you'll get a Vader, there's no chance. Buy the other sets instead.

Great work as usual CloneFactory Thanks for sharing your work with us. You can also post these in the Minifig Customization Workshop if you want to share and recieve feedback with more and other members than the ones solely roaming the Star Wars forum. Nothing's going to keep you from posting updates in this topic now and then. You can always edit the first post to contain your news and then just post in the topic to notice us.

Thanks for reviewing this good ol' classic Star Wars set. I'll add it to the index within the next few days. I bought me 2 of these back in the days, sadly I put one of them on "display" in my windowshelf. So now 2 of my Scout Troopers are very very yellow. Good thing that the Endor Base is coming out, so that I can restock.
-
I've updated the first post. I've tried to "catch" all the new pics, feel free to post any I missed Looks like som of us guessed right about that Tauntaun.
-
Yup. No link, just a deeplinked pic.
-
Wow. Those are truly great. I wish they'd done the Medieval Market Village like that.
-
Yeah me too. But since ING came in as a sponsor the colour changed. For now we'll have to live with the orange/white/yellow and puny tail-wing.
-
Teddy, your work on this keep astonishing me I wonder where you'd have this displayed in a year or so? - there's not room enough where you have it right now And I like the birch-tree, we've got plenty of those here in Denmark, so I am glad that it's there. Keep it up and hopefully within too long, I'll have some updates for my lesser yellow castle.
-
Yes please. Both the Punworcca & the minis need better/clearer/unblurry pics. What are you waiting for? Those are great MOCs and they deserve the better pics.
-
A simple modification with so many useful possibilities. Thanks for sharing this idea. It'll go into the MOC, MOD & Diorama Index shortly. (sheesh! and here I was all ready to go on my skiing trip, thinking that I was on top of almost every Star Wars index here)

Being fast is a skill handed to those of us who make it through the Sith Skool Perhaps you could deeplink all those nice pictures? That should kick this topic off with a blast
