Difficult - yes. MOC good - yes. Great work again. Now some might complain that these MOCs of yours should be in the Minifig Customization Workshop, but they're not minifigs - they're great MOCs. I'll be adding all of them to the MOC Index later.

Good question. Since this material is popping up in many themes, I'll move this to the General Discussion Forum.

The statue has probably been on display in the sun. LEGO's policy is to destroy old models that are done being on display. Whenever they replace something in the parks, then they destroy the previous model with a sledgehammer. It's not good enough (sun and weather damage) to be sold and their motto: "The best is not good enough" clearly indicates, that inferior or damaged goods are to be destroyed. Why the whining? It's just a glued statue? They did that movie just to goof around with LEGO fans - and it looks like they're succeeding. Get over it

Sigh! Yes; Vader, TT, Xwingyoda and SW4J left and then started brickhorizon.com That wouldn't be most of the members that left EB. People leave for various reasons, I was off for 6 months when I got a daughter - would that make me a leaver? LEGO is a hobby to us AFOLs and there's a zillion reasons why one would abandon his/her hobby. I see no reason to talk about the people I know that have left this place. - Why? Simply because if they didn't say anything here, then it's none of your business, is it? We've got some 4000 registered members here. Checking their post-count will tell you that a lot of them never ever post - does that make'em quitters? - No, they just don't post. I see no reason for this topic, other than it smells like someone would love to hear about the so-called 'break-up' and decay of Eurobricks. Well, there is none. Eurobricks is going well and so is Brickhorizon. I still consider myself a friend of the admins there and so does plenty of the staff here. The Honorary Member title is given to former staff members who'd resigned from their duties or to special members. I hope this will be sufficient.

Precisely. Making a 'preliminary' version of a set is essential. When the preliminary version has been accepted, then the work starts on molds, modifying the set as per requests (depending on parts value i.e chrome versus pearl, design remarks by Lucas and so forth), designing the finished boxes and stuff like that. Which is why mostly preliminary pictures are in the retailer catalog - it might also explain why we sometimes notice that pictures in LEGO magazines aren't coherent with the real-deal sets. I hope we'll be getting new alien heads - more Greedo-heads would be super. And it does look like the Shuttle will feature such, but we never know until we see the final set pictures.

I do hope you're kidding. It's Solar Sailer, not Wind Sailer or something like that. I don't ever recall seeing spaceships fall in Star Wars, except when they're close enough to a planet to be influenced by the planets gravity. - So it wouldn't even be close to "sort of like...." There's nothing to question. Sheesh! Didn't you learn anything in school? Harnessing solar winds rocks!

There's always Bricklink

Couldn't wait. I've frontpaged it already. Thanks for reviewing it I'll read it more carefully tomorrow and index it as well. Perhaps you could do some pics for me? I need Dooku* and the Pilot, front, side and rear. 1024x768 pixels please. (For the minifig index) *Both versions (hood/hair)

Our member Svelte_Corps brings us a fine on-site review of 7752 Count Dooku's Solar Sailer Picture is link or click >here<

Awesome review so far. When this is finished, I'll slam it on the frontpage. So when are you finished?

Looks at the pics once more.. They're there. The pics are simply different, not all of them have the minifigs next to them.

Thanks to alsonar for pointing in the direction of this: New Merchandise

Thanks for the updated links. I've added them to the first post of the rumor topic.

Which Jedi, Sith or other do you want the most?
KimT replied to darkrebellion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You want the planet as a Jedi/Sith? -
Looks like I have to quote myself to ensure that you guys actually read the previous posts in a topic.

Sorry, you didn't realize what? - that software piracy is illegal? - that we don't allow it here?

The work on Ep3 has begun. I've taken all the pics, so I just need to link them. Check the first post for the link to The Minifig Index Episode III.

Well said. I used to like the older colours better, but now I actually prefer the new ones. The old ones look 'dirty' as mentioned earlier and my collection has also grown to a size where the old colours are outnumbered. Right now I am rebuilding my SW collection and old castle sets. When that's done, I guess I'll sort the old colours out and pack them away. New bley rocks and it has been here so long, that it's been there longer than the old colours - since my coming out of the dark ages.

Is this the fella? If so, then he's from 1978. I am not sure which set he's from. But he sure is genuine.

Enough. Use the pm system instead. I'll not allow this chat posting here.

Yehaaa! From Formula1.com

Great follow-up Mr.P Only bad thing is that I have to click each picture to be able to read it, as I am using a 15" screen. Perhaps using a larger/bold font would improve that.

And on this one, the leg pin doesn't break

Anyone know where I can find the prototype for 4504 Millennium Falcon
KimT replied to donneyboy's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well that depends on wether you collect blue or black boxes Personally I don't collect the boxes, so I have no issue there. But I've still got 2 identical CTT's with the only difference being Mace Windu as Non-LUL & LUL Also the different numbers on the Tie & Y-wing has caused me to buy a few of those.
