Nice one Made me smile happily for a few minutes. A neat little bignette.
-
As usually another stunning custom minifig from you

Oddly this pic surfaces a few days after it has been discussed in the 2009 Picture and Rumor thread. I hope this will be last time we see this MOC combined with the unreleased/future set question - no offense meant, but this one is starting to bother me.
-
That's a nice collection baby
-
Kinda hard to say. This is a MOC found on Brickshelf, so it would be difficult asking the maker this question.
-
Paint sealer...I normally buy spray cans with the clear sealer. Here's it's called LAK..Maybe it's the same word in Sverige?
-
How about a Sandcrawler?
-
Nice. I like how you've made it pointy and more arrowshaped. The rear-thrusters are a little undersized in my opinion.

All you need now is a friendly American reading your post and sending you a pm Luckily I got this set during the last event where someone had found all the pieces and made an instruction. I think it was based on PaulC's reversed build of this. So I don't need it...and yeah I wish I lived in the US = half price on LEGO and Brickmaster

Ooops! I missed this one. Happy Birthday Lasse

Welcome to Eurobricks. Perhaps you could tell us a little more about yourself, which themes you're into, what you do for a living, your age and so forth.
-
Heretic! The Simarillion is the best book he wrote. Anyways - Welcome to Eurobricks Santhos. Feel free to tell us a little more about yourself if you like. For example real name, where you live, how old you are, your work and so on. No obligation, though. I am glad to have you join us, we can always use more castle fans
-
Welcome aboard Star-Sam Always good to have another SW fan around. As for the Fabuland stuff, I guess I'll have to live with that

Welcome to Eurobricks Steven. I hope you'll enjoy yourself here

How did you like the CW movie? And how do you like the Lego CW sets?
KimT replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This IS the topic title. If you want to ask questions about the movie, then go to the Community section where it's being discussed. -
??? Perhaps talking about the set in a review topic would be suitable!
-
Perhaps it's because they've been released before? Dr.S bought the first releases and with the CW wave he now has 2 of each. Could that be it

Thanks for this great review Dunamis. I've added it to the index. I really love this one. I think TLG has just given us what we wanted all along It's funny though that C3P0 has the wrong hands on the box-art. I am looking at mine right now (MISB) and wish I had the time and didn't have to go to work in 8 hours I guess I'll have to sleep on it. So much to build and so many minifigs to drool over

A perfect design for what ought to be a perfect set. I really like this set, don't get me wrong here. But...... The hype concerning this set doesn't really do well for the set. It's a fine MOC (and set), but it's highly overrated in my opinion. For it to be supercool it needs a little more of the UCS MF feeling to it. It was a supercool set in 2002, but compared to the similar sets of today this one is...average I know I'm sticking my head out for a bashing, but that's how I feel... This review has made me wanna rebuild it NOW! Perhaps I'll change my mind then Thanks for this review JopieK, you keep stunning me with your super reviews I've added it to the index (discovered that I'd forgotten to have this set in the index) and added a poll.

Set#: 7876 Theme: Creator Set Name: Cement Truck Pieces: 44 Release: 2007 Price: 3.98 USD / unknown EUR / unknown GBP Links: My 7876 Brickshelf Gallery Bricklink Reference Catalog Peeron.com Brickset.com Lugnet.com Polybag shot: Introcomment: I bought this little Creator set by coincidence. I was placing an order on shop.lego.com and noticed that this was on sale for 1.98 USD. Who can resist something like that . So I bought it. I am a sucker for those small Creator polybags. I even bought several candy can sets and the cardboard boxes with awfull sugar-crackers to get the hummer and two other sets. Yes maybe I am a little weird sometimes The build: The build was easy. I think it took me almost 3 minutes to build this. Including time to open the polybag, sort the bricks and drink some coffee. Pro's and Con's It's a neat little cement truck, but there's plenty against it: Con#1: The top of the driver's cabin looks unfinished. You can see the window through the grills and the attachment for the cement mixer also looks like it's lacking finishing design. Con#2 The Cement mixer looks bad. The technic axle sticking out makes it look...well..strange. I don't recall seeing a cement truck with a rod sticking out of it. Con#3 Where's the number plate and rear lights? Con#4 The front is nearly ok, except I think it lacks the "Mack" in truck After some consideration on how to evaluate the set, I found that I would give it a poor or below average grading. Now I could do that, but instead I've decided to overhaul it instead. "You've been overhauled" Let the MOD'ing begin The MODding: I decided to fix the 4 Con's. Which meant MOD'ing the cement mixer, the front, the roof and the rear number plate The Cement Mixer MOD: I changed the technic axle to a shorter one, reducing the part sticking out of the rear to a near zero The Rear Number Plate MOD: Using one of these, I made this: Adding red rear lights and a number plate did the trick in my opinion. The Front and Roof MOD: The roof has been given a little more "attitude" and height. The front has been given some chrome and square headlights. Here's a few more to drool over : There's always fun to have with a set that looks a little dull in the beginning. Wouldn't you say so?

Oh my They rejected McLaren's appeal. Seems as if they (FIA) really want Ferrari to win this year. Luckily I'm a Renault fan. City Nightrace On!

Wasn't this thread about "Are you a member on BZP?"? Stop the flaming and ranting or be stopped.

Set Review: 8293 Power Functions
KimT replied to cagri's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
A fine review of a very useful set - technicwise that is. It's good to be shown the possibilities within the rather new range of technic power units. Thanks -
8294 Technic Evacuator
KimT replied to furious's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks for this fine review. I've never been much of a technic fan myself, but I must admit that this looks kinda cool to me. Not sure wether and older set is better or not. This is a beauty and perhaps I'll someday consider building some of my old sets or even buy a new one. Thanks
