  1. Count me in. What's your paypal account?
  2. I am not a "they", I'm a him
  3. So, I've tried to clean up the first post. I've added pics to the sets, so that we know what we think we're discussing Maybe I've missed a pic or two, so feel free to find more pics. By now you all think I'm talking about set pics, yes? No I'm not, fell free to find them as well What I mean is that some members have found pics of the Separatist Shuttle as it is in the movie or in an encyclopedia. Please help and find some pics of the remaining sets. That way the discussion can be kept alive and kicking without turning into an "I'll surely buy or I'll surely not buy"-topic. (Which has absolutely nothing to do with the future sets and the rumours concerning them ) Confused? Good, so am I
  4. I'll try to clean up the first post. So that we can all get a better view on what the rumours are so far. Gimme an hour or so.
  5. And it has. I'll move this there.
  6. Go here and follow the on-screen instructions. Then you'll find the bricks you're missing (hopefully). They reserve the right to require payment for shipping and bricks - I've never experienced it, but then again I've only had to use it twice.
  7. They're nice I'll just move this to the proper forum for such creations (The Minifig Customization Workshop) Thanks for sharing them
  8. Anything to keep me in shape for the firefigther conest..no wait, they don't have that in Günzburg, do they? Erhm..perhaps I'd like to hitch a ride this time.
  9. In the top of the topic
  10. Thanks for the review. It's always good to have a 2nd opinion on a set. I've added the usual poll and I'll index it tomorrow (must sleep). Super pics and great to have "in-build" pics A fine set which I'll surely buy when I find it.
  11. As usual, count me in.
  12. Thanks for that darkrebellion. Now I'll go to bed and dream of sets to come. I've added the new info to the first post. I guess I'll have to clean it up sooner or later. Stay on target!
  13. And done: Brickshelf folder with the resized pics can be found here when public.
  14. No, Yoda was released in no less than 3(4) sets. Ok, so I remembered wrong. I just have plenty Yodas and one is more than enough For the set list click here Thanks for pointing that out.
  15. Set#: 7103 Theme: Star Wars Set Name: Jedi Duel Pieces: 74 Release: 2002 Price: 10 USD Minifigs: 2 (Count Dooku and Yoda) Links: 7103 Brickshelf Folder Bricklink Reference Catalog Peeron.com Introcomment: I remember getting this set solely because I collect Star Wars. As I rebuild it and took pics of it, I found that I actually like this set for different reasons. Dooku's speeder is pretty cool and the lightsabre rocks. The Dooku minifig is also great. What's not so great is the flythingy and getting another Yoda. Though that's kinda hard not to get in a set focused on their duel "You can't see the wires, because they digitally removed them." "Be careful or I'll digidally remove your head" - Steven Seagal [i hope I quoted that one right ] So to get the review on the move, I'll impress you all with a box picture: Neat, huh? One of the smaller boxes, but still kinda big when consider that you only get 74 pieces and 2 minifigs. The instruction isn't that big As I said, the Dooku minifigs is awesome I love the print on his torso that combines the brown cape with the torso and also the head is neatly designed. Not a fleshie, though. This was before the flesh-license-facelift A sideview of the light blue speeder. Mmmm that crome light sabre hilt is nice The design of the speeder is also ok, and without the usual off-colour-scheme bricks. No tan or yellow sticking out there Yeah, I'd panic too if this came right at me...who wouldn't when noone's driving? And a rear shot. I think the design is a little off. The shields makes it all a little too open in my opinion. The printed bricks are a kick and thus evens the score here. This hideous design is meant to flip Yoda around the air. Put him in this funfair from Hell thing and give him a twister he and Dooku will never forget. My guess is that it's there to add some playability, but it's just odd and quite useless. Much like the playability soccer thingies in the Ultimate Light Sabre Duel The Verdict: Ups and downs. This set offers both. I rate it as "Average" since the size and price of the set make it acceptable to have odd things. Confused? Good so am I Making a small set isn't that easy and remeber this set is from 2002 and a lot has happended since then, designwise that is. What do you think?
  16. I finally got my hands on this set. I'll even say that it's an ok set. Only one thing really annoys me and that's the quality of the "gear". I think the plastic is too soft and it should have been the same black as the regular Star Wars blasters. Set = Average - brown cylinders, why? blue technic pins instead of grey, why? Figs = Average, why doesn't the yellow Battle Droid have a yellow-striped head? Weaponry = Below Average - gear and guns for the red clone named commander Fox or something Also I think I'll replace the ugly minifig heads with black heads. I can't stand seeing the flesh underneath the helmets.
  17. Nice work memory. I love the sleekness of it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  18. What a meaningful addition to this topic. Thanks for sharing those rumours, which for obvious reasons, are very important to the topic on late 2008 and 2009 sets. Did you stop and think for a minute, before you posted that? Let's stay on topic here
  19. Yoda's been rearranging his BS folder, thus the links are "broken". Hopefully he'll swing by and fix the links. Until then I'll close this topic.
  20. No problemo. It takes a while finding and learning how this place is designed/indexed.
  21. Okie here it goes: 1. Write the name of his country on a piece of paper 2. Read his title again 3. Compare the country on the note with the one in his title 4. Start laughing 5. If still in doubt...then let it go
  22. I learned the gun fact from one of the designers of the Agents line. So no link, you have to trust me on that. The grey/bley is not a fiasco. LEGO made a survey in which they asked several kids which grey they liked and new grey won. - I guess the AFOLs weren't that active back then. A loss for some a win for others. I'm pretty sure they don't change anything (rules/colours and so forth) without prior market surveys. They're not suicidal in a business way. LEGO works from several rules and ethical concerns, please don't make the easy mistake assuming they're either insane or have no clue as to what making money is. It's a toy and it's meant for fun, let's not get too serious. This is merely a hobby and not our life and blood people
  23. Ok. I'll do that tonight
  24. They've already renewed it once and they've also said that they wont be doing that again. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Personally I think that they'll renew it, if the price is right and if Star Wars continues to sell well. And NO I don't think you're stupid - just a little dullminded
