Oooh, neato. I have never been a big mecha guy, but I like all you accomplished with such a slender profile. Now if only these bricks all really existed in these colors!

So more dark purple then! Send ME you Joker Lowriders people!

Like a M-Tron magnet? Totally get ya there!

This little guy is the MoonDog. There isn't much to say about it other than it is a quad rover with paramilitary applications. This is my first walk into the NCS ground vehicle scene, though I have 2 more vehicles that will eventually get posted as well.

Borders not included in limit. Cat B can be any size under 32 X 32 Cat A need not be mounted, just make sure it makes sense. Yes! Someone has realized a rider need not use a horse! -
It's okay if you like that sort of thing with cool details and hidden mechanic/pneumatic features... Maybe I should read about this Gates thing... is it like GoH in space or something?

That was my struggle with it as well Bob. Getting into the NCS game late, I don't have a plethora of old trans-yellow canopies, and getting them second hand is both expensive and they are constantly in bad shape. I have several of this bigger one from when ol' Benny's spaceship was on clearance, but the size on a small ship doesn't work as well as I would like. I found after tinkering that the best way to "shorten" the canopy was to place it at an angle like this. It is still a bit on the bigger side, and I wish it wasn't 6 wide, but it's what I had available. I should also mention the smaller "x-wing" canopy on the new Batcave set has me salivating to build some new fighters after I can Bricklink a few of them! I have an additional ship awaiting final photos as well as 3 ground vehicles... one of which is very... "mega"... that needs photos but once I have them, they should be posted over the coming weeks!

The FireMoth proved to have enough firepower to serve its role as a “cruiser killer”, but after making a successful debut, Blacktron altered its tactics to target FireMoths with concentrated attacks. While durable and stable, the FireMoth’s large wingspan hampered its ability to avoid concentrated fire. Frustrated by the mounting losses inflicted on the FireMoths, OrionBlu enlisted Cerberus Systems to create a new cruiser killer to replace the FireMoth. In the dossier submitted by OrionBlu to Cerberus, OrionBlu requested a ship with the weapons capability of a FireMoth combined with the elusiveness of a Blue Jacket. The ultimate solution was a blending of the cockpit and fire power of the FireMoth with an engine and wing design similar to the Blue Jacket. While officially named the LL 302 “Hornet”, the ship quickly earned the nickname “Fire Jacket” due to the blend of the two designs. The Hornet featured a similar two person cockpit to the FireMoth, but changed the seating configuration so both the pilot and gunner faced forward. The cockpit was also set at an incline to allow both crewmen to see forward without obstruction. This configuration also allowed manual aiming of forward blasters and emergency piloting from the gunner’s position. The Hornet was also the first Cerberus Systems craft to feature automated rear-facing defense weaponry, though the undercarriage mount made the weapon only effective from attacks from directly behind or below. The Hornet was not as powerful as a FireMoth nor as maneuverable as a Blue Jacket resulting in mixed reviews from pilots. Due to the mixed reaction, the Hornet was not a full replacement for the existing FireMoths, only replacing destroyed crafts while FireMoths still in service were not phased out nor reassigned to non-combat duties but they were instead retrofitted with additional shielding and external, wing mounted maneuvering thrusters to compensate for their perceive lack of maneuverability.

Either is fine so long as the size restriction is met and there is a rider of some sort. -
I put it there?

I'd love to see it in the studio and the digital version. Very large part indeed. -
Agreed, it is indeed very cute.

Sweet build. I love how there are so many colors yet they all still work together.

Looks like we may be looking to the sea soon in Historica! The port and ships are fantastic, and if the Spire crushes all of Historica, fleeing our continent for more safe harbors like this may be the only choice left! Awesome Ecc! -

You can use LDD I suppose, but you'll score more points with the judges if you build in real brick for sure. In GoH we have generally not enforced the LEGO parts only rule and we have allowed 3rd party accessories and foliage but generally not clone brands. As for making yourself King- read through this thread for your answer. Your character could become king, but that does not mean you personally would garner any additional power. I real do think such a choice is the wrong approach, but do what suits you. -

The best story will be decided by popular vote, not by the judges. This means a story about just your character may not garner the support of the masses and won't became lore. Best build/stories by judge vote will earn the physical prizes in category C. We reserve the right to make a correction if there seems to be vote fixing or something unsavory going on. Historica is as much yours as it is the guil leaders. We obviously need a little structure to keep stories and threads consistent and prevent someone from killing off everyone to live alone on Historica as King, but we also need to give you guys opportunities to shape the world in seismic ways as well at times. We left a lot of threads to help give you guys a jumping point, but we can't think of everything, so now it's your turn. Again, all of Historica will have a voice in the vote, so make sure you write something compelling that people will want to vote for. The leaders will adjust if there is something clearly not in the best interest of Historica going on in the vote, but we don't anticipate such issues. -

All in one thread- you may include whatever characters you like, but keep in mind it needs the votes to become cannon so including characters other than your own will generally help. Want to kill Raavage? Good luck- but totally up to you. I wouldn't kill off another GoH member's character- but Raavage is really a more general figure, not anyone's character, so kill him off if it makes sense! -
Cool MOC. I can see the Cesbricks sloppy stone influence in there for sure. If you like Cesbricks, then be sure to check out Legonardo and Derfel Cadarn's later works too.
