There was so I've merged them. As for the subject, I'm not sure. But I do think we need a new horse; the old looks too square now compared to recent animals.

Happy Birthday! Those cakes are making me hungry...
-
I wouldn't be for this. It would a lot of work keeping all the "recruits" organised and it would probably be just easier to do it ourselves. My advice is just be a good EB member and have fun, and you never know, you might end up as staff anyway! (I never planned on being staff...) Indeed; KimT's powers should not be under-estimated!

I hope you don't mean this!

THE OLD Official Eurobricks Straightshooters List
Siegfried replied to The Middleman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Wow! A lot of new additions to the list. Updated! -
Yes sir.

Sorry, but the 6966 Mini Jedi Starfighter prizes haven't been sent yet as the giver has been busy. They should be sent next week. So please no more PMs on this for at least a week...

Does your Power Function smell bad?
Siegfried replied to Sergey K.'s topic in General LEGO Discussion
Err.... no. I even just checked. Even so, I'm pretty sure these parts are not made by TLG so it's possible that your batch did.... -
The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #8
Siegfried replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Great episode! I like the frog blender joke reference... I'd forgotten all about that! The effects were rather stunning; I was impressed with the ghost effect, but things just got better. (I didn't like the weekly format...) I think Hinckley is making fun of me; several times I've lamented that I can't wear hats easily, change my face, fit in a small car.... -
...and after an hour of searching I might note though that in an interview in Brick Journal he said; Implying he had only one other planned at the time. (I wonder if "market" was a joke...) I was seeing it coming with a truck. Were you? That would be very nice. (From what I've heard though the last of the new windows will be a 2 wide-3 high one to replace the train window. )
-
I thought a bank was the plan... but I can't remember where I heard that. I can't see a firehouse happening unless it was at a higher price point, but I'd like to see it. My preferred idea would ba a LEGO store! But there are other options; Libary/bookstore City Hall (My bets are on this) Marina (2 story building with dock!) Train station Post office

For half a second I thought this was the full size set! (I prefer this to the Mini 928. )
-
Thanks for yet another great review! Ignoring the price issue, I voted Average. (It would have been poor otherwise.) The lack of sails makes the whole thing a bit silly. A solar sailer transport is a silly concept as it is, but a solar sailer without sails.... Seriously; I wanted sails! Moving on, I'd love the Dooku but I've already bought the AAT for Yoda... (Hovering tanks... that's almost as silly as a solar sailer transport. OK. I'll shut up now. )

I'm pretty sure it's another fairing. This is your last warning Mr Hinckley. One more pointless off-topic post and it's the chamber for you! Happy?
-
Very nice; this could be my chance to "get" this set!
-
....and a Happy Birthday from me as well!
-
I've discussed this with Mr Hinckley and it's being re-opened. But please no more agressive debating of opinions. If someone says something that is offensive to you then either ignore it or bother the staff. LEGO is supposed to be for fun so if you're getting stressed by it then maybe LEGO isn't for you...

Inteface issues aside, I think it would struggle. It has only 128 MB of RAM after all. If you look at the LDD specs; Minimum System Requirements for PC PC: RAM: 256 MB Hard Disk Space: 100 MB Minimum System Requirements for Mac RAM: 512 MB Hard Disk Space: 100 MB Note that the memory requirement increases. I bet that the Mac version is a rough port and thus any iPhone version would be done the same way. I wouldn't hold your breath on this one.

 I claim that one!

I thought it was pretty clear; in 2006 they had server issues, so they came here for a while until the problems were solved. Unless you want to start a conversation about file servers I'm a bit confused why you ask. Hardly interesting stuff IMHO...

Is there line to be drawn when making MOCs?
Siegfried replied to Derek's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't admire either; in fact Pirates were one of the themes that caused my Dark Ages! (The other big reason was the newer faces, but that's another story...) I've never liked the "Treasure Hunting Pirates" fantasy, even as a kid. On the other hand, since the "Treasure Hunting Pirates" concept is a fantasy, it could be argued that they aren't real and are little different to trolls and elves... But I don't care what people make; if I don't like something (realistic or not, offensive or not) I tend to just ignore it. The closest I've ever come to making an offensive MOC is a fake WWII German airplane! -
Is there line to be drawn when making MOCs?
Siegfried replied to Derek's topic in General LEGO Discussion
As examples go, this one seems harmless to me. Humans (including me ) seem attracted in violence, conflict and disaster and thus reality can be used for inspiration for MOCs. Even so, I prefer to keep reality out of LEGO; it isn't that hard to make up your own stories and avoid offence. -
Happy Birthday! Hope to "see" you around!

That's stunning work! I do have one question; where's the Wave Motion Gun gun up front? Am I missing it, or is this a version that doesn't have it?
