  1. That image is freaky; take a second look at the navel...
  2. We already have a topic for this exact purpose.... (It's even pinned.)
  3. Wow! That is just stunning. It still retains the look of the original too.
  4. I think this is the best Death Star review yet! Thanks especially for the elevator shaft shot. Hopefully mine arrives next week...
  5. Happy Birthday guys! It looks like we're getting the presents!
  6. Thanks! I'll have to get some.
  7. Possibly. The $5 Paypal fee is insane; it doesn't cost that much and I personally think PayPal is a good deal. Can you demand a receipt?
  8. True, but there are more pieces in modern sets, and the older sets were presented differently too. When I was a boy; this set... ...seemed off the scale huge, but it was only 572 pieces. That's an average set these days. The 8285 Tow Truck with 1877 pieces all tossed in random bags was a nightmare to assemble. But thanks for your opinion.
  9. TLG seem to be reducing the number of sets that have numbered and sorted bags. I find that for sets with over 500 pieces, unsorted sets can be frustrating to build. My last two large Technic sets (the Tow Truck and the Off Roader) were unsorted so it took a while to assemble them, but the 8421 Crane was nicely bagged. Even the recent AT-TE and the RGS weren't. However, at the moment I am assembling 8635 Agents Mobile Command Center and to my surprise it was sorted. Thus I'm almost finished building it. (It's a great set too!) On the assumption that this is a cost cutting measure, I'm wondering what people would be prepared to pay for a set that was sorted. I'd pay around 5% extra without too much annoyance, but beyond that would seem excessive to me. To save people the maths, in USD the price increases for the 7675 AT-TE would be; 0% $89.99 5% $94.49 10% $98.99 15% $103.49 20% $107.99 Anyone have any idea what it does cost TLG to pre-sort sets?
  10. I want this set but I've kind of blown my budget for LEGO... I especially love how neatly the battery box fits in. Thanks for the review. EDIT: Somebody rated this set as poor....

My wife works with chicken distributer so we buy cheap chicken all the time. My favourite is the home-style kebabs.
  12. Welcome to Eurobricks! (I deleted your double topic. )
  13. I have, and love the Bulldozer, but I have yet to buy the excavator. (I bought the Off Roader instead. ) I look forward to hearing what you think of it.
  14. Happy Bithday Mister Ambassador...!
  15. Do the holes align if used with technic beams?
  16. Very cool idea! I've been meaning to try out using a motor as a generator for a while... but I've always been concerned that it might damage it. This almost belongs in Technic... but the ships pretty cool too! Great work.
  17. Yes. I think I'll re-name this topic so we can have a general wishing well!
  18. ...furthermore this forum is for licensed lines...not potential lines. I don't believe it either and I don't see how it would work.
  19. Yes. This question will not be answered again. No. You can use modern figures if they don't look out of place, but (for example) castle ones would fit in better and shouldn't be too hard to find. Not a problem. I can't see any reason why not...
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. I can't see any reason to. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong. Providing this doesn't get to personal or offensive it isn't doing any harm. If anything it's become a "why I like Fabuland" topic. (I wouldn't mind some Znap actually! )
  22. I recently bought a Sony H50 which I am very happy with. As an example pic, this un-edited picture was taken without flash or extra lights. My recent AT-TE mod was without flash or lights too. It's a wonderful camera. You do seem a bit confused about a few things; Image size My camera takes images of roughly 2500x3500 and I just crop and resize them. It isn't that hard and there are many free programs (I use FastStone) that do a great job. Most new cameras will put out images greater than 2000 pixels and this is a good thing. Flash Don't use it for LEGO. Ever. It give uneven brightness, reflection and often distorts colours. Go outside, open a window, use mirrors or lights... anything but a flash. Kodak Easyshare That's a type, not a camera. Which one is it? Knowing this would make advising a replacement easier. To be honest, it's possible that the problem is you, not your camera. My last camera was 8 years old and it did me just fine until the lens started jamming....
  23. Actually actually yes! This contest idea was first considered last year...
  24. She's off to a great start! Thanks for the update. (Is she going to post a review?)
