Very cool and very smart! I have one of those bikes too so I think I might be stealing that design! Not a prob. I think Coll would beat me up if I went crusing with you anyway!
-
Depends on the size, what bricks it uses... and if I am happy with it or not! Some last a day, some last a few months, others have lasted a few years. I plan to make a large MOC soon so it could be the death of several sets and/or MOCs. My ship Staunch is still around as it doesn't use much parts that are in demand, Impartial is still around as I like it (it's due to go into refit soon though) and my ship Strife died after a few months as while I liked it, too many good pieces went into it. (If you want a poll PM me and I'll do it for you. )

Siegfried replied to The Middleman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
He's fast! Updated. That he does! Updated as well. -
For those that can read Czech, there is an impulse contest going on at www.kostky.org run by our member Kanal-K1 . It seems to be already in voting though...

Lego Factory Heading in Castle's Direction?
Siegfried replied to concreteasflesh's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It's old news so I merged your topic. *sweet* -
Surprising but good interview... and I love the set piece. I wouldn't mind hearing the rest of that joke though... *tongue*

Welcome to Eurobricks! Have fun. Gee, it looks like I'm getting behind in my self promotion. *cry_sad*

Cutlass to foreshadow a return of the Pirate Theme?
Siegfried replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Pirates
Ratios, but I was wrong. As it happens I opened that page an hour before on another computer so I have the real numbers; Yes [ 9 ] [34.62%] No [ 10 ] [38.46%] Dunno [ 7 ] [26.92%] Total Votes: 26 -
Cutlass to foreshadow a return of the Pirate Theme?
Siegfried replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Pirates
It's OK. The options were Yes, No, Dunno and the vote was roughly 40:50:10 but I have a good enough answer already. All I have to do now is wait and hope. A castle themed ship with a real bow would be good enough for me... -
Happy birthday to you both! Indeed. I was learning how to program in machine language before he was even born! *laugh*

Cutlass to foreshadow a return of the Pirate Theme?
Siegfried replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Pirates
Thanks everyone for your opinions. Call me argumentive, but I don't think the Musket ever went out of production. In recent years it was only unused in 2003 and 2005. But as you say, the ship midsection was another recent return, but I think that was a new mold as well. (The fact that they have used the bow and middle in two other sets but still refuse to bring back the old bow and stern are proof enough for me. Due to the colour it couldn't be old parts either.) Well, at least I made you happy. -
Oh this is great! *wub* Thanks Whung.... ...and thank you aayla-secura! Oddly I was 90% sure that it was going to be a bust like Darth Maul. *blush* This is much better! Well they aren't UCS but both are great sets! *wub*

Cutlass to foreshadow a return of the Pirate Theme?
Siegfried replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Pirates
Isn't that the same meaning as the current title? How do you read it? Yay! Mindless positivity! :-P Well Fabuland parts have been recycled a lot; but I don't see that as meaning much. But there is no reason why they had to use the cutlass, or even include a sword at all. But sadly I'm probably wrong... I was just curious what others thought. -
Cutlass to foreshadow a return of the Pirate Theme?
Siegfried replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Pirates
..errr... what do you mean by that? I'm saying that they might have re-made the mold; according to the instructions it comes with two. Actually I was. The monkey is a main character and the part was used only four years ago. -
In "Bridge Walker vs White Lightning" the spear guns were used on Bridge Walkers head. At the time I though it was just an interesting part choice, but soon after Aqua Raiders turned up. Now one of the new Indy sets is using the old cutlass, a part that hasn't been used for six years. Does this mean that Pirates are coming back? 8-|

To be honest, even I am tempted by these sets occasionally. But since I don't trust eBay I find it easy to ignore the urges! :-D I really would love a large (non-viking non-4+) ship hull. Thanks for the review. *sweet*

Is anybody experiencing technical issues with the Pirate Forum?
Siegfried replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'm having no problems but I use Opera, not Firefox. -
That's sick man! Who would be so silly to hire The Riddler as a butler anyway? :-D (...and it's in the wrong forum. ;-) )

Thanks for the review. *sweet* For it's size and parts count this is a remarkably featured set. I don't think I've never seen the alternate model before. Personally I prefer 8421 because I think it looks much better and I love the six wheel steering. I also love the three segment boom and the transmission; they fit it all in so neatly. I realise that it has trouble even holding up itself, but ultimately it doesn't matter as it's not like you are really going to construction work with it. What bothers me more about 8421 is the design change in the boom from chainlinks to strings. I would try to mod mine but all I have is the prototype picture to base it on... and I don't have enough links anyway! :-P Indeed! I have been very busy the last few months and I kept meaning to reply... At last I managed to find the time to reply today. Yes, that really sucks. Somebody (I haven't got the time to look :-$) on Brickshelf has made a quite good alternate. Lego have been a bit inconsistant with alternate models lately. The recent tow truck had a good one; I even made both!

Great work! *sweet* I feel oddly excited. What! How dare you? Their are laws against that kind of comment; trolls deserve equal rights. Besides, due to their tougher skin trolls generally have firm perky breasts for most of their lives.
-
Very nice! *wub* For their size it is remarkable clear as to what they are. The Cobra in particular is a hard shape to do but you've done a great job. Your bugs are cool too! Thanks for posting. *sweet* Yes, and oddly it doesn't bother me. I personally wouldn't do it, but I understand why you make your own. Fixed. You probably should have posted these in a new topic as many will probably miss them. (It also can be seen as a bit rude...)

Actually I did! I used This which ran the code instead of just showing it. You used "Code" I used "codebox"... :-$ I thought it was broken but I just pressed the wrong button. :-$
