  1. That's great news!
  2. I'd buy that for another female head! *wub* Not a chance. It isn't available in Australia... ;-)
  3. Licensed Prize: Adventurer - Johnny Thunder Entries:
  4. History, Adventure and Pirates Prize: The Crazy LEGO King (name by copmike :-D ) Entries:
  5. City and Space Prize: Paradisa Speedboat Entries:
  6. Well it's time to vote for the best of each section in the Build your own Impulse Set competition! I was very pleased how this turned out, especially how we had some first timers... and some old timers... enter. X-D Thanks everyone; this contest had 80 entries, which I think is a record for a Eurobricks contest. If it wasn't for the help of imperialshadows I would have been organizing this poll for about a week! *sing* Thanks again imperialshadows! *sweet* The vote will last for about a week (depending on how close the results are) and the top 5 of each section will then go in a draw for the grand prize of my love! Remember, that in addition to the grand prize, copmike has been generous to offer a prize to the section winners. *sweet* So what are the prizes? Well what could be more appropriate than classic impulse sets? :-D (Postage will be provided by copmike as well.) The set for each section are at the top of the thumbnail list. When voting please remember that people were allowed to enter once per section so be sure that you are voting for the right entry! Please remember also that baseplates were an illegal part in this competition, so please don't give entries any bonuses for including one; try to ignore the piece... *wacko* On the subject of rules, the full rules are here, but as a quick re-cap, the goal was to build a custom impulse set of any theme, including old and custom ones, using 27 pieces plus a Lego man. Well that's enough ranting from me; on with the entries! (Click the thumbnail if you want to see the rest of the pictures.)
  7. Time's up! The poll should be up in about an hour... *sing* Thanks again imperialshadows for all of your help. *sweet* Indeed! imperialshadows I'm doing his thumnail now. That should be the last. I checked over the entires and all seems to be OK...
  8. Time's up! The poll should be up in about an hour... *sing*
  9. Thanks for the review. *sweet* I love these sets... but buying them will depend on the Australian price. Just to be a nag, you really need to reduce the picture size. Remember that whie the pictures are resized by the forum software, this is done browser side so it isn't as useful as it would seem. The full picture is still loaded, just the same as Brickshelf. I'm surprised you feel that way. I think these sets are great and I love how they are no where near as <insert that tiresome argument> as I feared.
  10. ...yes. I might add this to the rules next time. Bother me later TT and I'll re-open it for you once the voting is over. ;-)
  11. One hour to go! If anyone changes an entry in the next hour please say so. I think this could be a record. I'll have to check after; Whack a fig and Kill Jar Jar were very popular.
  12. There still seems to be some confusion. At this time, there is 10 hours to go.
  13. Not a problem. So how did it happen? Will it be in the cast long?
  14. Assassins Creed... and Final Fantasy X (for the 5th time :-D ) I've got that but have been too busy to play it much. (I didn't think much of FFXII though; I thought the story was a bit weak.)
  15. Don't worry. In the morning I will update any changed entries and add any new ones. Thanks very much for re-doing your entry. It's a shame your cool box was lost though. :'-)
  16. So do I! X-D I made a real one years ago... but it died. :'-(
  17. 74 Yes. Sinner Computing has been a licensed brand for about 3 years. The store is here.
  18. History, Adventure and Pirates Licensed
  19. I'm done! I've gone an hour over time, but it had to be done. If it wasn't for imperialshadows it would have taken me another 2 days! *wacko* Below is the completed City and Space list. Please check this list, as well as the two done by my deputy imperialshadows (re-posted below) to be sure that your entries are on the list. Since I am 80% done now (there's still the poll to make) it's time to declare the closing time for entries. I said earlier that I would give between 6 and 18 hour notice, which by my time 6 hours would be 11pm.... Thus the most practical time for me to close the contest for entries would be in 19 hours. You have until then. Enjoy! *sweet* City and Space
  20. Make sure that you are logging in from www.eurobricks.com, not an IP address. That was causing my troubles at first. I'd rather support Bill than Steve. At least Bill is honest enough to not claim "I have a $1 salary". :-|
  21. Thanks imperialshadows for all of your help. *sweet* I'll be spending the next hour thumbnailing... hopefully it's enough time! :-D In other words you still about a day.One thing that I should have made more clear is that it's fair to count parts that come joined (like flowers and coins) as one piece. I didn't in my entry.... but I was wrong. :-$
  22. Please note everyone; the contest is NOT closed for entries. Me and the ever helpful imperialshadows are just trying to get ahead. You have at least 12 hours until entries close, and possibly 36 depending on how many show interest.
  23. Thanks! *sweet* I'll finish my lot tomorrow... :-$
  24. Yes. (I would have picked the bike too!)
