No, this wouldn't bother me at all. Most of my sets I buy to admire and play with for a while, and then I build something else. It's a big world out there and somebody always has something before you. I'm happy when someone that I know has something before me (not often sad to say) as I can make a more informed purchase decision. I hope you don't feel this way when you start dating. ;-) Banned? *wacko* Errr.... why? Hate? I though you were...
-
Nah, she's cool with it. Besides, Lego is too painful to take to bed. ;-) No problems for me. Does that mean you'll take a photo with 2 middle floors? :'-)
-
Wow! I'll be sure to keep it a secret!
-
Since it's a modified Y-Wing, I'll move it to Star Wars. ;-)
-
Pippi Longstocking! *wub* Wahoo! The King is dead! Long live the Queen!
-
Bit vague on the rules.... :-P I'll try to enter this one; I was forced to skip the last contest after all :'-(
-
It's the moment of truth; who wins my love! :-D This poll has top five entries of each theme. Please note that some members have two entries, and xwingyoda has 3 finalist entries! These members still have only one vote option to avoid dividing their votes. Thus they should have a greater chance of winning... but it's up to you! X-D Who wins the Build your own Impulse set contest?

So you would see the Lego sarlacc in 6210 as a minifig?
-
My distinction is if a part has been made for the purpose then they are a mini-fig. Thus astromechs are mini-figs, but Gonk droids and the B'Omarr Monks are not.

New castle dwarves v trolls 'giant chess set' out!
Siegfried replied to goggleson's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Please look harder in future. It's being discussed here and you can pre-order it here. -
Voting is over! Winners have been announced here.
-
....and the winners are.... City and Space goes to History, Adventure and Pirates goes to Licensed goes to Congrates to KhoRne, SupremeCommmanderGrievous and Batbrick. Please PM your addresses to copmike so he can send you your prizes. If for any reason you cannot do this please tell me and the prize can go to the second place winner. (I will set up the Grand Final Poll in a few days; I'm a bit busy today.) Thanks copmike for the prizes, everyone for entering and everyone else for voting! *sweet* (No more thanks go out to imperialshadows for his help; he's got enough already! >:-) )

Don't use the Report button for this purpose! You have just bothered the entire staff when you could have just bothered one! I have moved it for you though. Please just ask one of us next time. It probably won't be pinned though. When we add a "Other Themes" index we can pin that and add your index to it...

I agree Sne. I was holding off as I was hoping it would just die off and it looked like it was a few hours ago... but looks like could be waiting a while now. :-/

My wife. I wanted her to do it, but she thought it would be funnier if I did it! X-D On topic, I just ordered the 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer and some squid ammo off S@H. For my daughter I ordered 7583 Playful Puppy and 7586 Sunshine Home. I'm sure she wont mind if I borrow some pieces from time to time... X-D

Well the voting time is almost over and I will probably call it tomorrow. At this stage KhoRne seems to be the clear winner of City and Space, SupremeCommmanderGrievous seems to be the close winner of History, Adventure and Pirates and Batbrick seems to be the clear winner of Licensed. But there is still another day! As for my votes... City and Space: Hinckley for making copmike looks so beautiful! Ones that came close were KhoRne, PaulC and xwingyoda. History, Adventure and Pirates: xwingyoda for his wonderfully un-PC lovely! Ones that came close were LegoLyons and Batbrick Licensed: xwingyoda for his really annoying but oddly desirable set! Ones that came close were Batbrick, copmike and imperialshadows. Thanks to everyone for the thanks! X-D However, I don't deseve full credit; the idea initially came from Piranha in the New Contest topic. After discussions with staff, I decided that it would work better if it was open theme instead of just Castle... and I think I was right. So keep the ideas coming; we do listen! *sweet*

I'd really appreciate it if you built three of the middle floor and posted some photos. I'm curious how it looks, front and back. To me it seems that it would work well... but I have only one. I have noticed though that you can remove the middle floor and have just the top and bottom.

Official Speed Racer Licensed Product in 2008

Australians! I have spotted the two smaller speed racer sets in Toyworld for $30 AUD, which is the price that I hoped for! *sweet* -
My Green Grocer arrived a few days ago and I have been busy spending some quality time with it....
-
Yes it arrived the same day that yours did! *sweet* It's such a beautiful set and I have been spending some quality time with it.

Great work! Since it has such an odd shape it's quite hard to do at that scale. It's a shame that the series didn't last long enough to become as expanded as Star Wars or Star Trek is as there are so few FireFly MOCs to do. Next you should do Serenity at the same scale... >:-)
