After much thought, I voted for alex54. What could be more appropriate for his sig-fig? :-D It also fits in with entry guideline number 6; "be as creative as you want-your house can be a vehicle-a tree-a pumpkin, whatever!" ;-)

It's a scary world in the mind of Exobuilder! :-D Why would someone want Hinckley? *wacko* Why does your roof vanish in frame 54? 8-

New TECHNIC sets for 2008
Siegfried replied to Conchas's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'd agree with you if you said at the top something like; But you didn't do that. Instead you have all their photos hosted on Brickshelf under your name, paraphrase their article and then only at the bottom mention in small type where you found it all. Why would anyone bother going to their site? I bet many people think that they are your photos and that you have first hand information. -
Does this always happen when you refresh a page? I can't replicate it on IE 7. The bottom line is that Microsoft say it is a bug, so I don't see why we should be fixing it...

CONTEST: Build the mystery Exo-Force promo 3872 Robo Chopper
Siegfried replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Since the entry by Toa_Of_Justice is similar to mine there is not reason to keep mine secret anymore. *sweet* Yes. It is. Sorry imperialshadows, I forgot to answer that question. Any robot body will do though. The yellow tail I haven't got many of either; I stole mine from a Aqua Raiders set. the slope piece can be replaced with any similar slope piece with no studs on top. You must have one of those... The axles are 3 and 6. Dunno. Both of those parts are central to the set. Take those away and it will look completely different. I'll get back to you... If there are a shortage of entries then yes! X-D -

Well, since the entry by Toa_Of_Justice is very similar to mine I might as well post it! -
How much is a Trans-pink 2x2 brick worth?
Siegfried replied to Lt. Veers's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Thanks copmike. *sweet* Seeing this question is answered I will close the topic. -
Thanks for your comments. *sweet* I thought so too. The car really is too heavy and has the added burden of the engine block. :-D I have no plans to try to make it faster, but I might try and make the steering slower. Sadly you are right; Tifa doesn't actually fit in her car. :'-( I suspect that she is slightly larger than scale, and that the seats are too high. I did consider modifying the car so she would fit better but my brain turned back on at the last minute. :-P I look forward to the results. The motor are powerful and flexible, and the IR sensor is surprisingly good. *wub* (By the way, I fixed your profile. I noticed that you had your homepage set as Brickshelfs login screen...)

New TECHNIC sets for 2008
Siegfried replied to Conchas's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well I've made my negative rant about site promotion so I have nothing bad left to say. :-D I just wanted to clear the air and make my stances clear. Desires of a unified Lego community aside, I happen to like several of your blog entries (I found your PF/9V conversion cable very informative) so please don't take any of this personal. You like Technic sets after all so we should be getting on like a house on fire! :-D I apologise if I have come off as being rude. -

CONTEST: Build the mystery Exo-Force promo 3872 Robo Chopper
Siegfried replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
That's what I thought, but DJ Force felt otherwise. We'll have to ask him when he turns up. >:-) I have made somthing with those parts and I actually like it! :-D Yes. Errr.... was that a question? I will clarify the rules, just for you! X-D -
CONTEST: Build the mystery Exo-Force promo 3872 Robo Chopper
Siegfried posted a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Entries for the Build the mystery Exo-Force promo 3872 Robo Chopper contest go here. I have made my entry already to prove to myself that it is possible... but I have not posted it here yet. This is because; I don't want to inspire anyone! I don't want to prevent someone making a MOC just the same. (Remember only one of each design is allowed!) I am scared of rejection. :'-( I will post mine close to the deadline. Remember keep the discussion to the main topic. All non-entires will be deleted. Have fun! -
CONTEST: Build the mystery Exo-Force promo 3872 Robo Chopper
Siegfried posted a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
DJ Force the legendary Topic Killer while doing some investigating discovered a mystery Exo-Force promo set. Due to the wonders of the replacement parts page on S@H he learnt what was in it... but how the set actually looks still eludes him. So let's guess! :-D According to DJ Force and Lego, this is the parts list; Of these some parts are used twice. Oddly, I have marked those with a "2". Rules of this contest are: You must make a Robo Chopper. This does not mean that it needs to have a rotating blade, it just needs something that can be labelled as one. EDIT: imperialshadows accidently reminded me that some see a "Chopper" as a motorbike. I see a "Chopper" as a helicopter. You can see it as what ever you want... providing it is a Robo Chopper! You must use all of the parts, including the doubles. If you can't find a use for one then you can leave it out. You must say if you do this. No extra parts are allowed. Correct colours are preferred, but not required. When building, think Lego. That is don't use any methods that Lego doesn't use. The goal here is to guess what the set is supposed to look like. Only three pictures are allowed per entry. :-D Digital entries are allowed. If anyone makes a duplicate MOC the second will be an invalid entry. By duplicate I mean exact. Entries must be in by February 14th 21st. Your entry can be altered as many times as you like up until that time. Entries are posted here. Voting: There will be two votes. The first, for the "Best MOC". This will determine who wins. The second, for "Most Accurate", is just to see if we at Eurobricks can guess what Lego will do. Prize: Nothing except the warm feeling inside that you just may have what it takes to be a Lego designer. X-D -
Hmmm.... I'll move this to community. ;-)

Pirelli's Miracle Elixir Wagon: The Contest
Siegfried replied to SirNadroj's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Contest?!!!!! Don't you know that we schedule contests now?!!!!! >:-( I'm close this and then I'll.....!!!!!! OK, so I'm not as funny as I think I am. :-$ Back to the MOC, it looks really beautiful and the decals work great, but I can't say much else as I haven't seen the movie. You're doing a good job of promoting Sweeney Todd. :-D -
How long will the UCS Falcon be up for sale?
Siegfried replied to MiniGreavy's topic in LEGO Star Wars
My guess is that it will replace the ISD and be around for about five years.
