    While patrolling the waters around their new island, Isla del Diablo, a band of pirates caught sight of a Corrington party looking for more land. The pirates gave chase to the Corrington boat on which was the famous Captain Stasch. He had successfully sailed through many storms, won many battles at sea, and even discovered new flora and fauna. He was known to be fearless, brave, and strong. The other two men in his boat however, had none of these qualities. And the first shot from the pirates they flung themselves overboard! Captain Stasch had no recourse but to surrender himself to the nefarious pirates.

    With the new found islands being invaded by Oleon, Corrington, and Eslandola en mass, a small group of a pirates settled on Isla del Diablo and starting preparing defenses to ensure no one else could lay claim to what was theirs. Built on the edge of the sand, close enough to shelter of the trees but also within view of the beaches. the pirate's fort was perfectly located.

    Previously: Recruiting at Marco's This Is Not the Wealthy Housing of Rassilon Falling Out with Foxx Cantu's Fort in Rassilon Freddy's Trained Chickens The Viper Jail Break! Cantu's House Even a Pirate Has a Sweet Tooth La Oleon Captain's Cabin Freddy was at the fruit store with his farmer friend, Charles. He had been successful in finding treasure and had come home with some gold in his pockets. He was trying to decide what he should be that would bring in the most profit. He hadn't had much success with animals, so he was trying for something less tasty to sharks. Freddy was trying to listen to Charles over the ruckus being caused by a drunk pirate. Cantu was searching without much success for the thief who had robbed him. OoC: I'm licensing this as a "Commerce" building since it's more a market place than a shop.

Cantu's House La Oleon "As you know Sinbad," Li Fang was saying, "I have sent a number of the crew over to La Oleon with Ching Shih which leaves some opportunities for advancement among the crew still aboard The Viper." Sinbad was thankful he had not been among those commissioned to help crew their new ship, La Oleon. He had nothing against the new addition, but he felt a certain attachment to The Viper since it had been his first ship to serve on. He still wasn't sure he was in line with Li's methods, but he was much happier being a free man as a pirate than an over taxed, over worked man amongst the Oleonaders. "I've talked with some of the crew and they all agree that it is time you moved up from deck hand to full crew member" Li continued. "As long as you continue to give me your loyalty and hard work, I will make sure you are always taken care of among this crew Sinbad." Sinbad was thankful to be given this promotion. It was nice to no longer be on the bottom of the food chain.

    This is a Class 3A ship. She is captained by Ching Shih. Previously: Recruiting at Marco's This Is Not the Wealthy Housing of Rassilon Falling Out with Foxx Cantu's Fort in Rassilon The Viper Jail Break! Cantu's House While Cantu was being robbed, Li Fang and his crew of miscreants were successfully defending a pirate convoy against the nefarious wiles of an Oleon privateer. The result was that Li Fang succeeded as a captain where his father had failed. He led his crew in the successful capture of a prize! The La Oleon was quite the prize. Some of the crew from The Viper switched ships to help bring it into port at Rassilon. In port more crew were hired to help man the new ship. Even though she was painted in Oleon's favorite blue, she flew the black proudly showing her new ownership. OoC: Please note that I did "recycle" much of my last ship to build this one. I changed the sloping on the sides of the hull, swapped the dark red tiles for blue, and changed the masts. As this was a ship I captured and not a "new" boat, I hope no one minds that I went this route. I don't plan on making this a habit, but with little time to build this month, I thought this would be an acceptable shortcut.

    I love your brown cross with the snake built into the wall, the hands for food for the pigs, and the shark at the fishery! Great work on this build!

    Very nice build, very nice story! I would suggest replacing your background with some newer pieces of poster-board or two to get rid of the wrinkles. And maybe add another light or two. Overall your pictures look okay, but those things could help make it better.

    You can always have your character working with troopers of higher ranks in your builds. That gives you the chance to use the minifigs, but still tell the story of how your character rose in rank.

Spaceman Spiff Black Hair, the Pirate Merry Men Adventures (Where There's Lava There's Water) Car On A Plate Too Girly Underwater Junk Aggressive Wildlife The Truth Secretary, where is Captain Kirk? He's exploring the anemone fields on the ocean floor of Sorn Sir. Well see if he can help me out in digging up some more information on the Zoids. I'm not sure I trust everything the Zards are telling me.

    So if I MOC my captured ship, La Oleon, can I count it for Cat B if I don't register it as a freebuild?

    Certainly one of my favorites so far! I love that there is an interior! I think the front most propellers look a little stubby, but other than that I think it's beautiful!
