  1. @PreVizsla @Balrogofmorgoth @Mandalorianknight @Hhalcyon Let's be civil about the army building topic. You can share your opinions without bashing other users.
  2. See the previous tales: Wyndor's Saga: Chapter 4 -Grevling Manor -House Raising Party -Survival -Grevling Manor Great Hall -Alistair's Forest Lair -Farmer Gyles Mill -Mitgardian Watchtower of Treacleheim -Gates of Treacleheim -Alliance at Autumn Arbor -Village of Skaaldoogh Alistair continued his raids on the Mitgardian people. A brave warrior seeking to protect his jarl tried to hold off the fierce minotaur. But Alistair's rage was too much for this poor soul. So this was a chance for me to practice miniland scale and a few new tree types. Just wanted to throw a few things out there and see what worked. Let me know your opinions.
  3. Eventually. You're fine to keep talking about both 2023 and 2024 stuff here for now.
  4. Bunch of parts back in stock including the new fern piece (6411022) and the rounded headlight brick piece from Speed Champions (6424674)
  5. I haven't seen any reliable rumors about the ship yet. The rumors I have seen say "may," "might," and "likely" a lot. Good indicators of a false leak as they can always say they warned everyone that it "might" not have been real. It could be a set, but I'd wait for further confirmation before believing the rumor. Here's a good example of a COMPLETELY FAKE AND FALSE LEAK, "We may be getting a Resistance set next year. It would likely be the Fireball and might include Yeager." Notice how that has zero substance. But it's great clickbait.
  6. It's a matter of degrees. If you look at my first photo you can see that the shadow is too intense. It obscures the actual tan color of the dish. But in the new photo it looks like an over-enlarged desktop icon from Windows 95. The dish doesn't look remotely tan in the new render. Lego could certainly improve on their renders, but they took it too far.
  7. After giving it a few days I still think the changes are for the worse. The renders are grainy, smaller, and less defined. Look at this before And now after Everything looks worse! And you call this orange? It looks so neon!
  8. I'm sorry you have to review the set!
  9. Brickfanatics had a good article about the Chewie-mixel-joint issue. The author of the article is livid, and I think he's right to be so. This isn't the first time Lego has tweaked their photos to make us see something we wanted but that they weren't delivering. @Anio as a Lego ambassador I hope you'll be able to share our comments with TLG somehow. False advertising is not okay. Whether it was lazy or intentional, it's not something TLG should be "getting away with." They are increasing the price of their product. And since they are a high quality toy most of us are willing to accept that. But with that price increase comes an increase in expectations. Vetting your lifestyle photos before they get published is not too much to ask.
  10. Me too. Hopefully it means an update with more parts!
  11. Oh wow, that looks way worse to me. So hard to tell what a piece's true colors are with these weird renders. It was a render before, now it looks like a grainy version that has bad white balance.
  12. Thrawn is never off topic. Seriously though, I'd love to get an updated Thrawn with the correct rank insignia on his torso.
  13. Lego was like, "oh no, everyone hates Chewie. Quick, release the Ahsoka set pics so they forget about it!"
  14. You're not blind. The scores are just running a little late
  15. If there's enough interest I'd certainly be up for running it again. There are some game mechanics I can tweak to make it more dynamic too if we try again.
  16. Sorry for the delay in posting yesterday. The most exciting post is up for the race!
  17. This could be it everyone! Are we about to see a winner? The Klystron Pulsar pushes his engines in an effort to pull ahead. Flying through the steam he fires his blasters and clears the path. Taking advantage of the Pulsar's action the Riot Racer flies through the tunnel in the steam created by the blaster fire. Seeing the other two pods right behind him, Yperio gives it everything he's got trying to keep the lead and pass Maath's pod. But right before the finish line are some wall mounted canons. They open fire on Yperio! His shields seem like they will hold, but then fail! His pod is pouring smoke and this is going to cost him 1 movement. Will he be able to recover enough to finish the race let alone win? And ahead of them all is Maath's pod! Maath's been able to pull into the lead through his quick thinking and heavily shielded pod. Will his strategy help him win today? He's so close to the finish line he can taste the victory! But just beyond the flag he sees one of the track's traps flare to life. Fire is erupting from the walls! Worried his shields won't hold he hesitates just before the final check point! But knowing the victory goes to the bold he pushes forward anyway and passes the finish line intact! We have a winner folks! Maath has won! @SATSOK
  18. I was so ready to be disappointed by the Ghost and so pleasantly surprised by the pictures! I think the underside has too much exposed technic. But overall this looks like a solid set and one I will certainly be getting at some point.
  19. As the racers finish their 2nd lap we see Maath pulling in front. He's been able to avoid most of the track's obstacles so far, will his luck hold out? As he races forward a lava trap is activated on the track! But Maath's quick thinking saves his pod. He shifts all power to the lower shields and glides right over the lava with no damage! Hot on his heals we see Yperio rounding the 2nd corner. And folks, we've just had word that some Rathtars escaped their handlers and climbed into the ducts near the track. Maybe that's why the workers never go the electricity under control? But who cares about that! We are seeing the Rathtars reach their tentacles through and try to grab the pods! Yperio fires his blasters at them. But one of them grabs his left flank! Yperio pours shot after shot into the Rathtar and finally it lets go. But it's going to cost Yperio 2 movement spaces! The Klyston Pulsar is working hard to catch up with the leaders. But as he rounds the first corner he faces a mob of spectators fleeing the Rathtars! Remembering that his blasters didn't help him last time he decides to crank his shields up. Bystanders bounce off his shields left and right, but he manages to fly through unscathed. Hot on his heels the Riot Racer faces the same mob fleeing for their lives! Seeing the Pulsar's strategy work he too cranks his shields and flies through the crowd. We're nearing the end of the race folks! Who's going to win?
  20. Sorry, meant to send you a PM a long time ago. I think your work is fantastic so far. But there's not very much Lego on your stream yet. We try to reserve that tag for builders who prove themselves over time.
  21. Thanks for the name corrections guys. I've fixed the previous posts and added today's race updates!
  22. Finally clear of the rioters, our racers whip around the corner! Looks like the work crews haven't quite gotten this section of the track fixed yet. Word is they joined the rioters instead of finishing their job! But the Pulsar just turns his shields back on and cruises through. The Riot Racer follows suit and races through the electricity storm without any trouble. Maath whips past both racers and turns the final corner before the finish line for the 2nd lap! Steam rises through the vents in the floor making it difficult to see. But with some quick thinking Maath fires his blasters which clears the steam enough for him to make the turn without hitting the wall! Ahead of the Pulsar and Riot Racer but still recovering from the lost time bypassing his fuel line, Yperio pulls in behind Maath. Spikes had been built into the floor to test the racers agility. But Yperio activates his canons and just blows a path through for his pod. And here's where our racers stand:
  23. More very exciting race updates!
  24. Zooming past the electricity the racers continue down the track and past the first checkpoint! The Klyston Pulsar is nearing the first turn of the 2nd lap when angry protestors jump onto the track! Seems some residents of Coachelle Prime are unhappy with the construction of this race course and have decided to violently protest by attacking the racers! The Pulsar shows no empathy towards these beings and opens fire! But it looks like his attacks aren't strong enough to stop the attackers. He grazes the leg of one of them, but the mob fires back with their own rifles causing some damage! This is going to cost the Pulsar 2 movement spaces next round as he repairs his pod! Maath flies through the first checkpoint and sees the protestors jump onto the track. He cranks his shields up and flies through the mob unscathed. In the midst of shots ricocheting off the walls the Riot Racer plows through the mob. He too shows no mercy and turns his guns on the crowd. But his pod was built for speed, not attack and his blasters do no damage! A couple shots land on his pod and he's forced to slow down for repairs. This costs him 2 movement spaces for the next round. It's all pins and needles for the spectators as Yperio enters the fray! He sees an opening through the crowd and cranks his engines. But one of the protestors jumps in front of his pod! Yperio fires and manages to maim the attacker, but not before he sinks a vibroblade into the fuel line! Thrar's racer reacts quickly and manages to bypass the damaged line only costing him 1 movement space next round. Stay tuned for more updates tomorrow!
