And the first stage of the race has begun! The Klyston Pulsar is first out the gate and moves forward 5 spaces! He heads through a dangerous part of the track. Work crews had been trying to secure some power lines, but didn't seal them up as well as they should have before the race began. Now electricity is shooting out sporadically as the racers fly along the track! But the Klyston Pulsar has shields aplenty as isn't even phased by the electricity! Not to be outdone, Maath is hot on the heals of the Pulsar. He also moves forward 5 spaces and easily dodges the electricity. Right behind them is the Riot Racer. Following the strategy of the other racers he charges ahead 5 spots. Electricity surrounds his pod as a particularly nasty discharge occurs. But his shields hold and he continues unscathed. And staying neck and neck with all the other racers Yperio moves 5 spaces. Seems like the work crews discovered their mistake and the electricity seems to be shooting out with less intensity for now. Thrar manages to make it through completely unscathed! What an amazing (though slightly less destructive than our audiences usually like to see) first round! Every racer has focused on speed and has managed to shoot across the course rapidly. Time will tell if their strategies will work!

The big race is about to begin! Today we have 4 racers! First up we have the Klystron Pulsar with its Speed 5, Attack 2 and Defense 5. (Due to winning first place in Cat A this racer gets a 50/50 chance to avoid obstacles). Next up is Maath's Racer with its Speed 5, Attack 3 and Defense 4. (Due to winning second place in Cat A this racer gets a 1/3rd chance to avoid obstacles). After that comes the Riot Racer with its Speed 5, Attack 2 and Defense 5. (Due to too many speed points this racer has been adjusted to have 2 Attack points). And last but not least is Reegor Thrar's pod with Yperio as its racer with its Speed 5, Attack 3 and Defense 4.

Yes, but also helps balance the game a little since the Mercs have the most active players

Just FYI, you can't put more than 5 points in any one stat so I moved 2 points from Speed to Attack.

Yes, for this contest we wanted to give every team more of a chance at reaching P10.

We got the Blacktron torso though. So it's not the Space theme in total. And the 1980s space helmet remakes are all available. So I'm hopeful the space torsos and Pirate pieces will show up eventually.

Scores for all Cat A entries have been posted. The race will commence on July 5th! Scores for Cat B and C will be posted soon.

@SATSOK @Yperio_Bricks We're working on judging the racers right now. As soon as judging is done I'll start the race. Please be patient with us as we just finished judging 79 M4 entries and we're a little tired!

I think it looking like Han's speeder is a good thing! You've got great curves on the racer and color scheme looks very realistic.

Your buildings and doors all feel very Star Wars-y. Great work! And the tiers you built into your MOC give everything a great sense of depth.

Wow, you used that Nexo shield with such an amazing effect! Love the angles, love the yellow stripes, love all the tools... love everything! This might be your best MOC yet.

This is a really sleek racer. I love the purple lighting effects! They add so much character and movement to your MOC.

I really like the brick-built floor you have against the wall using boxes for detail. And your speeder looks fast! Great work!

Alright, pretty sure I responded to everyone who asked for score breakdowns. If I missed you just send me a reminder. We just had our 4th baby so life is a little hectic right now!

Totally normal! As long as it's posted before the deadline were very understanding if the paperwork is a little late

Received an order yesterday. Exactly 5 months to the day after I first ordered them my Lion Knights have finally arrived! From when I first hit "buy" on Jan 20th Lego delayed shipping the order for over 3 months, I moved from the US to France, had to re-place the order because of the move, it got rejected at customs and returned, and I finally placed the order a 3rd time before it arrived in my hands. Not all Lego's fault, but frustrating still the same. Was it worth it? Maybe not. Am I happy to finally have my order? Yes. Yes I am.

A lot of you have messaged me asking for your score breakdowns. I'm working through those requests as I received them, but real-life is a little busy for me right now so please be patient!
