  1. I love it! Great build and great pun at the end!
  2. I really like the white bars coming off the tower. It looks like the veins in the fin of a fish. Abstract, I know, but that's what I first thought and I like the feel that gives.
  3. Alright everyone, I've updated the scores. This is the last push so I'll be trying to keep on top of entries as fast as I can throughout each day. Some of those planets are close to changing hands so get your strategic hats on and keep bricking away!
  4. Love the humor in your story! And yes, what overhang you have is acceptable.
  5. I really like all these microbuilds. Great work!
  6. Thank you Sarah! Yes, it's the storyline that keeps me building more than anything else. I want to see what happens as much as the rest of you! I'm glad you like it Actually, this style of graveyard is very common, just not in the US. I've visited graveyards in France and Brazil and are very similar to what I've built. Many graveyards have no grass at all and have the grave plots raised above ground as I've depicted. Here is an example:
  7. Yes, I believe the freebuild scores will be coming soon.
  8. I like the stone technique you used. The mix of texture bricks and 1x1 round plates works well IMO. I'm sorry to see this character of yours go. I liked the fig combo you used.
  9. Alright everyone! Just a few more days to go before the contest is over! Make your finale entries strategic!
  10. [Natolyth had spent the past few days not interacting with people. He was perfecting his skills of stealth that he was basing off of what he learned about the Drow's method of fighting. He had not spent all the time in his room, but he was fairly certain that no one else had been able to tell when he left or returned. His sneaking about had allowed him to over hear many interesting pieces of information. Today though, he headed to the bar and took a seat, ordering a final drink before he left for Mitgardia again] Natolyth: Thank you for your hospitality Mastor Gabbold, but I must be going now. Mastor Gabbold: Always a pleasure to have a Mitgardian staying with us sir. Perhaps we'll see you again in the future. Natolyth: Perhaps, but for now I am needed back in Dalig Ulv. Master Gabbold: Troubling news from home sir? Natolyth: Nothing specific, no. Just some things I've heard about town that make me think I'm needed more there than here.
  11. You nailed it! I had two of the bigger PAB cups that I padded with those round tiles. Came out to quiet a few hundred (I haven't counted, but I parted out 300 of them to eBay and what's left is many times that amount). Also, I'm glad you got the Dr. Who reference! Thank you all! I wanted something a little different for Wall Phase II and I've been wanting to build a cemetery scene for a long time now. I was so excited when I saw Lego making them in light bley! I went out and bought the Vulture set shortly after it came out just for those wings. I'm glad you all like how the clips turned out. I thought about using horns, but the clips seemed to give it a better feel. It is a little bland, I'll give you that. But most cemeterys are anyway. I tried to add a little color with the olive leaves and the guild colors on the mausoleum. Not much more you can do with a cemetery unless you want to go really whacky.
  12. See the previous tales: Wyndor's Saga: Chapter 1 -What Has Past- Chapter 2 Part 10: A New Home Part 10.1:Blunted Edges Part 10.2: Cramped Spaces Part 10.3: Enthusiastic Worker Part 11.0 Part 11: Mysterious Death Part 12: Dark Meetings Part 13: Warm Yourself Part 14.1: Sisterly Visit Part 14.2: Proud Farmer Part 14.3: Mitgardian Household Part 15: Another Mysterious Death Part 16.1: The Council Meeting Part 16.2: Meeting with Wyndor (made by Glorfindel) Part 16.3: Feud in Teridyan Part 16.4: Great Elk Longhouse (made by Glorfindel) Lief was very glad to have Wyndor out of town for awhile. It meant that Pjeter was too busy with everyday affairs to notice some of Lief’s nocturnal activities. Tonight was especially important to not be seen. It would be rather difficult to explain why he was lurking around the city cemetery this late at night. He opened the gate and winced as it creaked a little. He slipped inside and looked behind himself to make sure he hadn’t been followed. Seeing no one around he whispered, “all clear.” “You worry too much” Edea said as she stepped from the shadows. “Soon no one will be left in Dalig Ulv to stop you, even if they wanted to.” “Yes,” said another woman who also stepped from the shadows. “We will soon awaken the Tri-Council and have enough power to subdue all who stand in our way.” She stepped up next to Edea and was followed by one more woman. “Ah,” exclaimed Lief, “I did not know your sisters would be joining you so soon. Is it wise for all three of you to be here? Won’t someone notice you?” “The minds of the commoners in Dalig Ulv are easily meddled with” said Deanna, one of Edea’s sisters. “We have taken traveler’s rooms at the inn and just happen to let some magic slip whenever we need to come or go” added Athea, Edea’s other sister. “It’s entertaining to watch the men slip their drinks after we have messed with their minds!” she cackled. Leif started to look a little worried, “Edea, please, keep your sisters under control! You know we can’t have anyone discovering our plan yet!” “Do not worry. My sisters may seem carefree, but they know as well as I do the importance of our mission” responded Edea, directing the last part of her statement at her sisters with a raised eyebrow. “Now, as you know Lief, we have been having some trouble getting the information we need.” “If you need to kill another one so be it!” said Lief. “Ah, but this time we will have to venture within the city itself. We think the one who has the information we need has been holing himself up within the city walls. Probably because our mission is not hard to guess for those who already know the secret we are trying to learn” explained Edea. “Very well,” answered Lief, “But we must hurry. I’ve received word that Wyndor will not be long in returning. He is too meddlesome and may cause us trouble if we don’t hurry.”
  13. I like the concept a lot, though it might be a little too advance for the Rebellion.
  14. It's all the curved parts that really sell this for me. I love what you've done with the place! This fits Fondor very well in my opinion.
  15. I love that hammer! I'm going to have to steal that design.
  16. Sorry for the delay in updated the planet stats. I needed to take a break from commenting on builds this weekend and actually build Everything is up-to-date now. Just a little over a week left for everyone to post their builds!
  17. Lovely build! I really like your Bothan fig combo. What legs are those from? They match the dwarf torso perfectly and almost look like they were made to go together. I personally am not a fan of the log bricks mixed with regular bricks for a snot floor, but that's just me.
  18. I for one like the floor. It's a good kind of different. And I love all the junk along the wall! It fits the junk-shop atmosphere perfectly!
  19. I like your story as usual BEAVeR! I hope I'm right in assuming it's the closed flower that has toppled. It seems to show the abandonment of the origins of the Bothans. Focusing on intel rather than farming they have chosen a different path than the one their ancestors started on. I love your building techniques and I have no issues with the fact that some of it is unstable. Great work!
  20. This is absolutely fantastic!
  21. This is fantastic! I love all the little details like the bellows for the fire, the rolling pin, and the bookcase to name a few. The suits of armor set up along the wall are very nice, the choice of foliage is good, and the SNOT rock work is to be envied!
  22. I love your tan wall and I love your pictures! Your lighting is perfect!
  23. I for one am glad you have decided to build cross-guild for this one, because the result is stunning! I love your wandering path and the rocks in the water are perfect!
  24. Great job with all the texturing and other details! And way to get front-paged!
