Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
MKJoshA replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
That is a sweet Icon. What's it from? -
No, you would say he is dwarfed. There is a big difference between size ratio and a race of people. Yes, surely there are a few taller ones. Maybe they had ent-draught? I would love a quote to back this up. Everything I've read of Tolkien (which is most of his works) seems to indicate a shorter size, though I too don't have a book and page number to back it up... yet.

[SoNE Episode VI] - The Hunter becomes the Hunted (Part 1)
MKJoshA replied to Pointblank's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Very nice changes to the base -
Dwarves are shorter than regular men. Period. There is no such thing as a tall dwarf. It's just a man with a beard. But great build. I love that tower and this is a beautiful barracks.

This is a great way to show that a small amount of bricks should never stop a determined builder! Good job using what you have!

Oh. My. Goodness.

[SoNE Episode VI] - The Hunter becomes the Hunted (Part 1)
MKJoshA replied to Pointblank's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
This is probably one of my favorite Ord Mantell builds so far. I just really like the building you have, though the build could use some more junk laying around. And yes, the border will have to be adjusted. -

Great changes! -
I like the red plant, but the stem makes it look like a giant candy cane
-
Certainly gives the feel of a junkyard planet.
-
A wonderful use of your collection of old and new greys!

Thanks! I had fun coming up with good part usage. Thank you! Each one took quite a bit of planning.

I like the idea for this a lot! Nice use of mixel joints and Exo-force parts.

I built this for a little contest not being hosted here on Eurobricks, but I wanted to show off my build anyway. These are the Space Elves. A faction of spacefarers ignored by Lego so far, they search the galaxy for inhabitable planets to become home to their ever growing population. This race has outlived their original home planet whose star went supernova 5 generations ago. They have created all manor of equipment for exploring friendly or hostile planets. thanks!

[MOC] Steampirate Kenobi's Airship (with Steam Sailing Booster 4.0
MKJoshA replied to Rolli's topic in LEGO Star Wars
There are some amazing parts usage here! I love Loki's helmet and the roboarms to arm just a couple. I really like your take on this SW vehicle. -
My advice is, "Don't give up!" I think you have some untapped skill here.

Great phase I!
-
Great, unique idea!

I'm curious, where are those printed dishes from? They are perfect for this build!

[SoNE Episode VI] Flying over Bothawui
MKJoshA replied to Jakorin Swiftsword's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Nice micro-scale. Since this is the 2nd micro-scale build on Bothawui does that mean it's the hardest to build on for everyone? -
[SoNE Episode VI] A Relict from the Past
MKJoshA replied to Wat Tambor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Nice homage to Ep3 here, though the helmet is a little out of style of the movie portion of the Felucia battle, though I'm sure it can be written off as from an earlier battle. All in all this is a great little build. -
Well actually you are 1 point short of being able to build one more contest entry. You need 51 or more to build 5 entries so I guess you'll have to do another freebuild first

Is the fence really only held together with tension? Or are you using something sticky to get it to stay?
-
You have some great details and your story is very good! I certainly am looking forward to finding out what he chooses.

Amazing all around. I really like the mage staff as a door knob. Is the Santa Goblin the gremlin?
