Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
MKJoshA replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I bought $60 worth of parts, mostly grey 32x32 baseplates through the new BnP yesterday. So I crossed the threshold to get rid of the $7 service fee. But I still got charged $2.95 for shipping. I thought the new BnP was supposed to have the same Free Shipping thresholds as set orders? -

So beards are actually under the "Machine Arm" sub-category which is more accurately the Minifig Body Wear category. -

I can't believe they'll never add 2022 piece back on. I could see them waiting longer before releasing new pieces from here on out. Honestly that makes more business sense anyway. If someone really wants a part and can't wait a few months they'll buy the whole set. Plus I can see certain 2022 pieces right now. The Tiger headpiece from the ice-skating set: 98799. And the yellow afro: 86385. Funny thing about the afro is that you don't see it when looking at the pieces from the set it's in: 60330. I noticed that for some other parts too. So searching by set is broken right now. Lots to complain about, but the thing that stands out the most is lack of pictures for parts. I don't know what Miniwig No. 134 is. So I have to keep a 2nd tab open for bricklink to search the part numbers. And even then I can't find them all. I think they're still uploading data into the system. As they bring things up to speed I think we'll see more part availability. EDIT: Also, the Santa beard: 93223 shows up when you search a set. But doesn't show up for any of the category searches like Minifgure hair or Accessories. -
You lasted longer than me! I only got through the first 4 episodes of WoT. It was ok, but it deviated so far from the books I gave up on it.

Thank you all! I have so many opinions about Rings of Power, but I'm trying to reserve judgment until after I see a couple episodes. Right now I think it could either be a major achievement in Tolkienesc media or a total disrespect of his legacy. Thank you, but I have to admit that as a Moderator I get a say in what is frontpaged. I may or may not have used that privileged for my own MOC

There are a lot of things we could wish the MBS set to be. Just be careful to not turn this into a wishlist thread... -

"Morwen, daughter of Baragund, was the wife of Húrin, Lord of Dor-lómin; and their son was Túrin... Those days were evil; for the Easterlings that came into Hithlum despised the remnant of the people of Hador, and they oppressed them, and took their lands and their goods, and enslaved their children... and Morwen feared greatly that Túrin would be taken from her and enslaved. Therefore it came into her heart to send him away in secret, and to beg King Thingol to harbour him, for Beren son of Barahir was her father’s kinsman, and he had been moreover a friend of Húrin, ere evil befell. Therefore in the autumn of the Year of Lamentation Morwen sent Túrin forth over the mountains with two aged servants, bidding them find entry, if they could, into the kingdom of Doriath." -Tolkein, The Silmarillion The first of many MOCs to come telling the story of Turin. House design based off an Alan Lee painting.

My guess in order that you've posted them is: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=93352#T=P&C=120 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=40239&idColor=2#T=P&C=2 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=20595&idColor=120#T=P&C=120 Though Lego doesn't make them in those colors.

Thank you! I've been waiting for that leak forever. I'm so disappointed by the shields. I was really hoping for new printed shields, not these brick-built solutions. Guess I'm buying the Goat Boat. -

It's pretty normal for people to only be able to get certain parts by calling in. Usually animals have followed this rule. For example, way back you could order the mammoth only by calling in and asking to buy it. It never showed up online. -

That UCS Landspeeder canopy looks fake to me. Something about the bottom stud connection areas feels off. But I guess time will tell. -

I'm pretty sure the N-1 is the size it is to accommodate the dome over Grogu's spot on the ship. They had to build the rest of the ship around that size. -

Thanks for al the car reviews! The Valkyrie is the star of the show in this set for sure. Love the angles and new windscreen piece.

Lego said it would change for everyone by March 1st. They also said the US would be in the last wave of countries to see the change. So maybe tomorrow? -

That Kamino doll really seemed fake. What got me was the neck. Minidolls don't have that long of a neck piece. So Lego would be making a new element if they went that route. It's a great idea and I would love it if they did. But it seems to convenient of a leak. Couple that with the Force Ghost piece. Convenient solution that comes out as a perfectly clear leak? Either we have the best new Bothan Spy a SW Lego fan could ask for. Or someone is trolling the internet hard. -
From the initial pictures I thought this car would be my favorite. But after seeing more close-ups I think it falls to the bottom. The way the "window" trans-clear tile isn't flush with the windscreen is really an eye-sore. And the rear intakes just seem too bulky. An amazing looking car still, but perhaps the weakest of this wave.

Which customer service rep you get makes all the difference. When asking about parts not readily available on the site I've had some tell me "no," some add it no problem, some offer free shipping, and some just give it to me for free. My recommendation is to call back another time and try again.
