[M4-22 - Brick Built Creature] – Like a Bantha
MKJoshA replied to Danny_Boy4's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Fantastic work! My only critique would be the dark gray for the nose and eyes. It looks ok, but I think it would stand out less if they were earth toned. -
[M4-22 - Brick Built Creature] – Beware the Rancor
MKJoshA replied to Mandalorianknight's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Great job! Personally I think the nose is fine, but it really needs obvious eyes. -
A bigfig would not count as a minifigure nor would it take away from your limit of 5. It would be treated like background material. So you can have 5 figures and one of them can be riding a Rancor. The same as someone with 5 figures posed on a MOC. You won't be judged on the MOC or the Rancor, but if it helps sell your characters it can be a good thing.

[M4 - 22 - 12x12 Vignette] "Is your foot all right?"
MKJoshA replied to CrappyMocMaker's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Great re-creation! I have to admit though, my first thought was "why are they doing a dance number?" But then I saw the original shot and you totally pulled it off. -
Great shaping! Cool to see you branching out into digital building.

[M4-22 - 12x12 Vignette] The place where Luke's hand fell
MKJoshA replied to Sérgio's topic in Watto's Junkyard
A very fun entry! The Expanded Universe made such a big deal from Luke's hand. I wonder if Disney will ever go that route. -

Voting is done. I'm tallying today and results will be posted soon! -
Minimal overhang would be allowed. Just don't abuse it

Looks pretty good!

You know, I forgot to add that to the rules. Official rule will be that you can enter as many times as you'd like in each category.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
MKJoshA replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
So back in Aug 2021 I ordered 2 pneumatic pumps. The order was left pending for so long I forgot about it. I got the order last week. And then I got it again on Thur and Fri. And then again on Mon and Tue. Seems to be a glitch loop where I get another order shipped out each day. Waiting to see if I get another one today. I called CS and my rep said all she saw was that the order went out today. Clearly a newbie because her answer was that I should call USPS who's been delivering the packages. I'll try calling again tomorrow to get a different person. As has happened before, Lego told me they don't want the pieces back and I can keep the extras. I just wish it was a more useful part. Why couldn't this happen with Black Falcon torsos!?! -
LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Aunt Beru is sold out on Shop at Home. Surprised it lasted as long as it did. I ended up not getting any of the promos since everything I wanted to buy was out of stock and I couldn't convince myself to buy $160 worth of sets I already had or didn't plan to buy. -
Nothing dumb about it! This preference is for you to use all standard Lego pieces. But you're not going to get disqualified if you have custom capes or even a clone brand gun or two. But the idea is to create with Lego. As long as your MOC captures the essence of that rule you'll be fine.

Sounds like the model has changed enough for you to enter it. Go for it!

Yeah, it just seems good to have a limit. I'd love to see a U shaped fighter that's not the tradition U-Wing from someone though.

M 11 - Corellia - LS DIRT 99 Heavy Fighter
MKJoshA replied to jansued's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Very nice ship! Love the use of the Batmobile windscreens. Took me a minute to recognize them and they work perfectly for your build. Just an FYI, you don't have to include the planet name in your post titles anymore -
[P6-LS] Joining Blackmoon Squadron

Love that SNOT floor. But it's your E-Wing that really shines here! Fantastic work on the shaping, especially at the nose. I also like your use of the minifigure trans-clear handles to act as repulserlifts for the ladder.- 10 replies

[H16-LS] Launch to Bakura
MKJoshA replied to karmajay's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
I really like the shape of this ship! My complaint would be that it's too blocky in parts. A lot of brick stacking going on. I'd recommend experimenting with some SNOT, especially for the sides.
