  1. Happy Thanksgiving Americanos
  2. I suppose these are from before the fire...
  3. Very original idea and you build some nice speeders and scenery for it as well. Although I expected something involving barrels Good to see that peace between the factions is restored and I can confirm: I was there!
  4. Now that's thinking outside the box...
  5. ... and in Firefox
  6. Although I don't own it, I like the little digger from the construction scene set. The blade makes it complete, looks good.
  7. It's still the same hull width... I much prefer the blue in the color scheme, but perhaps it would be sweet to redo the whole ship in the Brickbeard's Bounty color scheme. And you managed to use the 'extra' red dress on the wench...
  8. Serves him right!
  9. You really managed to capture the atmosphere. I like the narrow streets, the balconies, all very realistic.
  10. LMAO... I guess I read over the review to quickly. In the spirit over Dr. Evil (Austin Powers movie), you can hear Governor Broadside say: "Welcome to my Imperial Flagship*, it's long, hard, and full of seamen." * in the movie it's Dr. Evil's 'submarine lair'.
  11. Indeed: spectacular. I like how you've stayed away from the traditional themes and built both a temple and a tree hideout. Both are done exceptionally well (I just can't stand that the tiles on the temple stairs are not fully pressed down, even though I'm sure that's done to enhance realism). The way the beach is embedded in the rocks also looks really good.
  12. Great review! I am happy everyone says it looks better in real-life than on the pictures. The bow construction certainly look a little flimsy, and I am surprised about the 'dress mistake' (would this mean that the red design will be used in the 2010 Castle series?).
  13. That old(er) guy looks like he's gonna kick both their megablocks any minute. Nice work on the equipment!
  14. That's a funny idea. And think of all the variations to this game: next to banana-whacking, you can have fish-slapping, carrot-banging, chickenleg-hitting, cherry-squishing, apple-throwing, croissant-bashing, ... Or ... and eating contest (feel free to use that idea )
  15. Rick

    War Memorial.

As others have said, my favorite part would also be the posing of the figs and the fire blowing in the wind. I think the statue now is a bit simple (no 'body' for the soldier), but maybe this works best in this vig. I would however recommend using an older 'plain' shako if you have it.
  16. Ctrl-0 (zero) usually sets it to normal, while Ctrl-+ (plus) and Ctrl-- (minus) zoom in/out. But Ctrl-scroll button does the same. Just harder to get to the normal (Ctrl-0) setting.
  17. Thanks for highlighting that again (I always feel the urge to click links when someone brings something up). I hadn't consciously noticed the mosaic above the door. That's really wonderfully done.
  18. Nice entry. Brickbeard really dressed up for the occasion.
  19. That looks really good! And I'm sure it deserves a topic of its own when it's done.
  20. That was my first thought when I read it as well... I guess (or hope ) we'll see a lot of designs inspired by classic sets.
  21. Hehehe funny idea... poor Santa unless he likes hottubs
  22. Hehehe, that's funny, now do the red round one... (if you want and then when you take a new pic you might want to align the yellow slope pieces a little better, because that is kind of distracting now).
  23. That's a funny idea fitting the contest topic really well. I like the fully-loaded wagon and the expression on the governor's face. Also nice work on the scenery. Too bad the picture quality is a little low.
  24. Excellent posing on the minifigs... very well done!
  25. Still going strong, eh? While this looks like a nice little wagon, The red is a little too much around the windows. I would have preferred to have it as an accent color only. But I guess those train windows aren't available or rare in tan, are they?
