The red car was on one of the pics of a convention where 2010 sets were presented. We had some debate in the City 2010 thread about whether it was the - what we now know is - 'Smart' car for 2010. I guess this is a set in the series 6191-6193 Fire/Pirate/Castle Building set. Looks like a nice step-up to the City line for younger kids.
You lucky BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
I'm surprised to hear they already have January 2010 in stock, irrespective of whether they should be on the shelves already.

I've seen it before - don't know if it's been posted here yet - and it indeed is a really cool creation, especially considering the random bricks used.
I really like the exteriors of the two buildings. The interior, especially the post office could do with some more detailing (upstairs) and I agree with Milan that it's a bit weird to have the cars parked there, especially considering that it doesn't have a back. Aren't you considering adding a fourth wall? In that way you could have the cars parked outside and perhaps have a sorting area in the back.
Nice concept (a steam boat), which definitely turned out good. I like MOCs that have this set-like feel to them.
I wish TLG would 'borrow' some more Playmobil ideas. Playmobil has/had excellent themes, with original ideas for sets.
I didn't realize these are the only hospitals ever released by TLG. 'Our' 6380 comes from my wife's childhood collection. And despite it's simplicity, I've always had sort of a weak spot for 6364, which unfortunately I don't own. Can't be bothered with the most recent hospital.
An instant eye catcher indeed. But the whole shape of the ship looks really good and it has just the right amount of details and the sails look excellent. Great team effort!
And why isn't this front-paged yet on EB and/or classic-pirates.com? I can understand you're not going to blog your own creation, but is the rest of the crew sleeping?

A search of "Lego 2010" gives you most of what's known so far for 2010.
... struck Mark, who only partly deflected the impact, sending his lightsaber flying through the air. The ground below them started rumbling, and cracks started to emerge in the floors below their feet. The lightsaber fell through one of the cracks in the floor and hit a surprised Hinkley in the head who was still cluelessly walking around on the floor below. A certain walrus who is always at his side, didn't hesitate, picked up the lightsaber and rushed up to the attic. ("1 minute".) He came just in time to...
... the sea of guinea pigs split before him. Towards him came on a rare yellow Lego bike, a postman. "In him, strong the force is", Yoda whispered. As he came cycling closer, Mark saw he was carrying something in his bag. "In the bag, ultimate weapon is", Yoda said. When he opened the bag, Mark couldn't believe his eyes, as he was looking at...
MMMB001 also appears in last year's City advent calendar (minus the 1 x 1 round used as neck). I agree that the one from the Winter Toy Shop should be added. I like this one best.
... set all of their statuses to 'Taking a break' and they all had a nice picnic on the side of the road. After finishing their meal, the walrus hit Hinckley with his bucket, who responded with a whack of his hammer, but he missed and accidentally hit...
... at that moment Zorro got whacked on the head with a giant Fabuland hammer, freeing the evil Megabloks spirit that had taken possession of poor Zorro. The evil Megabloks spirit now took possession of Eskallon, who at the last moment joined the crew aboard the Naboo Fighter, leaving the surprised EB crew behind on the Black Seas Barracuda, and leaving everyone aboard unaware of the evil that was among them. The Naboo Fighter set course to the destination indicated on Red Beard's map, where they would find the ultimate weapon in the battle against the evil guinea pigs, the long lost world of...
