How long do I have to wait until I can post again?
Rick replied to Sir Brickalot's topic in Forum Information and Help
Not if the posts are made further than 20 minutes apart. However, generally you're expected to edit your post instead of making a new post if no one has replied to you yet. -

Rick replied to Sir Brickalot's topic in Forum Information and Help
I think the board software merges posts made within 15 or 20 minutes of each other. -
We call them Tags. Some can be earned by winning competitions, others are awarded for significant contributions to particular subforums and others are just given for fun. Some general information about tags can be found in this topic.

Yes, it is. The tutorial describes two different ways to embed images in posts.

This sounds a lot like you are using EB to advertise your Ideas' project (or a project of someone close to you). Please refer to the Site Guidelines for our policy on Ideas projects. Thank you.

How to get something on the front page?
Rick replied to mike4slund's topic in Forum Information and Help
Even though it's probably not your own store, please don't use EB to advertise (refer to the Site Guidelines). -
Masked Builder, Eurobricks Reviewers Academy Teacher, reviews the latest LEGO Ideas release: 21109 Exo Suit. Head over to the Sci-Fi forum and check it out.

Welcome to Eurobricks. This "New Member Section" is only visible to new members. The majority of EB members therefore can't read this introduction. Feel free to introduce yourself in the "Hello my name is..." forum. -
A couple of threads about this topic have already been locked the past couple of days. Please look around if something similar has already been posted before starting a new thread. Please continue the discussion here.

Eurobricks is an international AFOL community and we only allow posting in English. If you'd like to communicate in French, please use the PM system. Thank you.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Rick replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I was referring to Dharkan, not you. We try to be as welcoming as possible to members from all over the world. You certainly can't expect everyone to perfectly understand all the ins and outs of the English language before we let them post here. I didn't see anything wrong with Dharkan's post, and I certainly didn't read it the way you read it, but that probably has to do with my imperfect knowledge of the language. The other point I was trying to bring across in my earlier post is that, if you have a problem with someone's posting behaviour, report it and let us deal with it. Now let's get this thread back on topic. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Rick replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I don't think that's what he meant at all (not all people on this site are native English speakers). If you think a thread requires moderation, please use the Report button. Thanks. -
There's a discussion thread about this in the Embassy. Feel free to discuss the issue there.

We've had several threads turn into discussions about gender equality and the like and it's no surprise to see some of the "usual suspects" in here again. There are more appropriate places to discuss these issues (there should be a thread in General). From now on, please discuss the set itself in this thread. If you'd like to discuss gender issues further, please find the appropriate thread to do so. Thank you.

Please refrain from making sexist comments like this. Thank you.

Set this minifig head appears in?

Isn't it this one? -
Modular creations don't always have to be tall as this petrol station in art deco style by Righty proves. Leave your comments in the Town forum.

You seem to have uploaded the file directly to Eurobricks. While every member used to get a little bit of space (usually good for one image) to directly upload files to Eurobricks, we have recently disabled this feature altogether. You have to upload your files to an image host, like flickr, and embed them on EB using BBcode. Tutorials on how to do this can be found by following the links in all staff members' signatures. -
You can read all about it here. But yes, you're right, they're awarded by EB staff.
