  1. It was bumped by someone who turned out to be a spammer (see the quote Pandora edited in jluckhaupt's post, the spammer's original post is gone).
  2. It seems to be the same every year after a list of rumoured sets is announced. Of course LEGO City is going to offer fire and police sets, but let's just wait until the first pictures show up. The names of some of the other vehicles definitely sound promising.
  3. snaillaid built this huge modular department store, complete with a 1930s tram. Check out all the interior and exterior details and more in the Town forum
  4. You can post about your purchases here.
  5. Please remain polite (and use proper capitalisation). Thanks. If you think something warrants staff attention, please use the Report button (which can be found on every post).
  6. They do, and done.

  8. I have merged your topic with the existing topic on this issue. Please refer to the Eurobricks FAQ for answers to questions such as yours.
  9. Eurobricks Reviewers Academy Teacher JimButcher presents an exclusive review of the new Architecture set 21050 Architecture Studio - Create Your Own Architecture. Head over to the Special Themes forum for an exclusive first look.

    New City wheel

Nice find. It can be seen in some of the pictures for 60022.
  11. It has been discussed in the Retired/Replaced Parts thread. I have merged your topic with that thread.
  12. Please don't bump 6 year old topics when you have little to add to the discussion. Thank you.
  13. The 2009 City Advent Calendar was like a Winter Village add-on for a large part and the 2010 one had a family celebrating Christmas.

    [MoC] Ferrari Fz

I understand, but we require everyone to post in English because a forum is not a one-on-one conversation and we want everyone to be able to follow it. If you want to talk French (or any other language) with another member, please use the PM system. Thanks.

I understand it's easier for you to answer in French, but please consider that Eurobricks is an international forum and English is the only acceptable language. Thank you. I'm not that much of a Sci-Fi fan, but I like the way you Sci-Fied a Ferrari F1 car.
  16. There is an option to be notified when someone quotes a post by you, but - luckily - the notification can't be forced (i.e., when the user doesn't have the option to be notified checked, they won't be notified). The simplest option would be to send someone a PM.
  17. As indicated the Collectible Minifigures are discussed in the Special Themes forum. There is a general discussion thread for every series. Having said that, I doubt they're still in production and I'm afraid they're really sold out when they run out of inventory in a certain region/country.
  18. Town is my primary responsibility, but all moderators are Eurobricks moderators, Technic not excluded. Since Technic does not currently have a dedicated moderator, other moderators have to step in from time to time. No one is forcing you to post on Eurobricks, so please stop responding like that to simple requests. I asked you to reduce the the size of your pictures because the huge pictures you posted take way too long to load for some members.
  19. Thanks for the really detailed review Rufus. I love the in-depth research you did on the comparison with the real thing and especially the original Cuusoo model. The model definitely isn't without it's flaws but it looks like TLG really did what they could at this scale and without special-purpose molds. I definitely don't think the necessity to be able to recreate the BTTF III model was the only reason to not include the 8-wide slope piece. It would have probably made the car more visually appealing, but definitely at the expense of a lot of bulkiness as you clearly show in the review. The original Cuusoo model doesn't look good from a lot of angles and seems to have been photographed from an acceptable angle for the Cuusoo submission. On the other hand, the picture on the front of the box of the final model definitely doesn't show the car at it's best angle, but from a lot of angles it seems to look just fine though. I'm surprised TLG included building techniques they would never use in regular sets, like the 1 x 1 pieces to connect the hoses to the sides that are only attached by one single stud.
  20. Can you please calm down? I don't like to be talked to in this way. I'm not a Technic fan, so I don't have an opinion on your MOC. I recognise you're new to the forum and I'm just trying to point you in the right direction. When I closed your original thread, I already pointed you to the links in my signature with a lot of information about posting, image sizes, etc.
  21. Please stop continuously bumping the thread with meaningless posts. Thanks.
  22. Please don't blame me because you weren't done editing and you posted in the wrong forum. I advise you to spend some more attention on your posts and only post the final version of your topic. When you're still editing you can use the preview function to see what your post looks like. Also, I have changed your pictures to links because they are way too big. Per the Site Guidelines, the maximum size for embedded images on Eurobricks is 1024 x 768 pixels.
  23. You mean something like this (or this)?
  24. This is probably exactly why it doesn't seems like great value for money to me, even though I can rationalise the price tag. I felt the same way about 8404. The problem with this is that a certain theme only gets a limited number of sets. It's also why we don't see two 16 x 32 modulars per year, why train cars aren't sold separately and why different types or tracks and road plates are bundled together (Duplo included since this year).
  25. There are no pictures included in your post. Please refer to the Eurobricks FAQ (linked to in my signature) for information on uploading pictures (on flickr, for example) and posting. Eurobricks is organised by themes, so a Technic MOC would go in the corresponding forum.
