Happy Birthday Fangy my dear pal! Hope you have a great day!

On balance, I think Yasu is most likely scum. She probably is a role cop, or at least on a team with someone else who is. Her attempts at defense look sloppy to me; I think she was coached, but took it on herself to roleclaim too early. It's possible she is just a clueless townie, but I'd rather risk losing a clueless townie who isn't likely to put her role to effective use, than to keep a suspected scum around in the game for the extra days it will require to confirm her. Moreover - and more importantly - lynching her will give us valuable information about the people who have been arguing against her lynch. Vote: Yasu (TheBoyWonder)
-
It is? Let me guess: you tell him to investigate you, he does, and he gets your role right, and you come back to us and say, 'Yup! He's telling the truth!' If the town has a tracker, we can track him, and see who he targets - assuming that we have a tracker who can tell someone that we all can trust who can then report to us. That's a lot of ifs. Anything else could just be a pack of lies. There are only two sure-fire ways to be sure: investigate him, and have the investigator verified somehow, all of which will take at least two days; or, lynch him. Neither confirm his role. Experience tells us that the lowest posters on Day One are rarely scum. How is that a 'safe gamble'?

Thinking things over, I'm inclined to believe that Yasu is a role cop, but the question remains whether she is scum or town. Role cop could be a useful role for either; perhaps more so for scum who have to find out whom to target at night. Yes, you can be verified as targeting whom you say you are going to target, but how does that help? It would be much more useful if you were to be investigated, but you didn't suggest that. So why rush to tell him if you don't know? I'm also quite concerned by Itchikoo's answer: This seems more like a panicked scum-plosion to me than a reasoned town response. It sounds like the two of you have been plotting. As you (Itchiroo) would have no reason to trust Yasu's claim, reacting like this doesn't sit well with me. But a good claim for someone who is a scum role cop. Again, a watcher proves nothing. If there is an investigator out there, please investigate Yasu tonight. If you say so. This sounds to me like, 'why did you go and drop me in it too?' Now they could, one or both, be telling the truth, but this sounds to me like scum desperately trying to cover their tracks. If Yasu is scum, it's highly likely that Itchiroo is too. From what I've seen, I'm leaning towards Yasu being a scum role-cop, and therefore I would rather not risk keeping a likely scum around for another day.

Wait... Ichirou told you this? This opens a whole completely different kettle of worms. Ichirou, can you confirm this?

That's a risk we have to take every day, and you are experienced enough to know this. That is the way we make progress. Even if we lynch a fellow townie we may be able to gain information by analysing who votes and when. I've been reading through what everyone has said so far, and there is little to help us at this stage; but then there rarely is. Your statement stood out as being odd for someone who knows how these games work. Then there's Yasu, whose response to the accusation hasn't exactly helped to exonerate her, but it's hardly concrete. We have to lynch today. Yes, there's a risk we'll vote off a townie, but not voting only helps the scum.
-
One thing to note: apparently it's 'the player with the most votes' who gets lynched, so a majority doesn't have to be reached. We'll be lucky to get anything more concrete than this on day one, but stranger things have happened! I too will look forward to what Yasu has to say today.

Yakuza Family - Confirmation and Discussion

Momoe here! I ready to do my part to restore honour to great Yakuza family. -
That's a beautiful picture! The lighting is superb I'd like to see more from you!

As this is primarily about custom figs, I'll move to the MCW...

Your picture is too large. Please resize to a maximum of 800x600 px as per site guidelines. Thanks!

Moving to Sci-Fi...

Merged! Thanks Rick -------- I can see a problem with this idea: a review of a set which has, say, 928 parts will produce confusing links.

Ok, I'll play, if you'll have me I've played in six full mafia games, and hosted one. Full details on my profile page. I'll have full internet access for the foreseeable future. All I know about Japan I have learned from def. So he is to blame for any lack of important knowledge I might display -
Too much prying and you'll be joining them.

Bem vindo, José! (That's about the limit of my Portuguese, I'm afraid! )

That's a lovely DeLorean It'd be nice to see a video of it in action. I've moved it here from Licenced as BTTF is not a LEGO Licenced theme, and 'movie themes' go here in Special; but with the Power Functions it might be better in Technic. I've also edited the title: we're happy to have MOCs posted here for discussion, but please do not post MOCs here purely to try to get CUUSOO votes. Thanks!

Hotel booked! It seemed so easy. I wonder what will inevitably go wrong!

Since 'one-wave' themes tend mostly to be Action themes, and as there's already a lively discussion going on in the Action Themes Forum, I'm going to much this discussion into that one.

You can just see in the picture that there's a little car that comes with the chopper, so I imagine it goes inside.

Also from FBTB's Toy Fair pics: 7346 Seaside House 415 Pieces US $49.99 7345 Transport Chopper 383 Pieces US $34.99 There seems to be a bit of a price disparity between these two similarly-sized sets...

LEGO CREATOR Summer sets revealed at Toy Fair 2012! Thanks to FBTB, we can now see the fabulous CREATOR sets lined up for August release! Discuss the new sets here in the Special Themes Forum!

Rufindel Galadhras also emerges from the shadows, nodding recognition at Galen Woodward as they pass. He, too, steps up to the Quest Board, but he scribbles his name hopefully next to the only available quest, number 23, Guarding the Guards. He has no experience of Watchmen, but he has the required Level of experience, and is indeed a Cleric. He then returns to the shadowy corner, palming a bottle of mead from the table as he passes.
