It might not be a bad idea if we all bash Barr Handle this round. Good thinking, Atramor! -

I like that plan. I'll try to heal Atramor from the Back Row. -

I'll hit Swordsman A from the Front Row. If he uses his Special, hopefully it'll take out a free hit from one of the others. -

Rufindel considers the options. A. 'Keystone? What Keystone?' B. 'Surrender? In our moment of triumph? Nevaaaaaaahhhhh!' C. 'Here, have it. But beware, it carries a terrrrrible cuuuurrrse!' D. Throw it over there and run. I think D. I doubt it's going to be much use to us, anyhow. Forgot to mention, options B and C come with various forms of maniacal laughter. And A comes with ' ' -
I'd pick William, Sheldon and Tony from those three. But that's what I said before! I don't feel particularly strongly about this, though.

Thanks for letting me play, Badboy. I hate to say it, but sorry, - I really didn't enjoy this game at all. I was cast as one of the Secret Agents - a secret scum group, whose win condition was to outnumber the Town. We could merge with the scum team if we were able to role-cop their godfather, after which we would get a killing ability. We didn't have a kill ability until we did this. I asked Badboy what would happen if we didn't merge with the scum, but were able to outnumber the town (eg., four scum, four agents, four town) - would both Agents and Scum win in this situation? I didn't receive a satisfactory answer. The problem is that we did, apparently, role-cop the scum godfather (who I believe was Scubacarrot) on night 3 - but as Nightshroud has said, we got the result that he was vanilla Yakuza. So we didn't merge, and didn't get a killing ability. There was no way for us to win after that. Moreover, the scum role-copped our godfather (Peanuts) on night 2: I fully expected that we would merge after this, as Peanuts was killed that night. I assumed that the scum would be looking for our godfather for the same reason we were looking for theirs - otherwise, why would they have a role-cop at all? With no realistic way to win, there was very little incentive to try to play at all, and I was glad to be taken out of the game. Moreover, I had the most impossible role. I was a Mistress - I slept with people at night, then if I were night-killed (not lynched) they would die of grief (as happened to iamded's character). This role is useless unless I planned to die, which I had intended to do. The problem was that people I targeted were notified that I had slept with them, and as there was very little I could claim to defend myself, I chose instead to keep my mouth shut, and try to target players who looked scummy in order to defend myself to town. Then we were screwed over by VolcanicPanik and zakura, who as it turned out knew each other in real life. zakura 'knew' I was a secret agent on Day One, because Panik told him. We spent a lot of time fire-fighting and trying to find out exactly what Panik had told zakura, so that we could at least try to build some defence. Panik went mysteriously quiet for quite some time. This was a big game-breaker for me. You two should have told the host in advance that you knew each other IRL. Thanks to Peanuts and Nightshroud for playing as well as possible given the circumstances. I enjoyed playing with you guys, even if most of our time was spent trying to work out what we could salvage from the mess. Sorry to sound harsh, but it's one thing to be set a difficult task in order to stand a chance of winning - but to achieve that goal and be denied due to what I assume is a hosting error does rather spoil the game. I don't want to detract from the town vs scum battle, or the town victory, which I'm sure is thoroughly deserved.

Heroica RPG - Quest #23: Guarding the Guards
Rufus replied to Scubacarrot's topic in The Heroica Archive
So, is this keystone vital to our quest, or is it some kind of russet-coloured oily seawater fish? I can't imagine our employer is going to be too interested in arranging contact with any ancient-vault-experts, as it hardly seems relevant to the task in hand, but I guess there is no harm in asking. Should we go back to Cap'n Pat? Once we've dealt with those pesky Wolfgangers, that is. Or is there another way out of here? -
An internet tale Winchester/Shaun of the Dead project on CUUSOO

Well, if it gets released, this is one CUUSOO model I'd definitely buy. Congratulations, Yatkuu, for this fantastic achievement! I sincerely hope TLG give it the green light. -

Righty-ho. We need to find some place we can't get into... strokes chin ... Perhaps we should go back to that place we found the drunk man? -

Rufindel uses the magnifying glass to magnify his eye for comic effect. No-one laughs. -
Sylvia, I don't quite follow this. Can you clarify this for me? For each of these clues, were there one green and two red, or the other way round? You said you got red and green confused, which is understandable, but were the quantities of each correct? I'd be inclined to offer clues to the following: Donna, William, Sheldon, Tony, and Ingrid For the simple reason that none of them have done anything particularly suspicious. But I'm willing to listen if anyone has a better idea. As for the group vote, once again there is no-one I particularly trust, but I'll put my faith in Sheldon. Vote: Sheldon Wills (Shadows)

Thank you, Cronk! Rufindel eyes the final chest suspiciously. -
Try it and see. I'll let you know if it's not suitable.

Nice! But I'm going to move this to the Minifig Customisation Workshop

Right!

I'll merge this into 'Most Wanted SW Characters'.

I'll do my best to finish that Bat off. I'll play safe and use the Fauxthril staff, from the Front Row. -
Sorry! I always get those two confused. I'll correct it.

I'll try to bash the Bat again from the front row. -
Well, I've only had one clue, and as I said before it was nothing to do with puddles, hair or pieces of fabric. On night one I got to 'borrow' three people's gems and throw them in the water. I chose, rather randomly, Diana, Donna, and Sheldon. All three of their gems turned red. I had no idea what to make of it at the time, but having seen the vision of the stabbed people holding green gems, I guess that means they are trustworthy, or at least were at the time. I hope this helps.

I wonder if it's a reissue of the last one (shameless plug of my own review ) or whether they've redesigned it? The original was a treasure trove of rare parts, not to mention being a beautiful set. However, it was (IIRC) about £40 in 2001, and I imagine this one would be £85 now given the US & Euro prices - too much for inflation alone methinks. Plus ... ... these features weren't in the 2001 version.
