  1. Would you mind posting them all in one thread? I can merge the two you have already and give it a catchy title. I think sixteen separate threads will be a bit much! I'm thinking a bit like Cecilie did for series 4.
  2. Nice, but CMF Vignettes belong in Special. Moving....
  3. It depends where you are. In the UK, they're available on S@H already.
  4. People have been wishing to see this since before I joined EB! You've done a beautiful job It's on the frontpage!
  5. LEGO Star Wars fans have been calling for an all-chrome Naboo Royal Starship for years - well EB member Anio has finally made one! Click the picture, or here, to see this beauty in all its shiny glory in the STAR WARS Forum!

  9. Well, you've kinda blown the surprise, but that's not your fault! Thanks for posting this on EB By Pandora and Rufus But thanks! This is your first review? It's not at all bad for a first attempt! Better by far than my early ones You've shown the set off very nicely , though I'd suggest adding some alternative views, and some pictures of the real building. You might also like to think about joining the Reviewers Academy. I have to admit I hadn't heard of this building before the news of the set came about... but then I hadn't heard of Robie House or Fallingwater either It has more colour variety than the average Architecture set, and it's great to see some smaller Earth Green plates... I'll certainly be adding it to the collection.
  10. It's great to see a CREATOR-type creature MOC! I like the use of curve slopes to give it a rounded appearance, and the pink ear-innards. I'm not so keen on the head, though, which is a little large, and the lower jaw a little square. I'd suggest using a couple of inverted slope-wedges for the latter Can he sit up and beg?
  11. Sure you could, but I think then it would look a little squat. And at some point it would cease to be a mod and become a MOC
  12. That's exactly what we had in mind. We tried it - it works ok, but the bulge in the tower is a little too pronounced. We'll try to get some pics later. Here's mod number 1: I think this makes the top of the tower too big. This works, but you have to rely on the 'X' at the back of the circular tiles clutching the stud sufficiently. It's a little weak, and possibly an illegal connection, which may be why it was rejected by the designer: The advantage of this mod is that it doesn't require any additional parts. However, the white of the 1-stud SNOT bricks shows a little. It might be an acceptable compromise for anyone who wants the set but is put off by the protruding clocks.

    Hello, EM4CZ.
  14. LEGO STAR WARS Summer Sets Revealed! Thanks once again to GRogall for sourcing these pictures! Head on over to the STAR WARS forum to discuss!
  15. Lovely scuplture! Though I'm not so keen on this android dude, personally, but you've recreated him really well as expected! I hope you don't mind - I've changed your topic title from 人造人間キカイダー to Kikaider Android. I'm not keen on the Japanese characters being in the thread title, and I'd like people to be able to see what they're getting in the thread.
  16. Nice! Some great attention to detail in there - I love the landing gear flaps, and the way you've tapered the fuselage. Could you perhaps upload some pics without the grid? It's been a while since I used LDD, but it was possible last time I tried. I'd love to see this in real brick. You could then close off the cockpit, and perhaps bend the flex tubes to close off the front of the cockpit canopy.

  18. Holy moly, I can't believe I missed this Looks beautiful! Is it coming to Brickworld? I noticed some more pics on Flickr; are you going to update this?
  19. This car would go brilliantly with the new Captain America CMF dude: His grin would make up for the lack of headlights
  20. I've stolen the other Life of George thread from General Discussion and will merge this into there, which will become the LoG general discussion thread.
  21. To avoid topic duplication, I'm going to close this thread and merge it into the other Build A Minifigure thread. Please use that one for Questions and Answers related to BaM. Thanks!
  22. Check the first post of this thread.
  23. Thanks for reviewing this! I'd just suggest adding a little summary of the set information at the top - price, part count etc. It's a cute little game! I have to disagree a little - I think I might just get this as a parts pack - the dalek pieces are always useful, and I'll never complain about pink tiles. I think those open stud round plates might be useful too. I'm a little unclear on why they've included so many pink tiles in the set, when there's only supposed to be one worm, but I guess your alternative play works well.
  24. Ooh! An expert. Why didn't I think of asking an expert in digital rendering at the time? This matter has been dealt with, and there'll be no further discussion about it, thanks.
