  1. Rufindel whispers to his colleagues. 'We mustn't reveal why we're here or what we're looking for. Boomingham, perhaps your charm is required here?'
  2. I'll move this to Train Tech.
  3. Further to what Pep says, any movie scene-related MOCs are welcome in Special Themes. We have a TV section too I've clarified the title to this thread.
  4. Happy Birthday dude! Have a fab day!
  5. Well, the crates definitely belong to the Ziegfrieds then! Could we perhaps take one bottle as evidence that their crates are here? Though I guess it's quite possible that the Shadeaux got these crates through perfectly legitimate means. Otherwise, back to aisle 4 and I guess we need to go through the back door. Unless we feel brave enough to open a bottle?
  6. We already have a plethora of Collectable Minifigure discussion threads. If you had posted a picture of your own collection, I'd be happy for this to become a 'SHow us your collection' thread, but there's no point in it otherwise. I can reopen it if there is demand.
  7. Thanks for doing the review! What a cute little set Your pictures are mostly nice and sharp. I'd like to see more from you. Have you thought about joining the Reviewers Academy?
  8. Nice. I love the snow camouflage. And it's a definite improvement on your last - the lines are much neater.
  9. Nice! I love that Python sketch I'm going to merge this into the Collectable Minifigure Photography thread.
  10. Wow, a lovely tribute to a beautiful but unfortunate building It's a little overpowering in dark bley (old dark grey might have been a better choice, but it's harder to come by these days), but the detailing - particularly the white pointing of the butresses - is superb, and the apse looks amazing The rose window is a great solution to a difficult MOCing problem. Does it have an interior? You should deeplink more pictures!
  11. Mmm, smooth! That's a lot of dark green there, looks great! I love the use of the big green curve slopes on the turret.
  12. Spoils: The potions should go to those lowest in health, except Hybros who already has two potions: Alexis Boomingham Eric Now might be a good time to use them . Then shall we look at the crates with the Ziegfried emblem? And search the rest of the aisle.
  13. Bah. Lady Luck really hasn't been with us. Battle Order: Rufindel Eric Alexis Boomingham I'll attack Swordy from the Front Row. Booomy, I'd suggest you take the back row for this round.
  14. Much as Hinckley would like to have his ego stroked, I think he'd prefer it if you have something to show us. And thanking people is a bit lame when they don't know what they're being thanked for. Let me know when you've got something to show, and I'll reopen this. In the meantime, here's some light entertainment: http://www.brickzone.net/fabuland_housewives.html And some more:
  15. It's a possibility, certainly, but nothing is confirmed as yet. Yes, it does I'll move and merge shortly.
  16. Same tactics, same order! Eric Alexis Atramor Boomingham Hybros Rufindel I'll attack Axe from the Front Row.
  17. Haha, that's fantastic! Some Nice Part Usage there, The0!
  18. Um... This is an odd question, and an odd place to ask it. I'll merge this into the other thread you posted in about the Ninjago Alarm Clock.
  19. Awesome!!! Lovely details, especially the fretwork If only it had strings And it's on the Frontpage!
  20. Rock On! Eurobricks Knight and convention regular Polish Guy presents a life-size MOC of a Rickenbacker 4001 Lefty Bass Guitar! Click the picture to view and comment on this amazing 1:1 scale model in the Special Themes Forum! Keep on Rockin!
  21. Let's try the battle order that was so successful last time Eric Alexis Atramor Boomingham Hybros Rufindel (In case you're wondering, this is a good idea in theory: both Eric and Alexis have the potential to harm more than one enemy, so they might take health of all three; meanwhile, if Rufindel casts a Miracle, he'll heal any damage done that round) I'd also suggest that, rather than each guard targeted by two people, four of us should target one baddie, and the other two target the other two. If the first target is defeated, any remaining attacks will be redirected to one of the remaining baddies; it's better to finish one off entirely than have three weaker baddies still standing. I'll attack the Sword Guard from the Front Row
  22. I agree. It's possible they've been taken through that back door, but let's check the ones here first. I guess we'll need to kill those guards after all.
  23. No, but those crates bear the insignia of the Ziegfrieds. This information could yet be useful to us. If I remember correctly, all we have been commissioned to do is find crates marked with a crown; however, I'm sure the Ziegfrieds would also be interested to know that their crates are here. Anyhoo, well done Boomingham on sweet-talking the guards (and winning the gold). Let's move on to aisle four, treading carefully as usual.
  24. Cheers, Chris! You're right that that part is bulky. It's supposed to be a thin covering of metal which 'hugs' the droid, but I can't see how that could be done in LEGO without losing the droid's body. Thanks, Ki-Adi-Mundi! Thanks, fallenangel. I'm sure you're right that it's not that curved. Ooops, you are of course correct: I'll go back and correct that. Silly me
  25. Best Ideas Book Ever!!!! It tells such a wonderful story I actually have it next to the computer as I type. Unfortunately I used most of the stickers, but the book is otherwise in reasonable shape.
