Sorry, Jacob, but I don't see what this has got to do with Irena or Amy If my mathematics are correct, there appears to be a split vote between by sister and my mother. My own gut feeling has been a suspicion of Amy, and those that have voted for her seem to have use reasoned arguments, with the possible exception of Richelle. The arguments against Mother seem a little less substantial to me, although Daniel at least made an effort. My chief concern about Amy has been the overt trust, which I still find suspicious, and although she has to some extent mollified this concern, her rebuttals seem a little like distraction and finger-pointing to me: I mean, what about Dragana? I don't know. The arguments against mother revolve purely around her being a little quiet and talking about pie, which is true, but my gut is still telling me there's something about Amy... I'm not sure I'm ready to give in to my gut and vote just yet, but that's the way I'm leaning right now

Log Cabins, Hillside Houses and Lighthouse Islands...
Rufus replied to David Thomsen's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is indeed a great topic for discussion, one that I was planning to start myself I'm a big CREATOR fan, and generally approve of the direction the LEGO Co. has taken with these. They have largely replaced system town houses (a few notable exceptions like the 8403 House appear from time to time), and crammed with architectural detail and play elements. The addition of the rather generic minifig to the latest houses has, as I have said elsewhere, served to anchor the sets firmly within the 'Town add-on' realm, and point out that they are compatible with the usual CITY line-up. I wonder what direction they will take next. Will they add furniture to the houses, as yet sadly lacking? This might reduce the amount of detail they put into the house itself. Will they continue to include vehicles, or gimmicks like sound and light bricks? Personally I think there's room in either CREATOR or CITY for a furniture set, where you can build a variety of different items (sofa, kitchen, bed, piano...). That's something I'd love to see, and it might help TLC in their quest to attract more girls -
Hi legoboy007, and welcome to Eurobricks. Please take note that bumping of old threads is generally frowned upon, unless you have something significant to add. Also please pay attention to your grammar and capitalisation, and take the time to read the site guidelines, a link to which can be found in my signature. Thanks!

Now that we know daddy was loyal, it looks like he was merely trying to rouse us into activity, but I admit your reasoning was, well, reasonable. It is this outspoken trust which has me uneasy. I don't know how we can trust anyone - I certainly don't trust anyone but myself. There are people who are coming out with some sound arguments, who may seem more loyal, but we know that is just how the non-loyals will try to act. For myself, I will look again carefully at what everyone has said, but I haven't seen any obvious clues yet. Have we still no information from the night?
-
No, that stood out to me too. Could this be a clue? Fuchsia gives a list of possible suspects missing the rather obvious choice of Amy, and when she finally speaks up, Amy states that she finds Fuchsia trustworhty. Hmmm... it looks like an alliance, which in this room without privacy might be suspicious. But would the non-loyals do anything so obvious? It's certainly worth thinking about. Unfortunately, we have to point fingers if we're to get anywhere today, even though there isn't much to go on.
-
Hmmm. This sounds very much like a commission to me, and as we don't allow new members to trade until they've been on the site for a time, I've locked the thread for now. I would suggest you introduce yourself to EB here, and join in around the forums; people might be more likely to respond once they are more familiar with you. Thanks!

It's easy to say that now he's dead and we know he was loyal. I'm sure if he were still alive we'd be demanding an explanation from him. Though I must say I had Henry down yesterday as likely loyal, given how proactive he was. Again, easy for me to say now Really? I think it would be unlikely for Henry to point fingers at Petra if they were both scum. Henry's death does make Petra look suspicious, but would the she do something that obvious? Or is it a double-bluff? Gah.
-
Daddy? What have we done? How could I have doubted you? And Uncle Henry too? He was always so kind to me I'll need to think carefully about what was said yesterday, and why these nasty people targeted poor Uncle Henry. And maybe someone has some information from the night to help us?

Oooh, nice! Lovely contouring on the tail and engine, though the cockpit looks a little flat. I'll echo KDM in appreciating the colour scheme which fits this military heli perfectly
-
Interesting and colourful! Nice part usage of the octopus piece. What sort of rocket is it meant to be? At the moment it's looking a little Sci-Fi (rather than military) so I might move it there, unless you convince me otherwise

Rufus replied to SilentMode's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is already being discussed over in Special Themes. Please continue your discussion there! I'll lock this thread and move/merge it later. -
Thanks grohl for saving me a job!

A lovely MOC realisation of an old classic! If you have any more funny photos of collectible minifigs, be sure to post them in this thread . This is more of a MOC, so I've left its own thread for now.

Hey, that's nice! I agree not really steampunky (insufficient brown for that ) but it certainly has a workmanlike appeal, while at the same time using some tasteful greebling - particularly the cheese graters on the sides. I also like how you've used those half-cylinders as hoppers - and they even tip!

Rufus replied to areyn11111's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Hello areyn11111, and welcome to Eurobricks. Generally, we don't allow sales topics from new members in order to reduce the number of people who post simply to sell something and then leave. I can see how this might apply in your case, even though it sounds like the item in question might well be of interest to members. Here's what I suggest: You won't be able to use the personal messenger system until you've made 10 posts, at which point you'll be able to use the Buy/Sell/Trade/Finds forum as well. In the meantime, how about introducing yourself here, and perhaps post a thread with pictures of your creation in the appropriate forum, in order to generate some interest? I would advise against highlighting that it is 'for sale' at first, as this will discourage people from replying. Instead, show it off as a MOC. I'd also strongly advise against posting your email address on a forum which is visible to the public, and I have removed this from your post. For now, I will lock this thread and move to BSTF; I can open it again for you when you've made 10 posts (let me know by PM). And when you do come to sell it, pictures are a must Thanks and enjoy the forums! Rufus -
Thanks for posting this! I'd suggest deeplinking a few more pics though - the awesome details are kinda lost on this one pic

PrairieMod.com has posted news of the launch of a new LEGO Architecture set, Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House: This is now official! Share your thoughts in the Special Themes Forum! Thanks to EB member ie10421 for bringing this to our attention, and Fellow Fugazi for the picture and further information. Further thanks to FBTB for high-res images, and to P4trickvH and grogall for sourcing.

You should post that MOC here on EB, looks fantastic! This news is unexpected, and certainly looks genuine. I'll merge this thread with the existing news topic shortly. Edit: merged.... and frontpaged

Great stuff, grohl, keep them coming! I particularly like the bee - an imaginative use of leaves there!
