  1. Let me go on record saying that you're paranoid about me so you will vote anyone but my strongest suspicions.
  2. I still have doubts about lynching Jack, because of that Hazel vote on him Day 4. On the other hand, there's good chance Jack is the SK and Hazel wouldn't have known that. Vote: Jack Pine (mostlytechnic) Why would be a Godfather be upset at being investigated?
  3. I meant you, but because you have two credible votes on scum. So you're not in the list of people who have one. Sorry, that was confusing.
  4. Oh I see, you mean that I might have voted Hazel because at that point there were 4 votes for Peter and 3 for Hazel. Well, everyone is in the same boat then. Except William, he didn't vote either. If you want to dismiss all the late bandwagoning votes and possibly token votes on scum, then look at this: Simon: Alistair / Catarina / Larry / Hazel / Berty Bruce: Alistair / Catarina / Larry / no vote / Berty Sue: Alistair / Catarina / Larry / Hazel / Berty William: Bruce / Maggie / Simon / Simon / Berty Sammy: Bruce / Catarina / Berty / Hazel / Berty Lassie: Bruce / Catarina / Larry / Hazel / Berty Jack: Hazel / Catarina / Barry / Hazel / Berty Adelaide: Alistair / Nash / Larry / Peter / Berty I think we all stand at one credible vote on scum, except William and you. Edit: William didn't vote for either
  5. Except that I had the 4th vote on Hazel out of eight required to lynch, so I don't know by what criteria you can dismiss my vote.
  6. It goes like this: 21g2 = 21st vote, g=Goliath, 2nd vote for Goliath. Underlined = hammering vote.
  7. I tried fixing, but it's taking forever. I'll give you something else instead, give me a minute. Hope it will be clear enough.
  8. There you go... but it needs some fixing
  9. One more argument against Jack being scum: Hazel's vote on Day 4. I know that Hazel was probably parroting Simon on that, but it didn't look like she was trying to cast a token vote on a teammate. As for Jack being the SK, that's a definite possibility I guess. That's correct, she voted for Hazel only after Hazel was lynched. I took her off the list on the grounds of her late switch, and don't mention her among the suspects later on.
  10. I like to think that I was instrumental in steering Hazel's bandwagon as well the previous day, and in case anyone didn't notice the two cases were tightly linked. We lynched Hazel because we were very suspicious of Berty. The only logical action after Hazel flipping "unknown" was to lynch Berty. So if I also was instrumental in lynching Berty, it was because the suspicions I among others brought up against Hazel proved to be valid. If you want to think I was trying to steer the votes away from Peter, there's not much I can tell you to refute the idea. You did the same, first voting for Maggie then Hazel. I thought my conclusions were obvious. I said that I didn't believe Simon was scum. I'm not scum either. That leaves William, Jack and Lassie who in my mind have cast suspicious votes on Day 4. Actually Jack was added when considering that Hazel could have been town, but I don't really believe that theory. So that leaves William and Lassie. The Vengeful business left me with the feeling that William was town. In the light of the suspicions voiced by Simon, out of this list it's you I suspect the most. What bandwagon are you talking about? The one lynching Hazel? Eventually Simon and Lassie switched their vote to the bandwagon, is that what you're saying? It's true, I don't normally start off a game accusing you!
  11. Indeed: 1.Berty votes Peter (1) 2.Simon votes Nash (1) 3.William votes Simon (1) 4.Sue votes Peter (2) 5.Waldorf votes Hazel (1) 6.Simon votes Jack (1) 7.Hazel votes Jack (2) 8.Simon votes Nash (1) 9.Berty votes Chester (1) 10.Hazel votes Hazel (2) 11.Jack votes Hazel (3) 12.Lassie votes Maggie (1) 13.Adelaide votes Peter (2) 14.Nash votes Peter (3) 15.Hazel votes Chester (2) 16.Simon votes Hazel (3) 17.Berty votes Peter (4) 18.Sammy votes Hazel (4) 19.Hazel votes Hazel (5) 20.Lassie votes Hazel (6) 21.Peter votes Hazel (7) 22.Maggie votes Hazel (8 = lynch) 23.Nash votes Hazel (9) 24.Sue votes Hazel (10) But why bring up Peter at all, when there were other non-Maple targets to choose from? Same question about Sue? Ah but Hazel can't be the SK. Never mind.
  12. Ok, I had missed that. Yes. Here's the corrected vote progression on Day 4: 1.Berty votes Peter (1) 2.Simon votes Nash (1) 3.William votes Simon (1) 4.Sue votes Peter (2) 5.Waldorf votes Hazel (1) 6.Simon votes Jack (1) 7.Hazel votes Jack (2) 8.Simon votes Nash (1) 9.Berty votes Chester (1) 10.Hazel votes Hazel (2) 11.Jack votes Hazel (3) 12.Lassie votes Maggie (1) 13.Adelaide votes Peter (2) 14.Nash votes Peter (3) 15.Hazel votes Chester (2) 16.Simon votes Hazel (3) 17.Berty votes Peter (4) 18.Sammy votes Hazel (4) 19.Hazel votes Hazel (5) 20.Lassie votes Hazel (6) 21.Peter votes Hazel (7) 22.Maggie votes Hazel (8 = lynch) 23.Nash votes Hazel (9) 24.Sue votes Hazel (10) Assuming for now that Hazel is scum. I'm not privy to information that would make me think otherwise, but let's just say that Berty's insistance is troubling. So, who of the living players "fought" against Peter's lynch? Simon and William (when there was 1 vote against Peter), Simon again (2 votes against Peter), Jack and Lassie later on, Simon (3 votes against Peter), myself (4 votes against Peter), Lassie and Sue. BUT, it doesn't make that much sense for Maples to split votes between one of their own, because either way the vote goes they're losing a member. So only Simon, William and Lassie suggested potentially non-Maple targets. Simon is largely cleared by now, that leaves William and Lassie with relatively early votes in a non-Maple direction. What about if Hazel is Oak? 1.Berty votes Peter (1) 2.Simon votes Nash (1) 3.William votes Simon (1) 4.Sue votes Peter (2) 5.Waldorf votes Hazel (1) 6.Simon votes Jack (1) 7.Hazel votes Jack (2) 8.Simon votes Nash (1) 9.Berty votes Chester (1) 10.Hazel votes Hazel (2) 11.Jack votes Hazel (3) 12.Lassie votes Maggie (1) 13.Adelaide votes Peter (2) 14.Nash votes Peter (3) 15.Hazel votes Chester (2) 16.Simon votes Hazel (3) 17.Berty votes Peter (4) 18.Sammy votes Hazel (4) 19.Hazel votes Hazel (5) 20.Lassie votes Hazel (6) 21.Peter votes Hazel (7) 22.Maggie votes Hazel (8 = lynch) 23.Nash votes Hazel (9) 24.Sue votes Hazel (10) Now we have Simon, William, Jack, Lassie and me voting away from Peter, so basically the same suspects as above plus Jack and myself. Even if by some weird circumstances Hazel happens to be town, we're pretty much looking at the same trees. I guess that Hazel could be the SK... Would that agree with your analysis of Hazel, Berty? You can add the Day 4 vote to that list. You voted for Peter early on on Day 4, which would be rather risky for scum. Unless you were pretty sure that the writing was on the wall for Hazel so it wouldn't matter. The rest of my analysis from yesterday about Sue token voting Adelaide still stands, in a pattern reminiscent of Alastain and Hazel. Unless Hazel is town.
  13. I don't agree with you on Peter's alignment. We don't know how neutral players are treated after death, and Peter has a 50/50 chance to be the SK. Unless you want to argue that he can't be the SK because he hasn't been stumped? So I find it difficult to analyse the Day 4 votes because there's still some doubt regarding Peter's allegiance. Do the stumps think that a neutral player would also be stumped? I'm not sure I'm following your thought process. What actually makes you think that Peter was a Maple? That would be like... everybody? Now why can't you be a useful stump and actually do some work, instead of suggesting that other people should look at patterns?
  14. Whoa, that was unexpected. I need to reconsider my theories, though with Peter's death there's plenty of new information to digest. This forest is crazy.
  15. Sue me. Get it? Sue! I was talking about Hazel. You will be the fourth janitored tree.
  16. Vote: Berty Birch (Dragonfire) Now let's move on to better things. Most trees who are not Maples agree by now that the "janitored" players are scum. The suspicious interactions between two janitored trees and Hazel led us to the lynch of a third janitored tree, what more evidence is needed? It's now interesting to take a look at yesterday's voting patterns which led to a successful lynch. Who pushed for a different lynch? 1.Berty votes Peter (1) 2.Simon votes Nash (1) 3.William votes Simon (1) 4.Sue votes Peter (2) 5.Waldorf votes Hazel (1) 6.Simon votes Jack (1) 7.Hazel votes Jack (2) 8.Simon votes Nash (1) 9.Berty votes Chester (1) 10.Hazel votes Hazel (2) 11.Jack votes Hazel (3) 12.Lassie votes Maggie (1) 13.Adelaide votes Peter (2) 14.Nash votes Peter (3) 15.Hazel votes Chester (2) 16.Simon votes Hazel (3) 17.Berty votes Peter (4) 18.Sammy votes Hazel (4) 19.Hazel votes Hazel (5) 20.Lassie votes Hazel (6) 21.Peter votes Hazel (7) 22.Maggie votes Hazel (8 = lynch) 23.Nash votes Hazel (9) 24.Sue votes Hazel (10) Now follow me: The day starts with scummy Berty voting for confusing Peter. After a few votes left and right, Sue also votes Peter. Then pressure builds on scummy Hazel. After Jack votes (3rd vote for Hazel), Adelaide and Nash vote Peter while Hazel changes her vote. Now Peter has 3 votes, Hazel 2. When Simon votes for Hazel (3rd vote), scummy Berty gives Peter the lead again (4). Only when Maggie hammers Hazel's lynch do Nash and Sue switch their votes on Hazel. Adelaide doesn't bother. If you asked me who fought against the Hazel lynch, I would say that Berty, Adelaide, Nash and Sue all did their best to promote the lynch of Peter instead of Hazel. Just saying. Do you remember the cunning strategy used by scummy Alastair on Day 1 to distance himself from scummy Hazel? Let's play it again: Catarina saw through this token voting right away, and Alastair was history. Too bad that we didn't realize back then that "unknown alignment" meant dead scum. Anyway, turns out that Alastair wasn't the only one casting token votes. Early Day 1, let's see how Sue did: Poking Adelaide. Much, much later, when the writing was on the wall for Alastair, Sue came back and decided that Adelaide had endured enough pressure already. Note in red the mention to scrutinize Hazel should Alastair turn up as scum. Of course Alastair was "janitored", so no further mention of Hazel is made by Sue the next day. Okay, we've seen token votes and empty threats by Alasdair, Sue... I hear you asking, what about Nash and Adelaide? Check this out, appearing totally out of the blue on Day 2, with 6 votes against Catarina: Another token vote when the momentum against Catarina was strong and there was no chance whatsoever of stopping that lynch from happening. Just some food for thought, as today's lynch is pretty much sealed and we're looking forward to lynching more scum on Day 6.
  17. I had to make sure that Hazel wasn't a misguided Oak: What did Hazel do? She replied that he really thought of giving up, which was the unlikeliest of answers. Scrolling back a few pages: Reevaluate herself? I call BS. It's bad acting and she should have at least admitted to it. But she stuck to her lie after I offered her to come out with the truth. Then Berty the Miller kept defending Hazel against all odds, and for me it was the last straw. This stubborn solidarity had to be tested, so I voted. Coming from you, I'd say this is rather reassuring for the town block. We can and should lynch you because we can only trust a Miller's behaviour to speak for their alignment. There's no way the Oaks can keep around a Miller who's been behaving erratically. A claiming Miller must keep a flawless record in order to survive. edit: *she* really thought of giving up
  18. Hovered over Alder? Do you think that only Alastair was scum?
  19. You're not addressing the real issue: why is it that two trees of unknown allegiance, and a miller, are all trying to keep you out of trouble? Besides, it's typical of scum to throw random lists of names before they're lynched. Didn't you want to get lynched in order to help us from the afterlife? If so, there's no need to list your suspicions now, you're going to be around tomorrow to tell us about it, right?
  20. Damn, that was Jack. Stupid phone, can't read properly. Well, forget the latter part.
  21. So do I. I find this connection between Hazel and Berty unsettling. Moreover, after stating muliple times that he thinks that Hazel is Oak, Berty adds that he considers going after her tomorrow. Make up your mind now. Vote: Hazel Hazelnut (Goliath)
  22. Let me explain this again, and I'll try not to mix up the names this time! You started by pretending you're giving up, wanting to be lynched. Fair enough. I told you that I thought you were either 1) Oak seting up a trap for Maples; 2) Maple acting like he was a Jester; 3) a real Jester; or 4) Maple acting like crazy so that we dismiss him as Oak. Right then you turned around, pretending you don't want to be lynched anymore. I accused you of jumping one one of the options I gave you, the one that made you look useful (Oak setting up a trap). Maybe you were afraid of your plan backfiring. Maybe you are option 5) a Maple setting up a trap for Oaks. In any case, the weirdness of your behaviour pretty much justifies voting for you (options 2-4-5 above), so I'm still trying to figure out what kind of game you're playing. I wasn't talking about your jumping on a player, but rather jumping on a chance to abandon your plan. At this point I don't care about Jack, because as I said above your scheme doesn't prove anything.
  23. So you basically acknowledge my first theory above? Or are you jumping on it, because the other options make you look bad? Not to mention, get you lynched.
