Mike S Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I am impressed by all the great Kaliphlin entries. Awesome job guys! Quote
robuko Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Totally agree with Mike. Awesomeness from the Kali entries so far! Quote
Gabe Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I am impressed by all the great Kaliphlin entries. Awesome job guys! Same here! I knew it was going to be a flurry of activity, but it's been so great to see all the deGothia collab entries rolling in. And us Kali peeps make up over half of that group. Go us! Quote
Strelki Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Is that a white sculpture or animal skeleton on the roof? Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Is that a white sculpture or animal skeleton on the roof? White sculpture/town mascot. And managed a Cat. A! Quote

Gabe Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Nice free builds legoman and nightstalker! Heeey everyone... how are you all doing? I've finally caught up on all the challenge entries now, so yay, but only managed it cause i'm sick and confined to bed for a few days, so boo. I am plotting something for the Sultan's gate community build now, not sure what, but i want to take it to a show in a couple of weeks so i better get cracking! Anyone else building stuff, or just taking a break after the challenge? Quote
Maxim I Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Hahaha, I had finally the time to go through all the entries yesterday :D I have my degree of Real Estate Broker since Wednesday (yeeeeey, I am graduated :D :D ). As a present for myself, I ordered 3200 bricks on bricklink (160€ in total) so tomorrow I will start building the University of Mpya Stedor Quote
Scaevola Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I'm waiting for a few bricklink orders, then I'm going to aim to construct a moc for SG, along with some freebuilds Quote
Gideon Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Congratulations DM! I'm still traveling in North America post-Brickworld. I have the bricks from my lighthouse as well as a ton of PaB parts and a few unboxed sets in my luggage...just hoping it all can get on the plane on Tuesday without being too expensive I might be able to do a small SG build in July when I'm back home for a few days, but it looks like I will be away from my bricks again for most of the time until mid-August. Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I'm planning on a SG build too... but then I've been planning that for the past couple months and haven't gotten very far! Right now I'm working on a microscale village & castle, about 40 by 30 studs (mostly SNOT, so I'm not sure of the exact size). Should be done in a little under a week, max. Quote
Nightstalker Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Just sticking to freebuilds every Wednesday. Quote

Nice Gideon, glad to hear you are having fun in the US. I've been taking some of my recent mocs to shows too, but only locally - certainly nothing as cool as Brickworld! DungeonsAndFlagons Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Just sticking to freebuilds every Wednesday. I am with Gabe on that one. I have done one Free Build so far and have not even had time to read what the challenges are, let alone build something for one, so I tip my hat to you sir. Quote
Maxim I Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Congrats Damaximus! Ooh, setting up an institution to rival Petraea Uni hey? Kai NRG Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 My latest free build. Not the micro castle and village I was talking about. That one is marching right along, but it will probably be a couple of days yet! Quote
Scaevola Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Looking great so far DM. The mushroom dome looks good on the pillars, and I like how the structure is built around a body of water Quote
synbiote Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 @Damaximus: make sure people can't "break" your pool again :).. & congratulations.. now you can start to find a job..making money. and spending more on LEGO :) Quote

Scaevola Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Nice to see some more free builds . I'll have my Sultan's Gate entry up tomorrow or the next day. I was going to photograph it today, but a gust of wind instigated my backdrop to demolish the build, and the sun went down while I was reconstructing it Quote
