Those are very good questions. Sadly I have no idea what to answer. The droid could be blue, sure they could do that and perhaps it's printed. This is all a guessing game, I suggest searching the internet for pics of the droid as it appears in the CW, that might lead os on how it could finally look as a lego design. We are still not sure if this is a real set, yet.

That would be great. A BP with a useful addition. I hope you're right in assuming that. It would certainly raise the quality of the BPs. So far we've not gotten anything useful alongside the minifigs (my personal opinion). I think we might be getting a few different clones. Just like the former BP. A mix of clone pilots, regular clones and a commander of some sort. I'd love to get more pilots - I like the yellow stripe on the helmet.

I'm pretty sure TLG have a different opinion on that. And they do have talented designers - who do you think designs the Cafe Corner, Statue of Liberty, Star Wars and other sets, they produce? - Children? Why so agressive? If you find LEGO that bad, then just switch to another brand. Send the mail and see what happens.

Except for the fact that the machines never stop. So that is doubtful if anything. Mold testing it is - that and when starting up a machine after a mold change they usually use a different colour than intended. That makes the "start up" pieces easy to find and get rid of.

It is a great set. But I'd rather buy me 20 Dwarves' Mine Defenders and get 40 Orcs and 20 Dwarves. Still I'd love to own this - it's a stunning set. But I know I'll never use it for anything as more minifigs and a pair of baseplates. Still I gave it a 4- Above Average. Lots of great bricks there.

Agreed. It's truly awesome. I wish I had clean access to my bricks and a proper workspace. Then I'd hopefully be able to do something like that in time.

After some reconsideration I've come to the conclusion that this belongs here. A little fast on moving this one I'll reopen it. I'm sure that this has been discussed before and we ended up with the fact that it's nearly impossible to fix bricks with toothmarks, unless you want very small bricks. Also a member did some cool decolouring of yellowed white bricks. A topic I can't seem to find right now. Anyways post your Q's and A's here I'll edit the title of this topic to be a little more suitable for the discussion

I have it and I even have folder in my BS Gallery for it. But I never built it. It's a "bad" set in my opinion and therefore I sadly can't help you. I even tried a google search and searched peeron.com and bricket.com for better pics. No luck. I'll keep searching and post anything I find here.

Hopefully it will. I got the "new" LEGO catalogue for Denmark the other day and it does NOT feature the Droid Gunship or the Fighter Tank. So let's cheer for a non-limited-exclusive sert here. Also I actually think this is a great "Large Battle Pack" with some super additions to our Clone Armies.

I hope that the rumoured Clone Battle Pack will be priced as the existing BPs and contain the same amount of figs/bricks. In the Comic Con thread someone implied that the new BP might be the same as the one put into the Comic Con Exclusive. If so, then it'll surely become a best seller. [and don't be sorry - I am not mad, just trying to gently push you guys back on topic ]

That's a very fine letter. I'd send it to LEGO Customer Services if I was you. You can find the emal section here. I know that they are very happy for any feedback they can get and all feedback is registered and circulated within TLG. So send them the mail, but do not expect much of an answer - since it's a game of registering and dividing your feedback to the proper workgroups within TLG, it would be nearly impossible to create an answer. You'll probably get the "neutral" thanks for your comments, we'll look into it. And they will. Hope thish helps

Now why do you insist on having me quote myself? Please feel free to continue this in the embassy. Actually I suggest starting a topic on this here, as I am sure a lot of members would gladly discuss and talk about it. TLC is in this business for money. I think we all know that. I don't work for free...well, except as a Moderator on Eurobricks. Let's just discuss the sets, this price discussion hasn't really got anything to do with LEGO Star Wars. Also the price for manufacturing different colours are very different. That's why the chrome light sabre hilt was replaced by the grey version.

I doubt it since the Star Wars movies began in 1976 which is some 20 years before LEGO got the license. A great story though, but not real. Sorry
