  1. Good call. We need to get more builds in the capital! After challenge 3 I hope to get a few builds done for Albion. Hinck does havea hammer and he ain't afraid to use it. He is tough, but fair. You'll be fine so long as you try not to say things just to incite discontent. I think you know what's up. I would just try to not post when you are feeling upset and everything will be okay.
  2. Heehee- though it shouldn't be all about winning and losing- for the moment, we are ahead. I think DC always knew where we stood, he was just letting the other guilds have their moment in the sun!
  3. Thanks guys. I am mostly happy with how it turned out. Getting the branches attached was a chore, and then getting them to look something like a tree with the leaves was another problem entirley. I would have liked to make the tree more full looking, but I ran out of leaves! The branches are a little too "2-dimensional" for my liking, but I it would have been a big task get them to look more "rounded" without making them so heavy they would snap off the trunk. The trunks are a little thin... I could have thickened them up a bit, but I needed to move on to other things. Zakon shall be joining Trian on the next leg of the journey. No ETA on it, but I hope to get Chapter 2 done before Challenge 3 is due so I can also get in on that. Still no idea what I am building for that!
  4. Yeah team! Good work guys! I finally finished this stupid tree that has been plaguing me, so I hope to get back to building whats I build soon!
  5. Lord Artorious Rex, I pray this letter, sent by the Green Riders, finds you in good health and spirits. As you have commanded, de Gothia, Lord of Benioc, and I begin our search for the Elemental Crystal and we have traveled deep into the Enchanted Forest to seek the counsel of the lost Stag Clan. Your father has undoubtedly told you the tale of his and my great adventures in the Enchanted Forest, when you were but a hope in your mother’s heart. Your father and I came to the Stag Clan’s aide many years ago, during Avalonia’s lost years, when rogues and ruffians from the House of Baine ravaged the Enchanted Forest for their own greedy gains. It was said the House of Baine sought the Druid’s treasure and hoped to use the treasure as a weapon to drain the life from all of Historica and not as the gift the Druid’s intended. If it were not for the wisdom of the woods granted to us by the Stag Clan, the princes of the forest, we may never have defeated the House of Baine or united the clans of the forest under your House’s banner. Not but two nights ago we were greeted by the Stag Clan’s chieftain, Huntsman Raman. Even though many years have passed and youth has out grown my weary face, the chieftain still calls me by the name your father bestowed upon me, “the Green Knight”. Huntsman Raman revealed he too senses our great world has been pushed to the edge of the abyss and teeters on the brink of war. Raman’s own mystic has visions of the Enchanted Forest engulfed in flames, the Siccus badlands flooded and drenched in blood, Mount Mitgard razed to the ground and the Moruth Swamplands filled with the corpses of every guild of Historica. His mystic says neither the location of the crystal nor the means of Historica’s destruction is known to him. Even with his great gift of foresight, the crystal and our enemy remains cloaked in shadow. Raman, however, has not forgotten your father’s great efforts to free the forest from the House of Baine and he has pledged his banner to our young Guild. He assures me any call from the Guild of Avalonia will be answered by his clan. Lord de Gothia and I now part ways. He ventures to Kaliphlin were it is reported a great sandstorm has revealed an enormous tomb lost in time. The tomb is said to contain the writings of the old Kings of the Desert. Though only a Kaliphlin Lord may find the Elemental Crystal there, the writings profess to know the end of our time, and I suspect the writings may relate to the crystals. I travel onward to the Mystic Isles to seek out a great and powerful wizard rumored to have recovered an ancient Druid artifact. I do not know if this artifact is the Elemental Crystal, but I must follow every lead we encounter. I have called upon Zakon Goldblade to accompany me to the wizard’s island. Though only the Water Folk are capable of navigating the passage ways in the Isles, I may need a wizard of my own to get past any enchantments placed upon the lands. Your loyal servant, Trian Burress Avalonian Heroes: de Gothia and Trian Burress Enemies Defeated: None Alliance Forged: lost Stag Clan Items Acquired: None Chapter 1: The Forgotten House Chapter 2: Wizard's Tower (not posted) Chapter 3: Keeper's Tomb (challenge 3 entry) Chapter 4: Altar of Hardool
  6. No prob- should be up now!
  7. Patient flare. It will be up soon!!
  8. don't let 'em in! get 'em!!
  9. Ahh... Beery... you feeling okay? Anyhow I like the color combo and the interesting shape. It is small, but JC did say this was a "modest" merchant's house after all. Good job!
  10. ?? Guess I need to learn more Rick Astly songs.
  11. Some may say you are compensating... and I know it isn't guild envy...
  12. That is how I roll.
  13. Yes, I agree, you are also annoying. OH SNAP! I edited mine down a bit, though I decided to leave Rick in there for good measure.
  14. in the words of Borat- very niiiiice [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  15. lizard poisons Spock, Spock vaporizes rock... It's long, but it isn't overly tall. I think technically the number of photos is illegal. It does get annoying on my phone though...
  16. Hammer beats hat every time.
  17. We've been served! If you are considering ignoring Mr. Fabuland, remember Hinckley has a giant hammer and he ain't afraid to use it.
  18. I think Storel got it all right- but just to cofirm... Do whatever you want. There maybe some restrictions on using non-LEGO pieces for challeneges, but you can ask about that when the challenges happen. Totally encouraged. As stated, you won't be getting us any challenge points for those builds, but they can still be free builds. We haven't had any free builds scored at all. I think that is cause the other guilds are scared of our free building prowess!!
  19. Good point Horry. You will always get more discussion if you have a picture in the first post of the thread instead of just a link. edit your first post, click on the insert picture icon and then put in this text: media.snimka.bg/s1/0190/026624423.jpg that should get your photo in there!
  20. A good starting WIP. A few suggestion if I may... I would flip the door hinge so it is on the inside of the build. The color scheme up top seems a little dark. It may just be the lighting though. I can't tell if it is dark brown and dark red, or dark brown and reddish brown.
  21. Drunken Green Trebuchet Champion of Avalonia- After I joined GoH, built a trebuchet and got that fancy green star. Have you Heard? Go Herd! - received for misspelling herd after the NDSU Bison won the NCAA Division I FCS nation title in "hand egg" also known as football in the US. Sig pics or it didn't happen - received when it was pointed out I have too many sig pics- and still haven't fixed that...
  22. Great build. I really like this. The little details are really good. The lighting is really solid too. Must be spring time in Indiana.
  23. Yes! I haven't tried it myself, but I have a feeling you can do some great things with that technique!
  24. Nice work. Even though this is only the second interior I have seen from you, the feel is still very you. Good lighting on this one as well. Seems like you have figured that part out. One thing I would consider is how to make a floor that is as "studless" as possible. Maybe tile everything or use a SNOT technique or something to liven it up.
  25. No need to worry- I was not seeking a mention- I just wanted you to know I noticed it!
