The pictures aren't working for me- anyone else not seeing them?
-
A few of these figures are my favs! I love the Lurikeen, Bloodborne (though the colors are very Kaliphliny) and the Rage.
-
And second and third- a Varlyrian giant frog! The frog actually looks much better IRL because it is easier to pose the legs. I haven't decided if they will both be green, or if one of you will get one with a little different coloration. PMs to come soon.

Siege of Ceòbanach Dùn - Chapter III C

Nice Treb me boy! Love it. -
Sounds really interesting Thrash. I'd love to see some of those custom parts you've generated like the dummy and the bed posts. Good work brother.

Sweet build ME!

In a split decision- we have a winner. In a 1 to 1 to 2 decision, the winner is... INFERNUM! Working on the second and third place prize. Greta builds from all!
-
Good news- we have narrowed down the entries to the top 3. We're duking it out now to determine a winner. Lots of other members got nods for having awesome entries but in the running for top spot: Emma Gabe Infernum I have determined the runners-up will also receive a small prize for their awesome work.

Good call! Still, I would prefer answers to the rules of the contest come from Moderators so there is no confusion. The idea here is that these look like a collectable minifigure series, so please stick with the minifigure stand if you have them. If you don't, you can make a substitute black base that is 3 studs by 4 studs.

Erm- who put you in charge? This is really Ecc's contest, but stepping in as co-History MOD here to answer... It's not in the rules, so no, you don't have to be. But maybe you should think about joining seeing how GoH ALWAYS has fun contests running! The important part is if you want to vote, you have to be registered before the contest began.

Very nicely done.

Sounds good to me. Let's see the build!

Still in full swing!

As per the EB rules, let's discuss the MOC primarily and the Ideas side of it should remain secondary.

A good project for Ideas and an excellent MOC. Thanks for sharing Disco.

1. Quoting pictures is indeed a no-no unless there is something very specific about the image you are discussing. 2. Telling people not to quote images is a job for a regulator or a mod. Please use the "report" button for that kind of thing in the future. 3. Promoting your own Ideas projects is dangerous territory. While I think it benefits the community to mention good ones you've seen out there, self promotion of Ideas projects (beyond a link in your signature or a single link in the discussion of the MOC itself) will be dealt with swiftly by moderators. It is in the site guidelines, so read those if you are unsure what is or is not allowed. Here is the guideline for those who haven't read it before: LEGO Ideas: If you have a great MOC, that is also a LEGO Ideas project, you may present it on EB as you would any MOC, with a single link to the Ideas entry. Make the title about the MOC, not the Ideas business; don't be too shouty, and it is likely to be tolerated. You need to be thinking: 'I want people on EB to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll support it on LEGO Ideas', rather than: 'I want Ideas support! If I post it on EB, perhaps more people will vote!.

I like the project, but EB has strict rules about LEGO Ideas projects. While you can have an Ideas project on EB, but the forum is mainly to discuss the MOC itself and not as an outlet to drum up support. Since this MOC already HAS a thread in History, I am going to have to close this topic. However, I would encourage everyone to still support this project if they should so feel and Disco, you can add the project to your signature line if you wish to encourage support.

Super sweet!

This build is a bit old. Please only bring an older topic back to life if you have something substantial to contribute and not merely to say the MOC is good. Thank you.

The taakin, often times referred to as the "wolf lizard", is a large lizard creature found in the mountain regions of Nocturnus. The taakin is a biped animal with excellent leaping abilities making it an ideal mount for use in the mountainous regions of Nocturnus and Mitgardia. Males taakins are distinguished from females by their slightly larger builds, extra horns on their heads and brighter coloration. All taakins are born green but change color as they age. Female taakins vary in color from black to brown while their male counterparts vary in color from green to purple. Both genders continue to have a green ring around their eyes in their birthing color. Here is an artist's interpretation of a blue taakin with a saddle but no rider.
-
It's like a regular Taakin, but blue.
-
The discussion is beginning shortly- a little announcement on the prize... one of your guild leaders is supplying a mount to the winner- the rare "Blue Taakin"- complete with rider to the winner!

*shrug* If you design a great banner post deadline we may still be compelled to use it someday.
