Okay this is a final reminder before the moderator stick comes out. Quoting in this forum is out of control. Here is a note from one of our admins on quoting posts. This means we need to stop quoting long posts to make a short reply, stop quoting images unless it is needed, and you probably don't need to quote a post that is directly above the one you are responding to. It makes the pages unnecessarily long and difficult to read.

With the movie out in early December, it would seem about time. I would suspect TRU will be carrying the sets by early November, so pictures can't be too far away.

Back in the day when we were all the Avalonian 2 initial crew, I called him DC. We had DC, ZC, dG, MB, LD, BB, ZM... we even called Avalonia "Av" But then some of us got kicked out of Av. I now think those of us who got the boot got it because we no longer fit the two initial theme. Everyone just calls me Z, LD dropped the D, and I now call BB "CBB" to give him his proper title and distinguish with the former Mitgardian new Avalonian BB. I guess ya'll are just prejudiced against those of us who don't roll with the two initials anymore.

All the rumors are awesome! I guess we'll have to see.

It won't. Someone could win twice. I have looked at all the entries and there were some great stories, some great minifigures, some great pictures, some great lighting... there are two or three that I have at the top of the list right now. You guys really showed some great MOCskills here.

Unlike the other guilds, Nocturnus is a fairly blank canvas right now. We do need some cities, so if you want to develop one, that would be excellent. Nocturnus is made up of many non-human "tribes" so if you want to create a legion of minotaurs or a band of orcs, this is the PERFECT guild for that.

Err... we're on more of a "sometime in October" schedule right now.

Yeah- black is a pain in the butt. The first build is going to be black and dark bley, though I do love dark red.

Excellent work Nocturnus. Loved it. So here's the scoop... The Core leaders are not quite ready for Challenge 1 to start due to other commitments. We are planning to launch October 15th (the 14th is holiday in the US, so hopefully I can get everything set up and ready to go). Maybe this little issue means we can have ANOTHER round of Tribes. I have some prizes to reward you guys. Not only will I be giving out the parts pack and trophy for the best entry submitted before yesterday, but I also have TWO copies of the Mirkwood spiders set. I think I will give out ONE of the spider sets for best tribe submitted before the October 1st deadline, and a second to the best one submitted between right now and end of day anywhere in the world October 15th. What do you guys think? Do you have enough juice to make MORE sweet tribes? Let's do it! First post updated with additional details. Come get your Mirkwood spiders guys!

But DC, I have so MUCH black to use... Black towers with skulls is really just how I have to do it for a while. Plus, I have one Nocturnus MOC and it isn't just Avalonia with a darker color scheme. I went full on new styling. I think this will be my approach. Try to develop something completely different like the ol' Nocty tower.
