  1. I agree, but it's not for sale at S@H yet. It could be just a glitch...
  2. I really don't understand K'nex. I always had a certain respect for them as K'nex did their own thing... but then they do this! I've seen a lot of these in stores and call me a closed-minded fanboy if you want, but they look horrid. K'nex really should stick to what they do well...
  3. Ahh, I remember this boat! I used it for a short time after I lost my Steamboat to those darn monkeys. (Never play poker with monkeys; it's amazing what they do with their tails...) It was always too small though; oodles of power, great handling (for everyone except Stauder), stunning looks... but it all comes to naught if there's no room for your catch. On a similar note, even fishing was a problem. Thus I bought my Tugboat... but thanks for the great review!
  4. Glad to see someone pays attention to me! Indeed you're right. So this is as strong as the Taj towers? (I'll have to buy this set!)
  5. Indeed! I got mine for $440 inc postage!
  6. Does any country have a price yet? I went here and checked a few countries but none had one. (It doesn't even show in the index for Australians. )
  7. I turned moved it to the LEGO Sci-Fi forum as it wasn't pre-production.
  8. **Walks away with a tear in one eye hoping that no-one notices**
  9. Well I'd rather not turn this into a debate; he is dead afterall and none of it matters anymore. Wth that I can agree. He was a person who never grew up; he just grew old. Thus he never should have been trusted with kids (including his own) as he would treat them as kid would. He was even worse with money. But that doesn't make him a bad person, and that's where I object. Seeing his actions from the point of view as someone who feels the need to act like a kid it was harmless, but since he quite clearly wasn't a kid anymore it does make it all odd to say the least. But I never believed he did anything illegal. Even so, I wouldn't have left my kids with him and any parent who did was an idiot.
  10. Beautiful! It's good to see your huge sorting job paid off! I especially love the stern. I have three questions; 1. Is it correct to have a grey deck? I would have thought tan or brown... 2. Does the famous CGH rigging actually work or is it just decorative? That is, can you angle and raise/lower the sails? 3. So what are you going to do with this now? Toilets? Toilets?! There are no toilets on ships, especially sail ships... Indeed! You can't take a MOC so seriously!
  11. I'm tempted to continue this conversation but I don't think I will. You've obviously looked into it and have your opinion.
  12. Great photos! I love seeing early MOC images. I am rather confused by the Voyager poster in the background though...
  13. ...says the man with a name based on dirty dried mucus. (I think Domo is cute!)
  14. Wow! I especially love the Power Minor wheel concepts.
  15. Most definitly a MOC; just look at some of the pieces. ... so I'll split this.
  16. He was found innocent you know. I do agree though that he was an odd person.... but what else should you expect from someone who was treated as an adult fron the age of 5? He never had a real childhood so he had very little chance to turn out normal.
  17. I don't even know what's new! No I don't but I checked and added one thing that I noticed was missing. Good work Darth_Legois!
  18. Indeed... and it was a good decision! It was almost as bad as the EN... Question answered so...
  19. Darn. He always did work too hard. I'm quite proud to say I've been a long term supporter of him and I still love (most of) his music. I hoped he would be able to make a comeback as he always had the talent... Rest in peace Michael. (Farrah Fawcett has died too...)
  20. So you just got you LEGO back and you're considering selling? The first thing I did was make a breast pump.
  21. Great work! I'd love a larger version of this....
  22. You'd be surprised! Currently I'm watching Ouran High School Host Club. I'll keep it in mind. I made the arms thicker and shorter at first, but then I decided he needed an elbow! Actually I wanted to but I didn't have enough pieces... Three good stories, but while the answer by Raven Brickroft is less funny, it does happen to be true. (Didn't anyone notice the link?)
  23. Thanks for the review! I'll have to keep it in mind as this set should be in my areas soon. I added the poll as ordered. (I voted Good / 4).
  24. If anyone wants more photos it's too late; this set has "accidently" fallen into the sorting bin!
