  1. Thanks for the great review of this set. It's very nice to see that big 90 degree curved pieve back. Surprisingly roomy 4WD too! I'm wishing I lived in the USA right about now...

    City '09?

I just PMed you about that!
  3. I'm talking about it to the staff. The problem is that there wasn't a lot of notes taken at the time.
  4. Is the way the old ones were done an option? (Personally I think it looks better without them.)
  5. Shhhh! If you look it up, Sam was on today and posted some news in the Star Wars forum last month and Apo was on last month and last posted in March. So it would seem they visit monthly or better. Happy now?
  6. Check yourself..
  7. Well the small one is about 1.5 cm x 1.5cm... or about half an inch for those primitive US types.
  8. You're no fun. I thought you liked it... Yes, but it really isn't that exciting. I try to annoy Hinckley or Jipay so they give me one, but it rarely works. Depends on how much Captain Zuloo the person whines. It's all a bit of fun but if the member isn't taking it well it isn't worth the bother.
  9. I know, but I'm not sure what one he means. Besides, if he wants to print it and put it on a flag, wouldn't he have the actual piece anyway?
  10. You really need to show more patience. Three posts in a row really isn't on. Anyway, what flag are you referring to? What set is it in? I might have one of the same size, but I must admit my pirates collection is pretty lame...
  11. Most became busy with other aspects of life. Apo and Sam are still around from time to time.
  12. I'll look into it. For a start, go here... They are there as well, but their Wikipedia page has been deleted!
  13. I didn't say that! But I would say that your old title didn't seem fair anymore.
  14. Thanks for the review. This set is important to me, as it was the set that I just had to have and thus was the first full-price set that I bought since I was a kid. It just seemed so great at the time... I made loads of mods to it and prior to me breaking it it looked like this; Why did I break if if I liked it so much? It's wide. Very wide. Six wide is good, 8 wide is big, 10 wide is huge and 12 wide is just plain silly. I could ignore the problems when I first bought it as I didn't have much Lego, but after a year of collecting it didn't fit in anymore. I'm actually considering re-building it as a 8 or 10 wide model.
  15. I've moved some posts to this topic. Please remember though to not turn this into a spam thread... You've had it for about a week!
  16. Yes, you're right. Please keep this topic for title questions only. The other topic is here. All title stories should be explained there... (I've moved a few of the recent posts there.)
  17. I prefer the new type; the old was stronger but it's usage was limited due to the lip. (I'm a bit confused as to why this topic is in History & Adventure; wouldn't "Pirates" for the short term, and "News and General Discussion" in the long term make more sense? Thus I'm moving this to Pirates until the part appears in a Castle set. Otherwise someone might miss this and create another topic... )
  18. I can't talk; I'm in the middle of at least 5 reviews... It's a good review by the way! I voted "Average" as I preferred (and bought) the first one.
  19. My mistake. Sorry. I thought that sold out months ago.
  20. It's been done before... but it's such a stunning set that it deserves another! Thanks!
  21. Indeed it is, so I will move it now!
  22. Thanks for the pictures. Could you post a picture of that base by itself, top and bottom? I think people want more opinions, and perhaps a rating.
  23. Bye bye spam-bot.
  24. It isn't a big problem, and I've already moved it. Since you were posting here I was waiting for you to do it... You must need a holiday!
