  1. As part of Indiana Jones Month we have two contests; Design your own Indy Movie! Think up a possible movie for Indy and make a and make a scene or set from it. Caption Contest We have an interesting Indy related picture; think of an interesting caption to go with it!
  2. Well, I don't own the set, but our member Dunamis did a great review here. Looking though it (and at my downloaded instructions) it seems the answer is no. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  3. That's interesting...
  4. The answer is sorta. If you can fit all into one picture then feel free, if not then don't. Remember that in the end only one picture is show in the voting topic and many people never look at the detailed entry. This means they will only take into consideration 1/3rd of your entry... Thanks. I must have missed that somehow...
  5. Ahh, but this was never about who was first, nor is it just about EB. But I've added him just the same!
  6. You're kidding? I thought it was a giveaway... I have signed up on Classic-Space with the same name but I haven't posted there yet. I plan to post there if/when I finish my next ship. OK, you asked for it! Most of this will be interior, with more built up all around. Yes, an exercise room is planned.
  7. Gee thanks everyone! I love stuffed toys of animals that aren't normally done. I have a decent collection of including crocodiles, sharks, spiders, the common cold, a nit, the pox, snakes, a turkey, cerberus (actually Fluffy, but I don't like Harry Potter), a lobster ... but I haven't got a walrus. Thanks for the pic!
  8. Thanks! Yes, I made a comment on that at Tabletown. Aside from minor changes Impatial is on hold, but I have bought some parts for it though. I am working on a larger ship at the moment, but it's too early for photos. No artificial gravity on that one either!
  9. Cool! I just looked and as you say, the entries for Category II should end up being similar. The prizes are great too. In case you are wondering, I didn't know this contest was on... It's just one of those coincidences! (I'm 1/2 Polish by the way. )
  10. My pleasure! This will either raise the bar or make people just give up! It's a shame that you posted it now though; 2 weeks earlier you could have called it "The Mega May Mayan Temple"! This really is excellent work, and it shows how much you have grown as a Lego builder. You've also done a great job of showing that the raised baseplates can be used well. I especially like the rock sculpture, although he looks too cute! I look forward to something incredible from you... in tan!
  11. I'll second that! I'll be buying this ASAP, probably via S@H. Thanks for the review Deinonychus and an extra special thanks for the strip show!
  12. Thanks for the review Batbrick. As you say, the prelim photos didn't do the final set justice. I'm still not sure if I'll buy this set though; but I'll be sure to come back to this review if I'm considering it in the future!
  13. Great review! This is such a must buy for me, and it's a great source of decently priced tracks. Thanks svelte_corps. Timing. We try to not change the front page too fast...
  14. I'll close this so people post their drool in the new topic.
  15. Your site seems to be down so I'll check it out later. I hope you're promoting us on your site!
  16. Welcome back! Thanks for posting here, even if you don't post much in the future. Where? Tabletown? Classic-Space? I've been trying to keep track of your SHIP project via your Brickshelf account and I'm really curious how it turns out. Any chance of me persuading you to post updates here?
  17. Thanks! They're all at a good price too! I think I will be buying them all.
  18. Like this you mean?
  19. Looking at prototype pictures can be sad... Who knows why Lego changed their mind... but they did. It is surprising that it happened at such a late stage though.
  20. Great MOC. I like the usage of the wheel arch on the bridge. I used to do Dragon Boat racing while in the Navy. I even toured to Hong Kong and China (not the same at the time). Thanks for the flashbacks!
  21. No, it's a build Sinner's ego thread... that seems to be failing! Burn baby, burn! I think your reason is lacking, but you've been added just the same!
  22. I'll protect you with my multipurpose bucket!
  23. Was that a mystery?
  24. I'm a regular reader of The Brothers Brick and recently they blogged about one of Hinckley's MOCs and the poster said that he feels Hinckley is responsible for the new Fabuland trend. I've been thinking about this for a while, and a few days ago I was discussing something else with Hinckley and Fabuland come up in the conversation. Here are some excepts from it... The way I see it, Fabuland Housewives was first by a large margin, but it wasn't until I turned up here with a Fabuland avatar and got Hinckley frustrated about his turkey that others started using Fabuland avatars. However, after Sir Nadroj made some cool MOCs that others started making Fabuland MOCs more.... Then there's imperialshadows and the FBG; perhaps it's him! So what do you think? Is it me, Hinckley, Sir Nadroj, imperialshadows... or someone else? (Give me a good reason and I'll add another name to the list.) EDIT: sir dano claims he is because he coined the term "The Fabuland Edge". I boo him for this claim as the Renaissance of Fabuland was before that, but I've added him anyway! Gylman for his Fabuland keychain collection and display.
  25. A MOC of one of the scenes, like my example entry. You can make it like a set if you want, but there is no need to.
