I can't see any issue with a person being on the panel. The rough plan for the voting is this; 1. People make MOCs. 2. The voting panel vote each pick, in no order, what half they think should be in. 3. I tally up the votes and I then have my weeded out list of the best entires. 4. EB selects the winner. Providing we have enough entries and enough Meisters I think it'll still be fair. I've actually been wanting to experiment with this style of voting for a while... It won't take that much time. When the time comes I'll ask for a list of at least 5 (but preferably 50% of the total entries) that you think should be included. I'll give about a week for everyone to decide, and I'll allow conversation and vote changing. So it'll take 5 minutes if you are pressed for time, but a week if you want...!

In, and in. BTW, I can't see any harm in allowing people who enter to be part of the panel. That's why I want at least 5, but preferably about 10. I'll clarify this as well.

For the upcoming contest I want the winner to be selected from a function driven perspective, not aesthetics alone, so I will be stacking the deck in terms of votes. To do this (fairly) I need 5+ people to weed out the under-deserving entries. What am I looking for? People who appreciate Technic. People who see a model and won't say; "It looks too Technicy". Think you're qualified? Post here why then... Just be sure that you have the time to help... I'm hoping to be able to pick more than I need, but I'll want at least 5. Why? Well I'm happy for people to be able to enter the contest and be on the Meister panel, but to avoid any claims of bias I'll need to have their vote diluted enough. Rewards? Not too many in the short term. I'll be creating a secret forum for the Meister to discuss Meistery things, and you'll probably all get a tag, but for those interested it could be a gateway to other things.... (There's no hurry; I don't need to have these selected for at least a month.)

I like the idea, but to me it's too limited in what people could actually make. Too many rides are just a spinning thing with balanced cars, with the Zippper... ...being one of the more complicated. I don't see a lot of potential for people add a lot of function other than a spinner and maybe a ram of sorts to lift an arm. That's actually similar to what I wanted to do, (my idea was anything without wheels) so I might actually go for a derivative of that. But feel free to add ideas; this won't be the last Technic contest!

After a long time ruling the Realm, our History Mod I Scream Clone, is stepping down and will become a Fellow again. (His life's getting too busy, for more details nag his ex-lordship. Before anyone asks, no there is no replacement planned as yet.) Hopefully he'll still be around on EB to share his cool creations. I will especially miss him as he's actually one of the few Staff members that I've actually met; here's a photo of me at his house last time! Thus if he doesn't regularly drop by I'll have to jump on the bike and visit him... Anyway, thanks for all your help around EB, good luck in the future, and if your situation changes you're always welcome back.

We should just wait; this person should be dead soon! Anyway, I'm not really sure how it's supposed to help us if everyone reveals clues, afterall we have no idea what ones are true... or even if the clues themselves mean anything.. and if we all know the answers then we all have equal "advantage"... which means we might as well just keep them secret in the name of equality.. but it seems these random musings are just my own, so it's sharing time! As I said before; ...well that was actually the answer. I looked at right side (camera perspective) and was told I found a fiber of brown fabric. Could it be my jacket? (Probably not as that was leather! )

There's nothing spammy about photos of new sets! I've done that before. Often I walk away just in the hope this happens...

The short answer is; probably not. Why? Well EB (like all Invision boards) does have a mobile version), but it's disabled. Why? Because people complained about it! The mobile version is obviously limited, and I find it annoying myself. In the times I visit EB on my phone (Samsung Galaxy SII) I want all the images and the mobile version is forced on all based on browser. Thus all Androids and iOS devices, regardless of screen, gets it. This is why it's off.

I got mine on a 20% off sale. That sounds like a good mod. Thanks for picking up my mistakes. I've corrected the review. But I never said they are spare; I called them "Previously unseen parts"....

So are the blood pools the same? Shape, size, (smell,) colour... etc?
