Thanks for the advice guys! What happens next depends on the Bike store; if they offer me free transport (they are 5 minutes away) then I'll probably just replace it, but if not it'll be smarter for me to buy a repair kit and do a temp fix to at least get there and avoid a transport fee! We'll see...

I've been getting complaints about this, and after some thought I agree. No more store updates from sellers. That is, this topic is meant for people to trade and report finds, not for free advertising from shops. (No, we're not asking for money.) Feel free to post in the BSTF forum like everyone else does, but be aware that the bumping rule does apply so don't overpost updates. It's a guideline... No, it's not that. It's a case of; Dark ages = wants to keep visiting EB to talk to old friends but doesn't have an interest in LEGO so he just comes here for off topic conversation. This in itself is OK, but when people start making way off base topics like this so they can find fun on a site they no longer find fun it becomes annoying. The community forum is for active members to share off topic interests, it's not meant to be a major forum on EB. Right now Community is about the size of the Town forum, which is OK, but certainly not good. That's the issue here.

...I hate being a party pooper, but it's a living. This topic is being tolerated right now, but it's running the risk of being a spam pit. What makes this topic especially questionable is that its creator (and the person with most of the posts) is entering a Dark Age. So in short, have fun, have a laugh... but don't be surprised if this topic is killed soon.

I was excited by this set when I first heard of it, but many of the details (such as the nose and engines) I didn't like, and I felt the price was excessive. It did come locally for me, but it still never was compelling enough. Thanks for sharing the review! I'm curious how it goes. They have a very different shape.
