  1. Me too! I only ran into it as I'm indexing... Wonderful review as always. I didn't buy this one, and I don't really have any regrets. Why? Aside from the wheel covers I could build something very similar from spare parts and these days I need to be mindful of my ever-diminishing free space. Even so, this is an excellent design that looks very close to the real thing. The police version is still available locally (I think) and that's more temping for me as it's blue. Maybe I should look for it! Thanks for the review.
  2. Very cool and accurate! I'm feeling the urge to portal down that camera!
  3. Alopex has shared a composite review of some of the smaller M-Tron sets. Do they attract you? Be drawn to the Sci-Fi forum and read the LEGO M-Tron review!
  4. Wow, nice review! It's hard to do a good review of some of these smaller sets, but you've covered it well. The photos of the canopies look great!
  5. I'm still unsure on if I like this set or not, but I must admit the alt models are comparatively good!
  6. I make no claim to read every post on EB. If you want to help Leg-godt feel free to find this topic, but otherwise I have no idea what you're talking about. As a FYI, if it's anything like this then please note that I feel contests like that are different. These are advertising campaigns with rewards, and thus they want people to spread the word. Very different to a small forum hosted contest.
  7. ...I gave this some thought and it seems to me that using EB to get more votes for this is a bit unfair. Since we discourage people doing it for our own contests it would be hypocritical for me to allow this. Even so, prove to me that I'm wrong (i.e. show me a place where it says "please campaign for more votes outside this community") and you can repost the links.
  8. Happy Birthday!
  9. As promised! He's a friend. Yeah, it's going to be a steep learing curve. This one is a lot taller for one. That part should be easy!
  10. Look at this innocent post; It's post 1 million! W00t?
  11. Very nice! I must confess that I think it'd look better with a single prop; the front engine looks too huge in comparison. BTW, congrats on making EBs 1 millionth post!
  12. ...and so it does. I'll fix it tomorrow. Thanks.
  13. Did you notice this on the signup page, after the part about "mature audience"? And yes, we do mean that we mean it...
  14. Well I'm not 100% sick of it; we're still friends and all, and we shared some drinks before parting. The issue here is that I have 3000 km round trip coming up next month, and the more I thought about it the more I realised it would be silly doing it on a 125. It's a very different bike, and it'll take a lot of adjustment...
  15. Great photos! Yay! I've been to an event!
  16. New bike; a 650 Versys. Yeah I'm a naughty boy upgrading so soon... I'll post more photos later...
  17. I've done the course; I'll do it.
  18. Yeah, I have a lot to build too. This weekend I did re-organise my LEGO so when I do get around to building it'll be faster!
  19. Yes, this is the correct answer. I'll be moving this out of the Embassy forum now...
  20. Updated! Mostly just new reviews and I've added a lot of new sets from the Action Figures forum. Me too!
  21. ...and I just fixed it! As a message to all that read this, please report errors like this to avoid universal confusion. I'm indexing at the moment and it's good I've been checking on set facts... On the subject of the set itself, I liked what LEGO was doing here with the playsets. I ended up with a few of them, but to my regret I missed this one. I'm still hoping that TLG will do playsets for Hero Factory.
  22. Sadly it's one piece. I was a bit disappointed to discover this when I got the set.
  23. Very good review of a very lucky find! I don't think much of this set, but it's great to at last have review of it. I do agree with what you say about the helmets, in that the old ones didn't need a visor as it didn't look like it was missing one. The first one was even better in that it had no chin bump at all... but most of mine broke as a kid so there you go!
