...says the guy who wasn't maintaining the board. Among other things the old board was too easy for spammers to get in and it was wasting oodles of our time keeping the board clean. Besides, Invision are withdrawing support so we have little choice. Cheer up! This isn't our first major upgrade, nor will it be the last. There was more problems last time and now people see that one as the "old" board. I still remember how much trouble that one gave us. Ahhh... bad times. Why log out? I never do. This isn't a board issue; it's a browser one. We had similar problems last time.

I preferred it not being there too, but the admins discussed the issue and it was decided to do it if we can implement it without having to edit every skin. I looked into it about an hour ago and I found an easy and neat way to do it. It's staying... for the moment.

Don't apologise. Just don't do it. I never took typing classes either and I can type without looking at the keyboard. (In some cases I have to; the keys have worn out.)

That's hard to be sure, but... (looking at the stats) I'd say about 10% of our members are regular posters. The rest have only made a few posts, or haven't been back for years. I'm especially happy about that! I thing the separation from Bionicle helped a lot there.

It's cool. As it turns out I have a HTC Desire (called Roy) and I downloaded it, tested it, and I even wrote a comment! It's good; as you say it uses your IP to pick the price and that works. Personally I think Win mobile is a dead platform for the moment. Killing backwards compatibility to compete with Apple was an odd move. But I'm off topic.

OK, I'll try some more things. I like it the way it is, but we might do something similar. Yeah, that was me. I needed to create the skins one at a time and I set some as board skins for a short time.

That's a feature, not a fault. An odd feature I know, but a feature it is. Cancel your subscriptions: Profile->Forums->View/Posting/Manage Watched Forums ...and.. Profile->Forums->View/Posting/Manage Watched Topics Also check Profile->Forums->View/Posting/View/Posting/Email Prefs/Email Prefs and check that EMails are off. Actually this is the upgrade! Another silly feature I know; this one I might kill. I made some changes earlier; does it still show the same on your iPhone?

Thanks for reporting. I'll look into this ASAP. There is a feature that picks that for mobile devices. I tested it on my Android phone and it was no difference, but it seems that iPhones activate it. I'll disable this for the moment. It's not an IP board issue to my knowledge; we've been set to 3 characters for years. Checking... I'm not recieving any extra EMails, but I've noted this.

Actually the old board had that! It never worked well, but it was there. Press the smiley face button; it comes back. Fixed! Not going to change. I actually like this feature. Yeah, Shadows persuaded me on that. I was more learning to giving it a chance, but he made this 234 page post of doom and gloom.... Boo! Looks great on my HTC Desire too! The board does have a special "Lo-Fi" skin but I don't think it's needed. I will be looking into it though; it could be useful for quick checks!

Really? I think it's clearer now that the brick is back. But for what it's worth, the EB Pirate forum is themed to match Classic-Pirates. Classic-Pirates staff use our forum to organise, and help out to some degree as well. But it still is the EB Pirate forum.

We're going to re-name the forum soon. Obviously we're not going to keep naming it after a dead theme. Ben 10 belongs 100%; the building styles are identical. I agree that the Knights Kingdom figs are a bit off topic (they do have some techinic in them) but since we'll be using this as a constructible action figure forum it fits. Who knows where the Hero Factory line will go? I certainly don't. The first year of Exo-Force was mostly system, but the second was mostly technic. Things change. For this reason we've broadened the scope of the forum somewhat. The new banner reflects that decision. To get it out of the way, Galidor belongs here too now. At the start yes, but it ended up being mostly about pins and ball joints. Hardly techinc.

First off, please note that we had similar complaints last upgrade! Also note that while we can change formatting somewhat, major changes are not possible. This we'd like to test more. I tend to think it'll make pinned topics more effective.... Disabled. I put that there so I can change this. (By default it wasn't shown; this new board has removed a lot of features.) I'll give it some thought. Gone for now. Annoyingly the new board had it set that it always went to quick edit, and you needed to press again to go to normal. I found that rather annoying so I killed the quick edit all together. I'll look into this. Yes, they are a mess. That's a priority job of mine to fix. What one? Fixed ten minutes ago! Yes, I was going to add that to every banned but I didn't as I noticed a new option in the profile... ...and I wanted to test on an active board how well the latter works. With that we may not need the "Active Topics" view as much. Give me a few days testing on that, but feel free to share your opinions.
