Holy crap, the Earth sets are stealing the show for me this year it seems. I'm loving the trans purple bones (although a lack of lower bone pieces is extremely annoying), and that Defender mask in black & purple is amazing. Also the giant MoCr is fantastic.

You wouldn't have to paint the mask orange unless you wanted that exact colorscheme (or the inevitable Nuparu), don't forget there was a black Fikou made from Onua and Pohatu. I do miss those adorable balljoint eyes..

I think someone else mentioned it on the FB page, but the writing reminds me more of the Bohrok symbols. This is looks more like some type of writing as opposed to being a couple symbols, but that's the feeling I got from it. Regardless of whatever it is, I like it. Obviously Matoran writing existed throughout much of Bionicle, but since 2001-3 it wasn't featured nearly as much as this mysterious writing already has this year.

Anything Knight/Medieval themed would certainly be welcome to me. If we saw a Knights III theme, I'd like to see there be multiple types of shoulder/knee add-ons in different colors. They could even start by using the gold Chima add-on, I could see something like that being used in a Knights theme in silver or black. If it is an idea/proposal/proof of concept for an Action Figure theme it is welcome here.

There is one feature actually- When you go to Quick Navigation->Community->Member Status Updates, you can choose to filter the list to display interactions that your friends have done, whether they post a status or comment on a profile. (Quick Navigation is the small icon next to View New Content button at the top right of the page under the banner.) -

My favorite is a rather obscure one, Niazesk. Pohatu, Vamprah, and Toa Ignika. I'm not sure what it is that draws me to this one above the others, but I really love the finished look of it.

I would certainly like for the entire summer wave to be "titan" sets, but I would guess the sizes will be more varied. A range of $12-$25 or something like that. Regardless of what the wave sizes are, I hope we see some bipedal villains. I mean I'd be okay with figures like Bohrok or Rahkshi, I'm just tired of spiders/arachnid/crawling things.

Not necessarily, if it takes any hints from 2001 then the regions will not be directly names after the island. 2001 used Ko-Wahi, Ko-Koro, etc, as opposed to Ko-Mata. And you forgot Ta.

I don't hate the Hau. I disliked the one we got in 2008- Yes, it was an awesome mask, but it didn't fit Tahu. This mask is just as much a departure from the original Kanohi as the other ones are, but contrary to 2008, this too me still feels like Tahu.

What were your First and Last BIONICLE G1 Sets?

Lewa and Tahu mata were the first two I had gotten, and the last sets were Tahu, Rahkshi, Gresh, and Skrall stars. All things aside, I started with Tahu and ended with Tahu. -
Well then, after taking a closer look I realize how I completely missed the gears/odd arms on Pohatu and Lewa- My mistake. I think if that were the case, every mask would have to have points to connect a hinged mask on top of them, that would have severely changed the designs of the masks.

Regardless of how secure they are, I am quite curious as to what head will actually be beneath the mask. The knights kingdom heads were big round blobs with a printed on face, which wouldn't make much sense here. I imagine the head would have to be vaguely the shape of the Inika's head mount. Personally I don't think the knocking-off-mask is a plausible feature- It appears that only three Toa have geared arms. What happens if a kid has Lewa, while another has Onua with (presumable) moveable arms? Both masks can be knocked off, but Lewa wouldn't have a way to do it. Play features should ideally be implemented on all sets of a price range, at least that's how it's been done in the past, and I can't imagine why they would change that now. If anything I think it's mainly for the flip-up feature, to make Bionicle's faces more prominent this time around.

They had the same longevity as the Exo-Force light bricks, they seemed to last the same amount of time and got dim at similar levels. I'd certainly prefer a variety of eye colors to the usual trans neon orange or neon green (and occasional light blue). As Aanchir said trans dark green was pretty terrible- though with trans purple making it's way in, I wouldn't be opposed to trans light purple eyes.
